Google Drive's redesign is slowly spreading to all corners of the app
These Material 3 Expressive overhauls haven't been particularly dramatic so far, primarily tweaking existing layouts and touch targets to better direct your attention to important bits of the UI. This upcoming Google Drive refresh is along those lines. According to screenshots published by Android Authority, Drive will soon get a spiffed-up overflow menu, accessible by tapping the three-dot icon in any document.

The new menu has colorful, pill-shaped buttons. For folders, these buttons are Share, Add to starred, and Summarize this folder. Instead of Summarize this folder, individual files have aMake available offline option. Android Authority also points out that the old version's Manage access button is gone in the redesigned version, with that functionality now tucked behind the share menu.
Android Authority also spotted a more prominent Summarize this file button in Drive's PDF viewer.
Noted Android tinkerer AssembleDebug was able to get these changes up and running in version 2.25.260.0.all.alldpi of the Google Drive app; they're not user-facing in any released version of Drive yet. But given Google's been updating tons of its apps with Material 3 Expressive elements in recent weeks, you should expect to see these updates in your own Drive app soon.

We've spotted updates for MultiStar as well as for NavStar and QuickStar modules that makes them compatible with One UI 8: Zac Kew-Denniss / Android Authority As you can see, the MultiStar module has been updated to v10.0.32 with support for One UI 8. This update also brings an exclusive 'Launcher widget' feature for the Flip 7 and two new settings for all multi-window support devices. The App Screen Size Conversion setting provides an icon for easy switching between full, landscape, and portrait modes, whereas the Portrait Mode Screen Ration Adjustment setting lets you toggle between 16:9 and 21:9 ratios. The NavStar and QuickStar modules have also been updated with support for One UI 8, but their changelog doesn't contain any other interesting tidbits. Speaking of interesting, Home Up is one of the most prolific Good Lock modules you can install on your Samsung Galaxy phone. As spotted by Sammy Fans, it has received a healthy update that bumps up compatibility with One UI 8 and brings a ton of new features. Several of these features are for DIY Home Screen, like alignment guides, item grouping, edit lock, floating toolbar, and more. Other changes include Page Indicator Hiding for a clean home screen, Horizontal Scrolling in 'Alphabetical Order' mode, HomeUp Quick Access pop-up, app launch animation tuning settings, and more.
