AccuWeather predicts a high of 87 degrees with partly sunny skies Sunday. With humidity, it is forecast to feel like 96 degrees, cooler than the forecasts earlier this week. There is about an 80% chance of rain with a 72% chance of thunderstorms, a few in the early morning and then again about noon and 2 p.m.
Winds are expected to blow out of the east at 10 mph with gusts up to 17 mph.
What roads will be closed for Florida Panthers parade?

Honestly, I'm not like a super anxious guy or anything like that. When I found out, I was kind of just like, 'well, I'm traded,' and took a nap afterwards. I'm excited to be here, though. I love Denver, I love my time there, but I'm excited for this new chapter." Porter, 27, comes to Brooklyn as one of the oldest players on the team, meaning that he will have to be a presence for the roster on and off the floor. Porter has spent the majority of his seven-year career playing with Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, but now, he will have to bring his championship experience and scoring ability to a rebuilding Brooklyn team that is looking for multiple players to step up. "I think it's more of what I'm used to, I think," Porter said when asked about his leadership being tested with the Nets. "Coming into the league and being the guy your whole life and then, coming in and there's players that are better than you, been there longer than you, all those things, that's an adjustment. Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. was involved in one of the more surprising moves in the 2025 NBA offseason as he was traded by the Denver Nuggets during free-agency. Brooklyn not only acquired Porter, but they also received a 2032 first-round pick from Denver, showing how committed they were to making a change and Porter is excited for what's next. "I'm really excited for this next chapter out here in Brooklyn. I think over there in Denver, I felt like my ceiling had kind of plateaued," Porter said in a video posted to his YouTube channel called "Curious Mike." Porter spent the first half of the video giving thanks to everyone within the Nuggets organization before moving to the portion where he addressed going to the Nets. "I myself am excited to expand my game and be able to do what I do," Porter continued. Porter went on to explain how he found out that he was traded while on a flight to Saint-Tropez, France by getting texts from his agent and Jon Wallace, Denver's EVP of Player Personnel. Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. had one of the more eventful offseasons compared to most players in the NBA as he found out he was being traded while on a flight. Brooklyn acquired Porter and a 2032 first-round pick from the Denver Nuggets in exchange for forward Cam Johnson and the former Missouri Tiger finally got the chance to explore his new surroundings. "Excited. (I) got my first lift today. My first little core workout, you know what I mean? So, I came here to grind. (I) got to get better," Porter said during his vlog of his first day in Brooklyn posted to his "Curious Mike" YouTube channel. Porter's vlog shows him getting a tour of the Nets' practice facility that he will be familiarizing himself with over the course of the upcoming season. "I'm not even going to lie, it's a whirlwind getting traded," Porter said following the conclusion of the tour. "To figure out the new facility, your new space, how you get to the arena, all that little stuff. It takes a minute. It took me about 3 years to learn how to get from my crib to the Denver airport with no GPS. So, it's definitely going to be a little adjustment period." Porter, 27, spent his first seven years in the league as a member of the Denver Nuggets before being traded to the Nets earlier this offseason. Porter, the 14th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, said during his time watching Brooklyn play in the Las Vegas Summer League that he's excited to show what he can do in an expanded role after seeing his game "plateau" in Denver.
