NSYNC's Joey Fatone and Lance Bass are ready for it.
Every year, right about this time, toward the end of April, they know it's coming. It being the onslaught of 'It's Gonna Be May' memes.
'I think every time May comes around, it becomes this meme and it's been embellished over the years and even kids who might not know about it, they're saying, 'It's Gonna Be May,'' Fatone told the USA Today Network.
It was 25 years ago when Fatone, Bass and the rest of NSYNC, Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chavez and Justin Timberlake, released the song 'It's Gonna Be Me.' Timberlake, who sang the title line of the song pronounced "me" as "may" and from there, hundreds of memes were born and continue to be rereleased each year at the end of April.
'I cannot believe 'It's Gonna Be May' is still going,' Bass said. 'I mean it's 25 years old. It's kept alive by this one day a year, April 30. Thanks to Justin for being able to pronounce me may.'
The two bandmates are embracing the longevity of the song, and the memes.
They teamed up with Great Wolf Lodge for a May promotion at the indoor water park, which has 23 locations throughout the United States and Canada. Its newest location in Connecticut opened April 25.
The only Florida location, in Naples, opened in September 2024. That's where Fatone and Bass teamed up to tape the promotional video one March evening. Fatone was on break from playing a lead role in the Broadway show '&Juliet.' His current stint runs through the end of July.
Last year Fatone did a similar promotion with Great Wolf Lodge. This year Bass joined him, but it wasn't just Bass. He also brought his family, which includes his young twins.
'They're 3, so they are old enough to enjoy water parks and they've been really, really enjoying it,' Bass said. 'They wanted the tallest, the fastest, nothing scares them.'
The married dad said he's taken the last few years off work to focus on parenthood, and will begin work on a film in the fall.
'I'm really enjoying being a dad,' Bass said. 'I took a couple years off and just wanted to be really present as a dad. Those first few years are really impactful, and I want them to know I was there and I tucked them in bed every night and woke them up every morning.'

Founded in 1997, Great Wolf Lodge began in Wisconsin as a small indoor water park called Black Wolf Lodge.
Each location might have some different activities, but they are all known for having a massive indoor water park complete with numerous slides, lazy river and wave pool. Some also have outdoor swimming pools.
Resorts included hotel rooms of various sizes, as well as on-site dining and other activities like an arcade, bowling and a ropes courses. The properties also are known for their inviting lobbies where staff, including the Great Wolf Lodge mascots, put on shows and interact with guests.
Another popular aspect to the lodge is an interactive scavenger hunt where guests use a wand throughout the resort.

Beyoncé fans react to dance captain's absence during London concert: 'Where is Amari?'

Beyoncé fans react to dance captain's absence during London concert: 'Where is Amari?' Beyoncé Knowles-Carter lit up the stage for the second night of her "Cowboy Carter" tour in London, and while fans were thrilled to see Les Twins dancing once again, many pointed out one familiar face was missing. The Grammy-winning singer took the stage June 7 for her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. During the electric performance many fans noticed that Amari "Monster" Marshall, dubbed Beyoncé's dance captain, was not among the performers onstage. One fan wrote, "What happened to Amari," and many others cosigned. Marshall began working with Beyoncé during her iconic 2018 Coachella "Beychella" performances. She eventually assumed the role of dance co-captain on the "Renaissance World Tour," where she played a key part in mentoring Beyoncé's then 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy during her stage debut. Beyoncé publicly praised Marshall for her guidance with the family dubbing her Blue's 'dance stage momma." She also took the stage with Bey during her 2024 Christmas Day NFL halftime show during the Texans-Ravens game. Marshall has continued performing with Beyoncé as dance captain on the "Cowboy Carter" tour, often sharing photos from various tour stops. However, she appeared to be absent from the stage in London, and fans especially noticed during Saturday night's show. It's not yet clear why Marshall didn't appear onstage or if she'll be making a return soon. The concert marked Beyoncé's second of six shows at the stadium. She is set to hit the stage again June 10, 12, 14 and 16, before heading to Paris for three fans know, Beyoncé first debuted her "Cowboy Carter" tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28 with 39 songs on the set list. Her shows have been filled with family, fashion, different music genres, and most notably country music and cultural commentary. Of course, Beyoncé first released the 27-track project in March 2024. It has since made history and broken multiple records. As Beyoncé's first country album, she deliberately featured country legends and emerging Black country artists alike. She became the first Black woman to win best country album at the 2025 Grammys and also took home album of the year. ‘Duck Dynasty' star Miss Kay Robertson is ‘not in the best of health' after husband's death, son says

(NEXSTAR) – 'Duck Dynasty' star Miss Kay Robertson, the wife of the late Phil Robertson and the matriarch of the 'Duck Dynasty' family, is suffering from poor health in the wake of her husband's passing last month, her son has revealed. Willie Robertson broke the news in an interview with the USA Today Network earlier this week, saying his mother 'is not in the best of health.' 'We're trying to help her out as much as we can,' Willie Robertson said. Pop singer reveals breast cancer diagnosis: 'Sucks' As noted by USA Today, the Robertson family had discussed Kay Robertson's health issues in recent months, including during an April episode of the 'Unashamed' podcast. 'Tell you the truth, it hasn't been good,' Jase Robertson said at the time, discussing his parents' health issues. 'But for my mom, it's been a lot better in the past week, because she was really not doing good. She got an infection from a fall from a cut that had happened earlier. Jase Robertson added that his mother was hospitalized and undergoing rehab at the time, and struggling to eat on her own, which forced him to think that 'maybe this is it.' Speaking with TV Insider, Korie Robertson (Willie Robertson's wife) said her mother-in-law had been 'struggling with a lot of falls.' 'I think she forgets that she can't really walk, so she'll fall, and that's been hard to deal with,' she told the outlet. She's also suffering from what Willie Robertson called 'depression' after the loss of her husband in late May. 'She lost her partner of 60 years,' Willie Robertson told USA Today. Man in LA hospital remains unidentified after nearly 2 weeks The family is currently appearing in a revival of the 'Duck Dynasty' series on A&E, fittingly titled 'Duck Dynasty: The Revival,' which follows the younger Robertson generation and the family's Duck Commander recreation and hunting-gear company. ‘Duck Dynasty' star Miss Kay's health declines following husband Phil Robertson's death

Miss Kay Robertson, the beloved matriarch of the 'Duck Dynasty' clan, is facing a difficult chapter marked by grief and declining health. 'Kay is not in the best of health,' her son Willie told USA TODAY Network. 'We're trying to help her out as much as we can.' The 77-year-old was noticeably absent from the 'Duck Dynasty: The Revival' premiere party on June 1, hosted in Monroe, Louisiana. The news of Robertson's declining health comes after she endured the tragic loss of her husband. Phil Robertson died on May 25 after suffering from Alzheimer's. He was 79. 'Some of it is, she is just depressed,' Willie remarked. 'She lost her partner of 60 years.' Her son continued to share that Kay made appearances in early episodes of the 'Duck Dynasty' reboot. However, her declining health prevented her from filming and being featured in later episodes. Kay's health issues first came to light in April, when her son Jase Robertson shared on the podcast 'Unashamed with the Robertson Family' that she had suffered a fall and developed an infection that required hospitalization. Jase said, 'We were kind of dealing with the fact that maybe this is it.' Reps for the Robertsons did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment. 3 Miss Kay Robertson is 'not in the best of health' following the death of her husband. 'My mom is not doing great physically,' Jase said on the family podcast back in April. 'She has to have pretty much 24/7 professional healthcare.' Phil, at the time, said that their children's presence was helping her. 'But my dad [said] it's like, 'You're helping her morale.' She's helping his morale.' While their mother spent time in a health facility, Jase explained that family and friends had been visiting, with Kay's visitors dubbed 'Kay's Kingdom.' 3 The widow's husband, Phil Robertson, died on May 25th after suffering from Alzheimer's. Phil Robertson / Facebook Last month, Willie remembered his late father through faith and their final moments together. Willie, who starred in the hit A&E reality series for five years, from 2012 to 2017, took to social media to mourn the loss of his legendary father following his death. 'I remember Phil's many prayers on Memorial Day and all the times with my dad. I don't have enough words to tell of all of it, perhaps it will take months or years of remembering,' he wrote in part on Instagram. 'Most importantly, he taught me the value of sharing my faith with others. He was the Real Deal, the same on Sundays as Fridays. Most of our conversations were not about hunting or business, but about sharing the Gospel.' 3 The reality television star did not attend the 'Duck Dynasty: The Revival' premiere party on June 1. Art Streiber Phil, famous for launching the Duck Commander hunting company that became the focus of his A&E show, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in December 2024. His son concluded his heartfelt tribute and wrote, 'Phil, I love you and already miss you. Thank you for raising me the right way and teaching me the most important lesson to prepare me for the day you passed on. Not sure how people deal with loss without the Lord. We may be wrong about all this….but I doubt it! Sleep well Dad, can't wait to see you.' A&E announced earlier this year that the hit show would be revived eight years after it aired its final episode. 'Duck Dynasty: The Revival' focuses on Willie; his wife; their adult children, John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella and Rebecca; and their grandchildren, according to a synopsis. The original 'Duck Dynasty' aired for 11 seasons from 2012-17. Per A&E, the show peaked at 11.8 million viewers.
