Scotland slumped to a disappointing 97-run defeat by the United Arab Emirates, damaging their faltering defence of the World Cup League 2 crown. It is just a third win from 14 competition outings for UAE, while Scotland sit mid-table with seven victories from their 13 matches.With the Netherlands hosting this tri-nation sequence, Scotland meet the hosts next on Saturday.

Scott McTominay and Kieran Tierney have dropped out of the Scotland squad for the game against Liechtenstein. The pair picked up injuries in the 3-1 defeat to Iceland at Hampden on Friday night. As a result, they haven't made the trip to Vaduz where the national team are in action on Monday. Steve Clarke has also called goalkeepers Ross Doohan and Callan McKenna after losing Angus Gunn and Robby McCrorie.
