22 Kids and Counting star Sue Radford concerned for daughter as she makes emotional admission
22 Kids and Counting star Sue Radford has opened up on the 'exhaustion' she felt when she worked right up until her due date. The reality star matriarch, 50, was seen in Sunday night's episode of the Channel 5 reality show where she and husband Noel dealt with the final throes of daughter Chloe's pregnancy.
The parents became concerned about just how much their daughter, 29, was taking on as she prepared to welcome her second baby with partner Jacob. But because Jacob was busy pursuing his dream of opening a gym, Chloe felt as if she had to work as much as possible in the family bakery because she was the one with the more 'stable income' at that time. But mother Sue could not help but show her concern for Chloe as the final weeks of her pregnancy came about, even though she admitted that she used to work just as hard.
In scenes aired towards the end of the weekend, Sue told Noel: "I know Chloe said she wants to work right up until the due date but I think it's gonna be too much for her, she's on her feet all day. I used to go up to 37 or 38 weeks. I was exhausted but the only worry is that sometimes you don't really realise until you've got a sore pelvis or you've got a sore back or whatever. You know what Chloe's like, you can't tell her, can you?" It comes after Alex Jones fights back tears as her rarely-seen husband appears on The One Show.
Sue and Noel were not the only ones to show concern for Chloe as she took on as much work as possible whilst going through the final stages of her pregnancy. Viewers were shocked when Chloe had to jump out of a bakery van to throw up in the middle of the street as morning sickness took its toll on her. One fan wrote on X/Twitter: "That's just insane!" before adding in a second tweet: "Just hope everything turns out for Chloe."
Things took a dramatic turn when Chloe began to feel unwell and could not feel the baby moving. She was taken for an emergency scan and Jacob arrived in the nick of time. Everything turned out okay in the end, and Chloe, who already has three-year-old Mila with Jacob: told the cameras: "I think lastnight...it was just awful, wasn't it? Just thinking that tit didn't feel like he was moving, it was awful. We ended up at triage, went up to the room and they listened to his heartbeat.
"My hand was just shaking and, yeah. Lo and behold as soon as the Doppler went on he's [moving]. So yeah. They were happy with him and everything was fine, we just breathed such a sigh of relief. It's just scary isn't it?"
In the end, Chloe decided to slow down and taken some time off before the baby arrived and Jacob had put his gym dreams on hold whilst he took on another job. Final scenes showed Sue receiving a text message to let her know that her latest grandchild was here.
Noel exclaimed: "Well done, Chloe!" The couple are currently grandparents to 12 children, and Noel joked that he admitted that he had 'no idea' just how many more would come along, joking that they may eventually get to 40.
Despite her parents having 22 children, Chloe then declared: "No more, I'm done!"
Jacob and Chloe's second child was born on April 28, 2025. The couple announced that they had chosen to name their son Bodhi Reign. The new mum-of-two had a "brutal" labour which she said midwives believed to be a very "dangerous" issue that caused hours of bleeding.
She was in hospital the majority of the day but pushed only for nine minutes in total. Chloe was told to go into hospital due to bleeding after having a few contractions but all went well and baby Bodhi arrived safely.

Strictly's JB Gill reveals why he and wife Chloe DIDN'T renew their vows at 10 years despite plans to
STRICTLY star JB Gill has revealed why he and his wife Chloe didn't end up renewing their vows at 10 years, despite plans to. The JLS star, 38, married Chloe in January 2014 after four years of being together. 5 5 5 The couple met when Chloe was a back-up dancer for JB's pop band JLS – while the singer described the big day as 'the best day of my life'. Chloe and JB wed on the Scottish Island of Bute with JLS bandmates Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes and Oritse Williams in attendance. But the star and his wife, who share two adorable children, didn't end up renewing their vows after 10 years of marriage in 2024, and JB has explained why. The 38-year-old told The Sun: 'It was really weird because we always said 10 years. 'And listen, we'd have loved to have done it just to say that we did it, but it just didn't quite feel right and I think we're definitely in that place in life where it's like we're in the thick of it.' JB went on: 'We're in the busy part of life, the kids are taking a lot of the focus and there's not a lot of spare time and I think in the next ten years for example Ace will be 21, which is nuts, but I think at that stage when they're sort of a lot more independent and doing their own thing, maybe at uni or at work, got their own house or whatever, then that'll be the time to sort of get together and have some time for ourselves.' Strictly runner-up JB also opened up on how he and wife Chloe keep the spark alive in their marriage, while being heavily involved in the world of showbiz. Speaking on behalf of car insurance brand Tempcover, JB continued: 'I mean, this, honestly, genuinely, it's tough because it's busy, you know, ultimately, and we're both doing our own things. 'We've got our own projects on the go, and now we've got two children who are, you know, aspiring to be just as busy.' Nepo-babies with famous pop star dad are all smiles in TV appearance on Channel 5 - but do you know who they are- The couple are parents to son Ace, 11, and Chiara, seven, and they're both following in their parents' footsteps. JB continued: 'My daughter is ust starting out and living a very full school life, but also sort of, you know, dabbling with entertainment as well. 'She's just booked a voiceover for a very well known Sky Animation, which she's very excited about. 'Then Ace is into his football, but he's also done a number of different productions and TV and film and also obviously playing in the academy. 'It's busy in our household and I think the biggest thing for Chloe and I is just taking stock and appreciating our relationship because, ultimately, that's the foundation. 'Wherever we can we just take moments with each other, whether that's going on holiday or a night out.' JB is a busy family and career man, with no signs of stopping. Not only is the start embarking on his brand new The Club Is Alive tour with JLS in November, but JB also fronts shows like The One Show, had his CBeebies show Down on the Farm, and a cooking show with his two adorable children Ace and Chiara. Touching on family life with his wife Chloe, JB spoke about their summer plans and the fact that they are lovers of a game of shotgun when it comes to car journeys. He said: 'Three in ten argue with their kids about who gets the front seat in the car but that just doesn't happen in my family. 'My wife is always overruling the kids, the unofficial rule is that wives overrule. But yeah, it's great working with Tempcover, because everyone plays it differently and certainly over the years when I first started driving I played shotgun with my mates and the JLS boys too.' New official rules launched by temporary car insurance brand Tempcover, backed by research and JB Gill of JLS, help end the Shotgun debate for smoother summer journeys. 5 5
