Watch the awkward moment US sprinter has a wardrobe malfunction... but still manages to save first place

Daily Mail6 hours ago

In competitive running, a wardrobe malfunction is typically a devastating occurrence which has caused athletes to lose races altogether.
But American Chris Robinson was able to overcome a truly embarrassing clothing failure to win a 400m hurdles event at the Ostrava Golden Spike meet in Czechia.
While running the event, Robinson's shorts were not able to keep his genitals from being exposed to all those watching.
He made multiple attempts to adjust his shorts to try and prevent any further embarrassment to himself.
But eventually, he gave up his attempts to keep himself covered and focused on finishing the race.
As he crossed the line in first place, Robinson rolled into a somersault and laid on the track with a smile at his result.
The time of 48.05 seconds was just one-tenth of a second off of his personal best, and stood as his best time of the season.
Robinson beat out Brazilian hurdler Matheus Lima by just six hundredths of a second.
Third place was Czech native Vit Muller, who ran a time of 48.41 seconds in his home nation.
He crossed the line six hundredths of a second ahead of Brazilian Matheus Lima at the World Athletics Continental Tour Gold event, while Czech Vit Muller (48.41) was third.
Earlier this year, Robinson was part of a team that won gold in the 4x400m mixed relay at the 2025 World Relay Championships in Guangzhou.

Fans convinced Chelsea have ‘scammed their way to Club World Cup final' after Harry Kane's horror last second miss

CHELSEA fans believe the team have "scammed their way" to the Club World Cup final after Harry Kane's horror miss for Bayern Munich. The England captain squandered a brilliant chance to salvage a draw for the Bundesliga giants against Benfica. 3 Kane, 31, headed wide from just a couple of yards out in the 98th minute of the clash at the Bank of America Stadium. Bayern, therefore, lost the tie as Benfica's Andreas Schjelderup's 13th-minute strike would be all that separated the two teams. The win for the Portuguese side saw them claim top spot in Group C while Kane and co had to settle for second place. As a result, this means that Benfica will play Chelsea in the last 16 while Bayern will play Flamengo. The Blues have been drawn against Benfica as they finished second behind the Brazilian outfit in Group D. Chelsea supporters now feel as though they have a much more favourable route to the final. One posted: "How have we scammed our way to the final?" A third wrote: "The best route for the Blues. A fourth said: "Our path to the semi-final is now Benfica and then either Palmeiras or Botafogo. Tunis 0 Chelsea 3: Liam Delap fires listless Blues into last-16 clash with Benfica at Club World Cup "We've escaped both PSG and Bayern. We've got Delap and a star-studded squad." Another added: "Thank you Flamengo for beating us." Should they get past Benfica, they would then face either Palmeiras or Botafogo. If they had been on the other side of the draw, then they could have come up against either Champions League winners PSG or Lionel Messi 's Inter Miami. Chelsea could then face much tougher opposition in the semi-final with the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester City and Juventus potential opponents. Or if there are some shocks along the road, then the West London side could face Argentine outfit River Plate or even South African darlings Mamelodi Sundowns. Chelsea won their final game of the group stage 3-0 against Tunisian side Espérance Sportive de Tunis.

Man United 'set to hold talks with European giants' TODAY over Jadon Sancho deal - as Red Devils try to move on outcast this summer

Manchester United are reportedly set to discuss Jadon Sancho 's future with a major European club. The Red Devils are looking to offload Sancho after Chelsea paid a £5million fee at the end of his loan to escape their £25m obligation to sign him. Sancho has not played for United in the Premier League since August 2023 after an explosive falling-out with then-manager Erik Ten Hag. The Sun reported on Tuesday how Jose Mourinho is willing to offer the 25-year-old a lifeline at Fenerbahce. But it now appears that an even bigger fish has entered the pond, with Juventus set to hold a video call with United over Sancho on Wednesday, as per Gianluca Di Marzio. Sancho's £250,000-per-week pay packet could be a stumbling block and United had to pay around £100,000 of that when he joined Borussia Dortmund on loan in 2023-24. The former England star had hoped to reboot his career in London after falling out of favour at United due to his clash with Ten Hag. Ten Hag had criticised Sancho's performances in training after he was left out of a squad to face Arsenal in 2023, with the player branding the words 'completely untrue' in a social media post that was later deleted. But Sancho struggled for consistency over the 2024-25 season, though did score in the Conference League final against Real Betis, which Chelsea won 4-1. That said, he did become a popular player within the Chelsea changing room and did himself more favours than if he had stayed on the sidelines at Old Trafford. Sancho had flashes of brilliance for Enzo Maresca's side - fans even sang his name as he came off the bench to set up the winner against Bournemouth in September. For the 23-time England international, this was a move to the club he had supported as a child and a chance to rebuild his reputation after a middling spell at United. United signed Sancho for £73m in 2021 after being impressed by his scintillating form at Borussia Dortmund, but he never reached the heights he had in Germany. Sancho proved has still has quality in his locker at Chelsea, as seen in his daring run and stunning finish from outside the box against Tottenham in December. Podcast All episodes But he was ultimately unable to bring end product on a consistent basis, scoring five and assisting 10 in 42 games across all competitions. Sancho's contract with United runs until 2026 and includes the option of a further year. Ruben Amorim's system does not accommodate wingers and therefore it is likely to see him getting squeezed out.
