Coldplay's crazy concert moments: Astronomer CEO Andy Byron's 'Kiss Cam' incident to honoring Jasprit Bumrah

Time of India2 days ago
A 'Kiss Cam' would never be the same again (at least for Coldplay), after Andy Byron, the CEO of Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, Chief People Officer (HR Department), were accidentally exposed for having an alleged infidelity while being displayed.
The video has been getting mixed reactions: some have sparked outrage for the workplace professionalism, and others have been sharing memes and blatantly mocking the duo.
The 'that' incident happened at a Coldplay concert in Boston, which was part of their 'Music of the Spheres' tour. While Andy and Kristin would always be remembered by the fans, there have been other incidents that were either gushed over or laughed over.
Let's take a look at the iconic moments from the concerts.
Chris Martin
's fall
In the preceding year, Chris Martin and his bandmates were performing at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. While he was addressing the audience, the 48-year-old was stepping back without looking behind, and bang! He fell into the open trapdoor of the stage, and fortunately, there were a couple of people from the crew standing inside the hold who caught him and assisted him in getting back up.

He said, 'That wasn't planned. Thank you for catching me so much. Thank you guys, holy s–t, that was a YouTube moment,' and indeed it was.
The
Jasprit Bumrah
moment at Coldplay
Chris Martin, being a fan of cricket, surprised the concertgoers at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai in January 2025 when he mentioned the prolific cricketer, Jasprit Bumrah. He joked about ending the concert early because Bumrah was waiting backstage and he could bowl to him.
A couple of days later, when Coldplay was performing in Ahmedabad, Bumrah visited the concert, and Martin honoured him.
'O Jasprit Bumrah, my beautiful brother. The best bowler in the whole of cricket. We did not enjoy watching you destroy England, wicket after wicket,' referring to India's win against England.
A 15-year-old sang with Chris Martin
Chris Martin, the kind and generous musician, performed 'Everglow' with a 15-year-old, making his dream come true. As the vocalist sat in front of his piano, he held up a poster that read, "I manifested this moment. I'm ready for it.
Can I play Everglow with you?' Well, the singer asked whether they could sing together. The 15-year-old was given the opportunity to play the piano, while Martin sat next to him. As he looked at the boy, the talented fan kept playing the tune during the concert in Mumbai.
Honorary mention: Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot's awkward moment
How can we ever forget this? The CEO of Astronomer, Andy Byron, and the CPO, Kristin Cabot, were in each other's arms, and the camera panned towards them during the 'Kiss Cam' session. Making both of them startle, Cabot turned around and eventually left the frame, while Byron tried to hide behind a glass barricade.
As a response, Martin joked, 'Either they're having an affair or they're just really shy." 'Oh s–t, I hope we didn't do something bad,' he added.

IND vs PAK: Brett Lee on cancelled India-Pakistan WCL clash - 'We pushed for it, but…'

The India vs Pakistan clash in the ongoing World Championships of Legends was cancelled. The World Championship of Legends (WCL) match between India and Pakistan was called off after several former Indian players declined to participate, citing the recent terror attack in Pahalgam. Former Australian cricketer Brett Lee addressed the cancellation during a press conference in Coventry, maintaining a neutral stance on the sensitive matter. The WCL organizers confirmed the cancellation of the fixture scheduled to be played at Edgbaston in Birmingham through an official statement. Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! The decision came in response to the deteriorating relationship between India and Pakistan following the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam on April 22. When asked about the match cancellation, Brett Lee, representing Australia Champions, said: "That is a tough question. But the thing I'll say right now is, I love India, I love Pakistan. So I hope that they can get to a discretion where they can appreciate themselves. But most importantly, we are here for a tournament. So Australia versus India versus South Africa — we are all inclusive. So what happened last night is what happened. We pushed for it." The WCL had initially announced the India-Pakistan fixture following a recent volleyball match between the two nations, aiming to create positive memories for fans. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Many Are Watching Tariffs - Few Are Watching What Nvidia Just Launched Seeking Alpha Read More Undo However, the decision backfired, leading to discomfort among Indian legends. The organization issued an apology for any hurt sentiments and subsequently called off the match. Former Indian player Dhawan revealed through an email to tournament organizers that the decision not to play against Pakistan had been communicated on May 11, considering the current geopolitical situation. Dhawan later posted on X: " Jo kadam 11 May ko liya, uspe aaj bhi waise hi khada hoon. Mera desh mere liye sab kuch hai, aur desh se badhkar kuch nahi hota. " (I stand by the decision I took on May 11. My country is everything to me, and nothing is bigger than the country.) In the previous edition of the WCL, India Champions had emerged victorious against Pakistan in the final, successfully chasing down a target of 157 runs to claim the title with a five-wicket win. Florida tragedy: Dog the bounty hunter's step-grandson accidently killed by step-son; sheriff calls it 'isolated case'

A heartbreaking loss has struck the family of reality TV star Duane 'Dog' Chapman, after his stepson, Gregory Zecca, allegedly shot and killed his 13-year-old son, Anthony, in a tragic accident. The incident reportedly took place on Saturday night at the Naples, Florida apartment of Gregory Zecca, the son of Chapman's wife, Francie Frane, the New York post reported, citing TMZ. Zecca allegedly shot and killed his own son, Anthony, in what the family described as a "tragic accident." In a statement to TMZ, representatives for Chapman and his family said, "We are grieving as a family over this incomprehensible tragic accident and would ask for continued prayers as we grieve the loss of our beloved grandson, Anthony." The Collier county Sheriff's Office confirmed to the Naples Daily News that it was investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Saturday night. It described the case as an "isolated incident," though no names were officially released. As of now, no arrests have been made as per ANI. According to TMZ, Zecca is part of Chapman's bounty hunting team and has a clear interest in firearms.
