Cocktails will be priced between £5 and £7, up to half off the usual cost.
Ms Christison said: "Customers get as many days and nights out as they want during the 10-day run, with £5-7 exclusive cocktails at each spot, all unlocked with your Glasgow Cocktail Festival wristband."
The event is expected to include around 100 bars and restaurants, featuring cocktails and mocktails made with Diageo brands such as Smirnoff, Captain Morgan, Baileys, Tanqueray, Johnnie Walker, Guinness, Casamigos Blanco, and Seedlip.
Kyle Martin of Diageo said: "Diageo are thrilled to be supporting the hospitality trade and broader industry with our partnership with M-AD on this incredibly exciting new concept.
"We are bringing to Glasgow Cocktail Festival the full power of our deep range of premium spirits brands, as well as the vitally important alcohol-free offerings delivering all the premium taste with none of the alcohol."

Reading and Leeds festival fans convinced TWO massive bands are lined up for secret sets after spotting gaps in line up

READING and Leeds Festival fans are convinced two acts have been booked for secret sets. The twin festivals, held over the same weekend, are back for 2025 with a line-up which includes Travis Scott, Bring Me the Horizon and Hozier. 5 5 The two sites will also welcome Chappell Roan, for her exclusive UK headline festival appearance. Yet eagle-eyed gig-goers are convinced a pair of rock bands will delight fans with unexpected sets across both sites. One user on Reddit quizzed: "Are secret sets still a thing?" They continued: "As title says, back when I went a few years in a row (2015-2018) secret sets were all the rage, is this still a thing? "Just looking at the schedule for Saturday and there seems to be a big gap before snow strippers on festival republic stage, also is it normal to have a break of almost an hour before the headliners on main stage?" One fan was quick to reply with a clue - and put: " Wolf Alice would be the logical one given when the album comes out." Another user agreed and put: "Good chance of this I reckon." The four-piece Brit rock band, formed in London, were created in 2010. Their fourth studio album The Clearing is due to be released tomorrow, Friday 22. Wolf Alice say Glasgow is one of their fav places to play ahead of TRNSMT gig Meanwhile, others reckon Aussie electronic rock band Pendulum could be on the line up. One wrote on the forum: "Me and a mate have been discussing Pendulum, as they're touring and also releasing their newest album on the Friday." Another posted: "They still do have secret sets, usually at least 2+ each year. Varying sized acts though." Their release, entitled Inertia, will also be released tomorrow. OFF STAGE Meanwhile, we reported how one band has confirmed they won't be able to play the festival after being unable to afford the travel costs. American rockers House of Protection had been booked to appear at the annual festival but have now been forced to change their plans owing to money issues. Taking to Instagram to confirm they had been forced to change their plans, the band wrote: "We are devastated to announce that we will no longer be performing at this year's Reading & Leeds Festivals. "Most of the funding to make this short trip possible was coming from our performance at the Heavy Music Awards, which unfortunately has been cancelled due to unforeseen and serious health issues affecting a key member of their team. "Our condolences go out to that team member during this challenging time." They continued: "We are deeply sorry to disappoint those who were excited to see us. "Unfortunately, we simply don't have the resources to make this happen at the moment. "Your support means everything to us, and we want to assure you that we are already looking forward to making it up to you in the near future (Spain as well). "This decision was not easy for us." It wasn't all bad news for fans of the band as they clarified they would be returning to the UK in October in order to tour with fellow band, Architects. 5 5

‘I'm completely obsessed': fashion pros reveal their bank holiday picks including prices from £11.99

Emily has found a great alternative to the famous House of Sunny cardigan for £48. Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) THE bank holiday weekend is here, which for many of us means squeezing in our final end-of-summer plans before autumn hits. And although the high street is in full A/W mode, with cosy knitwear, chunky boots and jackets galore, we've been blessed with some gorgeous sunshine recently. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up The days may still be warm, but the evenings are definitely getting cooler, and that's where the wardrobe dilemmas kick in. Whether your plans involve a garden party with friends, a family barbecue or if you're simply using the extra day to check off a few chores at home, we've got you covered. Our fashion experts reveal what they'll be wearing this weekend to help spark inspiration, plus we couldn't resist some pieces from the new Topshop collection. Think light layers that you can throw on as the sun dips, and versatile staples that'll see their way into your autumn wardrobes too. Clemmie Fieldsend, 35, Fashion Editor 3 If you love pink, then Clemmie has plenty of layers perfect for a garden party Credit: Blouse, £44.99, H&M - BUY NOW Dress, £165, Sister Jane - BUY NOW Bag, £98, Reiss - BUY NOW Shoes, £27.99, Zara - BUY NOW Bracelet, £14, Topshop - BUY NOW I've got a big, family garden party this weekend - think scones, Pimms and rain dodging! This dress from Sister Jane isn't very 'me', but I can appreciate a good thing when I see it, and that made me fall in love with it. The scoop back, the lighter-than-air fabric, the quintessential summery print - it's the perfect dress for such an occasion. Should the weather turn, I'll be taking this H&M blouse with me to wear open as a jacket. The pink hue pairs tonally with the dress, and it's one of those tops you can wear with pretty much anything - even as a cover-up. I've paired the dress with woven flats for a bit of texture, and as I'll only be needing a phone and lippy, an easy phone bag it is - and my Reiss one is my favourite. And I'm thrilled to be re-living the glory days of Freedom at Topshop jewellery via the brand's new website. Even though this gold cuff isn't technically Freedom, I will be calling it so for the nostalgia! Emily Regan, 25, Fashion Assistant 3 Emily's added pops of colour to an otherwise neutral outfit, thanks to this Next cardigan Credit: Vest top, £11.99, Zara - BUY NOW Cardigan, £48, Next - BUY NOW Jorts, £22.99, H&M - BUY NOW Sunglasses, £15.99, Bershka - BUY NOW Sandals, £24, Boohoo - BUY NOW Bag, £38, Topshop - BUY NOW We've been so lucky with the weather this summer and I'm crossing my fingers for another warm bank holiday weekend since I've got a family barbecue planned. I'm loving the jorts trend that has been everywhere - and this pair from H&M is the perfect length for me. They don't overwhelm my frame, which can be a concern when you're petite. I'm also completely obsessed with this cardigan from Next - it's such a brilliant alternative to the House of Sunny versions, but at a much friendlier price point. I'l be keeping it in my bag for when the evening gets cooler. To finish the look, I've styled it with brown platform sandals, classic brown aviator sunglasses and this gorgeous studded bag from the new Topshop relaunch collection. Abby McHale, 31, Deputy Fashion Editor 3 Abby's heading out for a day with her friends in this gorgeous dress from Mango Credit: Dress, £49.99, Mango - BUY NOW Bag, £80, Marks & Spencer - BUY NOW Earrings, £16, Oliver Bonas - BUY NOW Sunglasses, £12.99, Stradivarius - BUY NOW Shoes, £45, Topshop - BUY NOW For the last bank holiday until Christmas (sob!) the weather is looking cautiously optimistic. I'm heading out for a day with the girls, so have opted for an easy, throw-on midi-dress. Brown is set to be big once again this autumn, so I thought I'd hop on board the trend a little early with this dress from Mango. With Topshop's exciting relaunch, I've had my eye on a few pieces - and I love these cow-print heels, as they make a big statement and mean I can leave the rest of my outfit fairly plain. I've completed my look with some gold earrings, sunglasses and a brown suede bag that is perfect as we head into autumn.
