Police are appealing for information after a man was fatally hit by a car in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Reports were received just before 1am on Saturday morning that a red 2016 Volkswagen Golf hatchback collided with a 30-year-old male pedestrian on Marmion Avenue in Butler.
The man sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
Police say the 19-year-old man who was driving the hatchback has been assisting with inquiries.
Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information on the crash urging anyone who saw the crash or has any information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
CCTV, dash-cam and mobile phone vision of the area at the time can also be uploaded online.
