Greensburg Vintage Market returns for second year

CBS News25-03-2025

While the Greensburg Vintage Market may not be as big as its counterpart, the Greensburg Night Market, for Jessica Hickey, the producer of both events, she says the vintage market is the perfect place to get a classic piece of apparel, or vinyl or houseware.
"The Vintage Market is really fun because it brings like a whole new base of customers to a lot of these small businesses," said Hickey. "Sometimes maybe these vendors aren't in the Night Market, or they can't go to it, but here they get to find treasures that they'll never find anywhere else."
This year's vintage market, like last year's, will have between 40 to 60 vendors and this event will be held once a month through October.
While the outdoor vintage markets that start in May are free, the indoor markets like Saturday's in Hempfield Township will have a $5 cover, though students and children under 18 will be free.
One person who is excited for Saturday is Kai from Madison, who says she loves shopping for old things that are new and special to her.
"The things that you can find, it's different," Kai said. "It's unique. It's not like your run of the mill things that you typically see every day. And I love to find things that speak to me and are unique to me. That's the best part about vintage shopping."
And while the Greensburg Vintage Market will be happening on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hempfield Athletic Complex, this Thursday will be the last indoor Greensburg Night Market at the Live! Casino. That event takes place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the casino's second floor.

Salina de la Renta Earns New Title In MLW

Salina de la Renta is one the most popular personas in Major League Wrestling. Her 'father', Cesar Duran, is the President of MLW. Now, he has named her the new Vice President of Wrestler Relations in MLW. Recently, at the MLW War Chamber 2025 special event, the MLW President, Cesar Duran addressed the crowd. He claimed that it is time to take MLW to the next level. In order to do so, he needed someone in his corner that he can trust. Thus he picked his daughter, Salina de la Renta, to be the Vice President of Wrestler Relations. Advertisement 'Azteca Lucha… what a triumph,' proclaimed Durán. 'CMLL hosting a sold out Arena Mexico to MLW selling out Chicago! The world saw exactly what happens when we control the chaos. But now, as President of Major League Wrestling, it's time to take this to the next level. And to do that… I need someone I trust. That's why I'm naming you the new Vice President of Wrestler Relations,' Cesar Duran said. Salina de la Renta replied by saying that, 'Finally the crown fits.' Janai Kai appreciates having Salina de la Renta in MLW WrestleZone recently spoke with Janai Kai about her time in MLW. When she first joined MLW, Kai was aligned with the Promociones Dorado stable led by Salina de la Renta, who also was the Creative Director of the MLW Women's Division at that time. Advertisement 'It's been really great, working with her. When I first came in, she was more like my manager. That's made me actually feel comfortable coming in, so I didn't really feel alone. So, I appreciated her just being there throughout that time. And then obviously, she had a baby and everything. She got pregnant, she just had her baby, but she still keeps an eye on us,' Kai explained. Kai said she benefited a great deal from working with de la Renta. Specifically, Kai appreciates de la Renta being a strong female authority figure who also helped her with many 'wrestling-adjacent' aspects of her career. 'In women's wrestling, we don't really get a lot of that, a female figure to really watch over us in the business or for a lot of shows in general. So, I've really appreciated her with that,' Kai added. 'She is very educated and knowledgable of not only the business, but a lot of other things alongside with it — social Media, PR, and all of that. So, there are certain things that she would mention that were very helpful for me when it came to the marketing and stuff, really showcasing more of that character side.' Kai announced she was leaving MLW in May. Advertisement Read More: Did You Know There's a Luchador-Themed Tequila? More Pro Wrestling: WWE Legend The Undertaker Underwent Surgery After Major Health Scare After defeating Gunther in dramatic fashion at WrestleMania 41, Uso was unable to fend off The Ring General a second time at the June 9, 2025, episode of Monday Night RAW, ending his reign at only 51 days. This shocking loss has caused a massive response from fans and wrestlers alike, with a majority assuming this change was to put a title on Gunther just so he can have one when he faces Goldberg in his upcoming retirement match. Despite this, one WWE Hall of Famer calling for the people booking Uso to be fired altogether. LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - APRIL 21: Jey Uso attends Netflix & WWE "Monday Night RAW" Brunch at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino on April 21, 2025 in Las Vegas, Netflix During an episode of the "Rikishi Fatu Off the Top" podcast, WWE Hall of Famer and Uso's real-life father Rikishi, called out the WWE writers' room, saying that whoever is in charge of the storyline needs to be fired. "Here's what I feel," Rikishi said. "I feel that those are writing for this kid. His storyline, you didn't do him justice. You didn't feed this champion right talent to be able to continue to make this champion. Not a fair shot in my eyes. "So you go 51 days. I say, fire. Fire those who are writing for this kid here. If you can't come up with something simple to promote and push your champion that you, not me, you decide to put this kid in that position. And then that's it. All of a sudden, the brains don't went just cloudy. Rikishi is NOT happy about Jey Uso's run as World Heavyweight Champion and it coming to an end this week. — Wrestle Ops (@WrestleOps) June 13, 2025 "You can't write. You can't think of an angle for Jay. Well, if you can't do your job, I say, best endeavors. Get the hell out the way. Put somebody in that position. "Because the longer you keep the belt on this kid, the longer you... We talk about what's good for business, merchandise sales to the roof. That's what it is. That's what I knew. If you can't make money for the company, why are you in that position?" Rikishi went on to say that he had no ill will for Gunther or anyone else on the roster, but the booking of Jey Uso, especially when he is one of the top merchandise movers in the company and is from a family that has given everything to professional wrestling and WWE. Adam Pearce says Jey Uso is in the King of the Ring Tournament — Fightful Wrestling (@Fightful) June 13, 2025 With the winner receiving an opportunity to challenge a world champion of their choice, this simply makes the World Heavyweight Championship feel like a cheap prop instead of the most important title on RAW. Sadly, this is coming at the expense of Jey Uso, who has naturally gotten incredibly over with the fans only to receive two short singles championship reigns in response. Wale Confronts Kai Cenat After Streamer Doesn't Recognize Him At 2025 BET Awards

Kai Cenat, as usual, brought his beloved 'chat' along for his night out at the 2025 BET Awards, which included his awkward run-in with Wale, as the streamer didn't recognize the DMV-bred MC. Later that evening, the 'Blanco' rapper approached the streaming sensation for the likely unintended swipe. Cenat, 23, first crossed paths with the rapper born Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, 40, in a parking garage servicing the Peacock Theater event, with Wale walking by playing a game on his Nintendo Switch when Cenat greeted him and asked what game he was playing. Wale then kept it pushing as Kai hopped into his vehicle, revealing to his chat that he had no idea who the gentleman was, as he was apparently just being friendly. After fans informed the streamer of who Wale was, he proceeded to mispronounce the rapper's stage name as 'Wally' (wah-lee). 'Wally, oh my god, that was somebody crazy, the whole chat knows him,' he told his crew, with one of his associates correcting Cenat's pronunciation. 'What he do?' Cenat asked, with his friend answering, 'Rap,' name dropping one of Wale's biggest hits, 'Lotus Flower Bomb,' hoping to jog Kai's memory to no avail. With Kai live-streaming the moment, it immediately went viral, resulting in Wale later approaching the Streamer University creator while he attempted to interview BET Awards Honoree Snoop Dogg. 'That sh*t making me look crazy now, just so you know,' the 'No Hands' spitter told Kai. 'That's making me look crazy, the exchange we had in the hallway. I mean, they running with it, but we'll talk later.' Check out the full interaction below. Some observers chopped it up to Kai simply being too young to know Wale's best work, with one fan offering via X, 'Kai is 23, Wale is 40 lmao. Can't be hurt that a mf don't know who you are. Everybody didn't grow up being a 'hip hop' fan.' Another fan wrote, 'Diced Pineapples came out when Kai was 11, he just might not know you g.' Others, however, don't accept that excuse, as Kai is well versed in artists of Wale's same class, such as Drake. 'Kai Cenat really just a jit cus you couldn't have grown up on Drake and J. Cole and not know who Wale was,' offered one observer, with another calling Kai's Hip-Hop credentials into question. 'I'm not the biggest Wale fan. However I do feel like 'How the hell you in this rap culture sh*t And you don't know who wale is at all' You uncultured as a mf lol.' Ironically, Wale's recent visit to The Joe Budden Podcast found him discussing the lack of Hip-Hop knowledge held by popular streamers within the culture. Check out the pod episode below.
