Salman Khan Drops A Thirst Trap Pic Amid Praise For Battle Of Galwan First Look
Last Updated: As praise pours in for Battle of Galwan's motion poster, Salman Khan stuns fans with a smouldering new look. 'Old Bhaijaan is back,' says a fan. Salman Khan is basking in fan love for both his upcoming film Battle of Galwan and a dapper new photo he dropped on Instagram. The actor posted a striking new picture on Monday that instantly sent fans into a frenzy. In the image, Salman exudes effortless style in a suede grey jacket with metallic buttons, worn slightly open to reveal a hint of his chiselled chest. Pairing it with black sunglasses and a slicked-back hairstyle, the superstar looked every bit the heartthrob his fans remember. Comments poured in under the post within minutes. 'Epitome of handsomeness," one fan gushed. Another wrote, 'Old Bhaijaan is back," while many dropped fire and heart emojis to celebrate his rugged appearance. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Salman Khan (@beingsalmankhan) The post comes just days after Salman unveiled the motion poster of Battle of Galwan, his much-anticipated patriotic drama. The motion poster, which features him in an intense avatar, has already garnered massive appreciation online. Now, fans are eagerly awaiting the next announcement from the film. According to a report in Bollywood Bubble, Battle of Galwan will go on floors this August. A source revealed that the film's first schedule will be shot in Ladakh, followed by Mumbai and Kashmir. Battle of Galwan is based on the real-life clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Galwan Valley in June 2020. The confrontation, fought without firearms due to existing bilateral agreements, was one of the deadliest border stand-offs in over four decades. Indian soldiers, despite being outnumbered and under-equipped, stood their ground with nothing but sheer grit and improvised weapons. The film, set over 15,000 feet above sea level, aims to capture the bravery, strategy, and endurance of the Indian Army in brutally inhospitable terrain. Meanwhile, Salman Khan has several big-ticket projects lined up. Sequels to Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kick, and Andaz Apna Apna are all reportedly in development. Rumours also suggest he may reunite with Sanjay Dutt for an action-packed film titled Ganga Ram and collaborate once more with Sooraj Barjatya for a family drama. First Published:

After Kareena Kapoor slams Prada, Neena Gupta makes a video to... for copying Kolhapuri chappal design
After Kareena Kapoor, veteran actress Neena Gupta took to social media to call out luxury brand Prada for allegedly copying the traditional Kolhapuri chappal design. It's a traditional footwear from Kolhapur, a city in Maharashtra. Taking to Instagram, the actress posted a video where she flaunted a handmade pair of Kolhapuris gifted to her by the late Laxmikant Berde. How did Neena Gupta mock the Prada brand? In the clip, Gupta could be heard saying, 'So, these Kolhapur slippers are in great demand these days. So, once I did something with Laxmikant Berde. I don't remember what it was. So, I asked him, can you get me these slippers from Kolhapur? He said, yes. So, he got them for me. This is the most beautiful slippers I have ever had. Most beautiful and handmade. I love them. Thank you Laxmikant. You are not there anymore, but love you.' She simply captioned the video, 'Real is real.' In the clip, Neena Gupta is seen walking while wearing Kolhapuri chappals. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Neena Gupta (@neena_gupta) What did Kareena Kapoor Khan do with her Kolhapuri chappals? On July 6, Kareena Kapoor took to social media to call out luxury fashion brand Prada. She shared a photo of herself wearing her original Kolhapuri chappals, subtly taking a dig at the brand. Posting the image on her Instagram Stories, Bebo flaunted the footwear and captioned it, 'Sorry not Prada…but my OG Kolhapuri.' Prada recently faced backlash for showcasing a pair of sandals that looked very similar to India's traditional Kolhapuri chappals without giving proper credit to their Indian origin. The luxury brand introduced the sandals as 'Toe Ring Sandals' during their Men's Spring/Summer 2026 fashion show in Milan on June 22. Many noticed that the design was almost identical to Kolhapuri chappals, but Prada presented it under its own label without clearly acknowledging the Indian roots of the design. Following this, a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) was filed in the Bombay High Court. The petition demanded compensation for the Indian artisans who make Kolhapuri chappals, claiming their designs were copied without recognition.

Metro In Dino Day 4 India Box Office: Anurag Basu's movie holds BUT at very low levels on 1st Monday; Nets Rs 2.40 crore
Anurag Basu's Metro… In Dino has earned Rs 2.25-2.50 crore net on its first Monday at the Indian box office. This reflects a reasonable 70 percent hold from its opening day collection of Rs 3.25 crore. The film's opening weekend totaled Rs 15.75 crore, with day-wise collections of Rs 3.25 crore on Friday, Rs 5.75 crore on Saturday, and Rs 6.75 crore on Sunday. While the Monday hold of Anurag Basu ' film in percentage terms is solid, the low numbers suggest the film will struggle to make a significant impact, especially with new releases set to flood theatres. The Day Wise Net India Collections Of Dino Are As Under Dino Has Positive Word Of Mouth Going By The Hold; But Collections Remain Underwhelming The film, a spiritual sequel to 2007's Life… In A Metro, features a stellar cast including Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. It explores modern relationships in urban settings. Despite positive reviews, its box office performance remains underwhelming. The film has performed best in urban centers like Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, and Delhi. However, unlike its predecessor, the film's music has failed to become as big as its predicessor, despite being really soothing to the ears. A hit soundtrack could have pushed the opening weekend closer to Rs 25 crore, with lifetime collections having a chance to go past Rs 50 crore. Dino's Box Office Trend Suggests A Finish In The Rs 30-35 Crore Net Range With new releases arriving this Friday, Metro… In Dino's screen count and showtimes will shrink, in turn hampering its run. The film's total cost, including production and marketing, is estimated at Rs 100 crore, with Rs 70 crore already recovered through non-theatrical deals. To break even, it needs at least Rs 55 crore net in India. Current trends suggest lifetime collections of Rs 30-35 crore; a number well short of the target. Better Opening Could Have Done Dino A Big Favour The 70 percent Monday hold is encouraging, showing some audience loyalty in urban markets. Yet, the low absolute numbers and looming competition make a robust box office run unlikely. Dino needed a stronger opening to leverage its positive word-of-mouth. As it stands, the film's theatrical performance may not cover its remaining costs, marking a financial loss to the film's makers. Dino In Theatres Dino plays in theatres. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more such box office updates.
