Megan Young cries tears of happiness after giving birth: 'I'm a mom!'
Megan Young and Mikael Daez shared a vlog of their birth story, and it was full of tears.
When she was at 39 weeks and waiting for the baby to come, Megan expressed eagerness to "give birth already."
Finally, after 40 weeks, it was time for Megan to give birth.
"I feel like this is a dream. I feel like everything is happening so quickly," she said.
The actress and beauty queen likened it to the final day of Miss World 2013, which she won.
"Parang chill lang, relax lang, tapos all of a sudden tapos na. So I feel like ganon din ang mangyayari dito when I give birth," she said.
Their baby, Leon, arrived after almost a 20-hour labor.
While breastfeeding him, Megan was in disbelief about her new reality.
"Oh my gosh, I'm breastfeeding, I can't believe I'm doing this, this is insane," she said.
After the first day as parents, Megan said that she is full of emotions, including, "happiness, excitement, and so much love."
"I keep saying it's so fun," she added. "It's so hard but it's so fun because I've never experienced anything like this obviously, as a first time mom. It's so new to me."
The new family eventually settled back at home.
Mikael said that everyone has been emotional in the house, even Megan's mother.
Megan also burst into tears, saying, "I'm so happy."
"Everything is starting to sink in already," she added. "I'm a mom!"
