Arkleston Road has been closed since June 4 after a lorry crashed into a bridge.
The incident caused major delays on the M8 westbound before the carriageway reopened at 7pm.
Transport Scotland had previously indicated that a closure would be required for six months.
However, the organisation then confirmed on June 18 that it could "reopen one lane and implement a temporary barrier and traffic lights on the overbridge within the next week or so".

Councillor John Shaw has now confirmed that the partial reopening will occur on Friday, June 27.
Writing on social media, he said: "There's been a bit of a wrinkle in the plans to partially reopen the Arkleston Road Bridge tomorrow.
"The Council's Roads team have advised that a temporary speed restriction of 20mph is required on the bridge and to legally enforce this, a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order needs to be in place.
"Unfortunately, that means the partial reopening will now be delayed until Friday."
