Black Myth: Wukong is getting an Xbox port on August 20
The action role-playing game is inspired by the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West , adapting its universe, as well as its characters and their backstories. You'll take control of a monkey protagonist based on the novel's main character, Sun Wukong, who uses a staff as a weapon. The staff shrinks and extends in combat and has several possible techniques that provide you a variety of moves to choose from. It's considered as China's first true AAA game and broke Steam's concurrent players record for a single-player title just a few hours after it became available.
In addition to announcing that the Xbox version of the game is coming out in August, Game Science has also launched a promotion for all platforms. Starting on June 17 at 12PM until July 2 at 12PM Eastern time, the standard and Deluxe PS5 editions of the game will be 20 percent off at $48 and $56, respectively. The PC version will be priced the same, though the sale will begin on June 19, 1PM and end on July 10, 1PM Eastern time on Steam, WeGame and the Epic Games Store.

Is Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater cross-platform?
The original Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is one of the best PS2 games of all time. Being the earliest game in the Metal Gear timeline, it is also the perfect game to get a remake for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC with a revived Fox Hunt multiplayer mode. The main draw of the game is still the epic stealth-action single player campaign, but the unique hide-and-seek-based gameplay of Fox Hunt garnered a cult following back in the day and has a great chance of being an even bigger hit with this remake. But aside from learning when we can start playing that multiplayer mode, the big question is whether or not Metal Gear Solid Delta will have cross-platform support. We know there are differences between the versions, so let's see what we know about crossplay so far. Is Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater cross-platform? In a worrying move, Konami has yet to make any statements about whether or not Metal Gear Solid Delta will have cross-platform support as of the time of this writing. All we know is that it is indeed coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC and that there will be a new online mode. While the situation is far different now, the last Metal Gear game released, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, also did not have crossplay support back in 2015. While not unheard of, it was still odd even back then to not include it. Recommended Videos Being a remake and developed by a different team a decade later, I hope that cross-platform play is included but can't say with certainty it will be. I suspect we will learn the truth once we know for sure when the online mode will launch. When will Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater's online mode launch? Just as important as knowing whether the game will be cross-platform is knowing when the online mode will launch. The base game will be out on August 28, but according to the official Konami website, Fox Hunt is currently scheduled for 'fall 2025.' That timeframe could theoretically be any time between September and November so I will keep my ears open and update you as soon as we get a firm launch date.

Taylor Swift announces new album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl'
Taylor Swift announced Tuesday she's dropping a new album: 'The Life of a Showgirl.' The surprise announcement of the Grammy-winner's 12th original studio album came in dramatic fashion, as a countdown clock on her website ticked down to 12:12 a.m. Eastern. In a video posted on Instagram, giving a sneak peek of Swift's upcoming appearance on Travis Kelce's 'New Heights' podcast, co-hosted with his brother Jason Kelce, Swift pulled out a mint green briefcase with her initials 'TS' written in orange, saying: 'This is my brand new album.' She did not say when the album would be released or any other information about it. Fans will have to wait a little longer to see and hear more when her much-awaited podcast appearance on 'New Heights' releases Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET. No stranger to including 'Easter eggs' or hidden clues in the lead up to her releases, Swift set off a frenzy of speculation Monday after a carousel of 12 photos was posted on her Instagram. 'Thinking about when she said 'See you next era…,'' the caption said. The surprise announcement coincided with a reveal Monday night that Swift would join Travis Kelce, her boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs football player, and his brother for an episode of 'New Heights' after teasing that a 'VERY special' guest was joining Wednesday's episode. This is Swift's first new album since concluding her record-breaking Eras Tour in December. It's available for pre-order on Swift's official website in physical vinyl, cassette and CD format. The most recent studio album Swift released was 'The Tortured Poets Department,' a 31-song double album that she announced in 2024 amid the Eras Tour and revamped her set list midway through to add songs from. 'The Life of a Showgirl' will be her first release since becoming the proud owner of her entire catalog of music, roughly six years after she protested the sale of her master recordings by her former record label. She purchased her music 'outright with no strings attached, no partnership, full autonomy,' from Shamrock Capital, a private equity company that had acquired her master recordings, she announced in May. 'To say this is my greatest dream come true is actually being pretty reserved about it,' Swift wrote, adding that she was able to 'buy back' her music from Shamrock following the success of the Eras Tour. The sale of the master recordings of Swift's first six albums to producer Scooter Braun's Ithaca Holdings in 2019 was contentious, with Swift alleging she was blindsided and not given the opportunity to buy her catalog at the time. Braun maintained her team was aware of a pending deal in advance. It prompted the singer to take back ownership of her music in her own way by pledging to re-record the albums. She went on to release what she called 'Taylor's Version' albums for 'Red,' 'Speak Now,' 'Fearless' and '1989.' With each 'Taylor's Version' album, she's included a number of previously unreleased songs she coined 'from the vault.' This story has been updated with additional information.
