Death Toll of Palestinians rises to 33 amid continued Israeli Aggression Across Gaza

Saba Yemen2 days ago

Gaza – SABA:
The number of Palestinians martyred since early Monday in the Gaza Strip has risen to 33 due to ongoing Israeli attacks across various areas, as part of the genocide campaign launched on October 7, 2023.
In the latest assault, five Palestinians were killed and others injured when Israeli forces bombed a populated house belonging to the Al-Nadeem family in central Gaza City, according to a medical source.
Eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency that several victims remain trapped under the rubble, while civil defense teams are working with extremely limited resources to rescue them.
Earlier, three Palestinians were killed and others wounded when Israel targeted the upper floor of Al-Aisha School, which was sheltering displaced people in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.
The same source reported that the death toll from an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Barsh family home in Jabalia, northern Gaza, has risen from 9 to 16. The bodies of the victims were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza and Al-Baptist Hospital in the east.
Additionally, one Palestinian woman was martyred and others injured in an Israeli strike on the Junaid family home in Jabalia.
Earlier Monday, four Palestinians were martyred and several others wounded in an Israeli airstrike targeting civilians near Abu Sharakh roundabout in northern Gaza.
In central Gaza, one Palestinian was martyred and two others critically injured in an Israeli strike on a municipal vehicle in Al-Bureij. Eyewitnesses said the martyr was a municipal employee. No official statement has been issued by the municipality.
Two fishermen were also injured by Israeli gunfire while working on the Gaza City coast.
At dawn Monday, three Palestinians were martyred by Israeli gunfire while attempting to collect 'aid' near a U.S.-operated distribution center west of Rafah City.
Dozens of others were injured by Israeli gunfire near the same center, which is managed by an American company with Israeli approval.
One Palestinian, injured by Israeli fire while attempting to collect aid west of Rafah, died from his wounds on Sunday, according to the same medical source.
Away from UN and international humanitarian supervision, Israel began on May 27 implementing a controversial aid distribution scheme through the so-called 'Gaza Humanitarian Foundation,' backed by Israeli and American entities.
Distribution occurs in so-called 'buffer zones' in southern Gaza, but the plan appears to be failing due to overwhelming crowds of starving civilians and repeated Israeli gunfire on the gathered crowds, resulting in deaths and injuries.
Since last Tuesday, the total number of victims at these 'aid distribution points' has reached 52 martyrs and 340 injured, with Israeli forces reportedly turning the sites into 'mass killing traps,' according to the Gaza Government Media Office and Health Ministry data as of midday Monday.
Meanwhile, Israel intensified its nighttime air and artillery bombardments on various parts of Gaza, especially in the north and east of Gaza City.
Eyewitnesses reported the continued demolition of residential buildings in eastern Gaza City, northern governorate areas, and east of Khan Younis in the south.
They also confirmed that Israeli forces destroyed 'Al-Ansar Mosque' in Deir al-Balah after targeting it with three missiles.

Wall Resistance: Israel seizes 41 dunams in Ramallah, Beira

Sana'a - Saba: The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission revealed that the Zionist enemy authorities seized 41 dunams of Palestinian land in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate at the beginning of this month, using military orders under the name "seizure orders," to impose new facts on the grounds of security and military purposes. The commission explained in a statement issued on Wednesday that the first order, numbered (T/59/25), targeted 23,834 dunams of land in the villages of Shibtin, Deir Ammar, and Deir Qadis, west of Ramallah, under the pretext of seizing for military purposes. The order aims to seize the aforementioned area with the aim of creating a buffer zone around the "Na'ale" settlement, built on the lands of the aforementioned villages. It indicated that the areas declared for seizure overlap between new areas for the benefit of the military order, while the order allocates areas of seizure under the name of "state lands" for the benefit of the military order, totaling 16,834 dunams of citizens' land. She added: The second order, numbered (T/17/23), targets 12,221 dunams of land in the villages of Deir Ghassaneh and Al-Lubban, northwest of Ramallah, under the pretext of seizing land for military purposes. The order aims to amend a military order issued in 2023 by revoking control over 4,792 dunams and adding a new area of 5,888 dunams to the military order for seizing land. Meanwhile, the order allocates 6,333 dunams, originally declared state land, to complete the scope of the military order, which currently amounts to 12,221 dunams. This is intended to establish a buffer zone around the Beit Aryeh settlement, built on the lands of citizens of the two aforementioned villages. The third order, numbered T/38/25, targeted a total of 4,659 dunams of land in the villages of Shibtin and Deir Qadis, west of the Ramallah Governorate. The purpose was to construct a military road connecting the settlements of Na'ale and Nili, built on private land in the two villages. An analysis of the targeted areas in the military order file indicates that the occupying state allocated an area of one dunam declared as state land for the military order, while 3,654 dunams were added to the aforementioned order. According to data from the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, since the beginning of 2025, the Israeli occupation authorities have issued a total of 19 military orders to seize Palestinian land. Six of these orders resulted in the establishment of buffer zones around settlements. These include: two around the settlements of Nekudim and Efrat in the Gush Etzion settlement bloc, specifically on lands in the Bethlehem Governorate; one around the Avitar outpost in the Nablus Governorate; one around the Havat Gilad outpost on lands in the Qalqilya Governorate; and one around the settlements of Na'aleh and Beit Aryeh in the Ramallah Governorate. The Israeli occupation state has recently intensified the issuance of these types of orders in an attempt to impose new realities on Palestinian lands, represented by the construction of military towers and roads designated for the army and settlers, in addition to the buffer zones around settlements. These military orders serve the interests of settlers and settlements, at the expense of citizens' lands and their ability to lead normal lives. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)

Arab Parliament calls on int'l community to end genocide in Gaza

Cairo - Saba: On Wednesday, the Arab Parliament called on the international community and the Security Council to take urgent and immediate action to halt the genocide in the Gaza Strip, provide international protection for the Palestinian people, support their legitimate struggle to establish their independent, sovereign state, and reject all illegal unilateral measures aimed at changing the geographic and demographic character of the Palestinian territories, particularly in Quds. In a statement marking the 58th anniversary of the June 5, 1967, setback, the Arab Parliament affirmed that this painful event in the history of the Arab nation, which marked a turning point that left deep scars on the conscience of the Arab peoples, embodies the magnitude of the challenges facing the nation in its pursuit of regaining its legitimate rights. The Parliament reiterated its firm affirmation that the Palestinian cause will remain the primary issue of the Arab nation, and that the right path to achieving security, stability, development, and social justice in the region and the world is to resolve the Palestinian issue and ensure that the Palestinian people attain their legitimate rights to freedom, independence, and the establishment of their independent state with Quds as its capital. The Zionist enemy bears full responsibility for the continuation of the conflict in the region, as a result of its aggressive and systematic policies, the genocidal crime it is perpetrating in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Quds, the horrific crimes it is committing against civilians, the policy of starvation and siege, the repeated incursions into Palestinian cities and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the escalation of settlement activity to impose a new reality on the ground that violates international law and UN resolutions. The Arab Parliament affirmed its continued parliamentary and diplomatic efforts in regional and international forums to support the Palestinian cause, expose the enemy's practices, and push for accountability for perpetrators of crimes before international courts. WHO condemns destruction of Kidney Dialysis Center in Northern Gaza by Israeli Forces

Geneva – SABA: The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, on Tuesday condemned the Israeli military's destruction of the Noura Al-Kaabi Dialysis Center in northern Gaza. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Ghebreyesus stated: 'The Noura dialysis center in northern Gaza is now a pile of rubble.' He emphasized that the destruction of this health facility poses a direct threat to the lives of patients suffering from kidney failure. The center had previously provided dialysis services to 40 patients per week before it was leveled. He noted that the WHO had managed to relocate 20 out of the 23 dialysis machines from the center to a safe location prior to the attack. Ghebreyesus renewed his call for a ceasefire and urged immediate protection for all health facilities and medical personnel. In his post, he also shared a before-and-after image comparison—one showing the center as it stood last year, and another depicting it reduced to rubble. Medical sources warned that the destruction of the center puts the health of kidney failure patients in northern Gaza in extreme jeopardy. They reported that 41% of such patients have died amid the ongoing genocide, due to denial of access to dialysis centers and the destruction of facilities dedicated to their care.
