Julia Morris exposes disturbing interview where she was groped on live TV a week after suffering miscarriage: 'You didn't have a voice'
The veteran presenter, 57, shared footage to social media of the disturbing incident, which saw Norwegian rocker Åge Sten 'Glam' Nilsen touch and kiss her without permission during an interview.
The footage, filmed backstage in Kyiv while she was hosting Eurovision coverage for the BBC, shows Glam, from the metal band Wig Wam, entering the frame with a lit cigarette, before climbing on top of Morris as she sits on a couch.
'Oh my God, what a lovely surprise!' Morris said in her signature upbeat tone as Glam proceeded to straddle her and cradle her face.
The situation escalated as Glam kissed her on the cheek, put his arm around her, stroked her leg and, at one point, touched her chest - all while she remained visibly composed.

Morris captioned the footage with some shocking words: 'Eurovision 2005, Kyiv. BBC. What a treat to turn up to work and be touched and disrespected by an all time f***wit.
'Looking like I'm having fun is part of my job, but my not flinching is how common this behaviour was. I had a miscarriage the week before this, so being SA'd [sexually assaulted] live on tele was all I needed.'
She later told News.com.au that she felt she had to maintain an upbeat demeanour as part of her presenter role during the shocking incident.
'What's really spooky is, I don't even flinch. I suppose as a stand-up comedian, reading a room and adjusting is [the role]. I mean, what was I supposed to do?' Morris said.
She added that she was going through a particularly difficult time during the incident which left her feeling vulnerable.
'I was trying to make sure my pad didn't move, because I had a miscarriage the week before,' she said.
'I had to have a massive f***ing pad. I mean, enormous.
'And so, when old mate jumped on top of me, all I was thinking was, "My god, he's going to squeeze it [the pad] out the back." And all the while he is touching up my t*ts... And I was getting in trouble from the producers.'
She said there was now more awareness about how unacceptable this kind of behaviour was following the #MeToo movement, but revealed that back then it was not acceptable to speak out.
'You didn't have a voice. You certainly don't have a choice of "Don't speak to me like that",' she explained.
''A lot of young people now are like, "We're the first to speak up about this." And it's like, "No, we all tried, we just got fired".'
Daily Mail has approached Nilsen for comment.
In 2022, Glam's band Wig Wam reflected on the incident on Facebook, and wrote how 'safe' their singer had made Morris feel.
Alongside a photo of Glam touching Morris' leg, the band wrote some revealing words: 'The first time Wig Wam was interviewed on BBC the singer was brought back to London for an interview about the interview...
'This time the host was safer than Julia Morris was in Kyiv 2005.'
Many of Morris' celebrity friends took to the comments section to share their shock over the footage.
'Absolutely gobsmacked,' wrote fellow presenter Ricki-Lee Coulter.

Back at the beginning of May, James told viewers that his condition had worsened, treatment was no longer working and he would "be lucky to make it to Christmas". He explained: "I'm at the end of my cancer journey. There is no treatment I can have anymore." That same month, James celebrated his 74th birthday with loved ones. It comes after he spent Christmas in intensive care before being discharged from the ICU on December 30. "This time he tried with a bout of Influenza A, but without success." After battling kidney cancer in 2000, James launched the charity Kidney Cancer UK to increase knowledge and awareness, funding research into the causes, prevention and treatment of the disease. He had fathered two kids with Melinda Maxted, James and Peter, before she herself was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. Melinda died in May 2018, just three months after James made the announcement of her diagnosis. In 2020, James revealed the disease had returned and spread to his spine, brain and lungs, and has shared his ongoing cancer battle candidly with listeners and viewers over the past few years. A year later, on his 70th birthday, James announced his engagement to Nadine Lamont-Brown, before marrying her in October of that year. 5

TV series 'Wednesday' returns with family and female-focused Season Two
LONDON, Aug 4 (Reuters) - Actress Jenna Ortega and the creators of the hit Netflix series "Wednesday" are hoping to surpass expectations as the show returns to screens after almost three years. The dark fantasy series' first season, which premiered in November 2022, ranks as Netflix's most popular English-language show of all time, with more than 252 million views in the first 91 days of release. As well as reprising the titular role, Ortega, 22, took on executive producer duties for the new season. Filmmaker Tim Burton also returns as one of the directors and executive producers. "I've always been very protective of the character. I just want to make sure that we're always doing her justice," said Ortega. "It's the most we've ever seen her on screen so there's a lot of room and opportunity to maybe go off track. "Fortunately we have a really great creative team. I'm doing my best to be on it, but you also have people like Tim, who are monitoring." The second season sees Wednesday returning to Nevermore Academy as a celebrated hero, much to her dismay. She investigates new supernatural mysteries, while dealing with glitches in her psychic powers. Wednesday also faces another nuisance - family. Her little brother Pugsley starts his studies at Nevermore and their parents are a frequent presence on campus. Bringing the Addams Family to the academy allowed co-creators and showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar to expand the storylines of the characters introduced in the first season and explore mother-daughter dynamics. "We thought, wouldn't that be, for Wednesday, the ultimate thorn in her side if Morticia (her mother) came to school," said Millar. Catherine Zeta-Jones, who plays Morticia, promised fast-paced scenes between the two. "It's a dance and a play of emotions," Zeta-Jones said. The season's focus on female relationships stood out as one of its stronger points for Ortega. "We're so oftentimes taught to compete against one another and there's always some sort of comparing game that people are going to enforce on you," Ortega said. "What I love about the women I am working with and the characters, every woman in this show wants to see the other succeed. I think that's really important for young people to see today," she added. The sophomore season also introduces new characters, including Steve Buscemi's Nevermore principal Barry Dort and the Addams family matriarch Grandmama Hester Frump, played by Joanna Lumley. Pop star Lady Gaga makes a guest star appearance as a teacher in Part 2. "Wednesday" has already been renewed for a third season, with Gough and Millar in the writers' room "cooking that up" and ready to go beyond. "We have goalposts for other things. There could be spinoffs, there could be other iterations of the show," Millar said. "It's such a big world. We are excited to explore it as much as we can." "Wednesday" Season Two will be released in two four-episode installments, with Part One dropping August 6 and Part Two out on September 3.
