
Iranian Navy Denies Reports of Hijacking Oil Tanker
Tehran – Saba:
The Iranian Navy denied on Thursday reports alleging that it had hijacked a UAE-owned, Panamanian-flagged oil tanker near Iran's Jask port.
In a statement, the Iranian Navy said that the report by the security firm Embry about the ship's hijacking was baseless, stressing that no similar incident had occurred in waters under its jurisdiction.

Settlers attack Palestinian shepherds in Masafer Yatta
Hebron – Saba: Today, Tuesday, a group of settlers attacked Palestinian shepherds in the village of At-Tuwani in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron. Mohammad Rabai, the head of At-Tuwani Village Council, stated that dozens of settlers gathered inside the illegal outpost of "Havat Ma'on," built on Palestinian-owned land, and attempted to assault villagers with stones. Citizen killed in drone attack targeted car in Shabwa
SHABWA, April 12 (YPA) – A citizen was killed, on Saturday evening, when a car was attacked by an unknown drone, near the camp of the UAE-affiliated Second Shabwa Defense Brigade factions in the city of Ataq, the center of Shabwa governorate. Informed local sources reported that the attack at the car led to the charring of the body of a person inside, without revealing his identity, the complete destruction and burning of the car. The sources reported that the drone that targeted the car was likely American, without knowing the identity of the victim, whose body was transferred to the morgue of Ataq General Hospital. The sources suggested that the person, who was killed inside the car, was an Al-Qaeda member, while other sources indicated that the explosion may have been caused by an explosive device planted in the car. Shabwa is witnessing armed tensions between the UAE factions and terrorist elements loyal to the Islah party in a number of districts, including Musayna area in Al-Saeed, south of Ataq.
