KUWAIT CITY, April 21: The country is expected to experience scattered rain today, which may be accompanied by thunderstorms, dusty winds, and reduced horizontal visibility, especially in open areas and at sea, warned Director of the Meteorological Department Dirar Al-Ali.
In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Al-Ali said the current weather conditions fall within the seasonal transitional period, locally known as Sarrayat, characterized by rapid atmospheric changes and instability. He noted that the unsettled weather is likely to persist intermittently until Tuesday morning.

A close conjunction between the moon and Saturn is expected on June 19, when the two will be approximately 23 degrees apart. At that time, the moon will be 23 days old. June 21 marks the summer solstice—the longest day of the year—when the sun reaches its highest point in the sky. This day also signals the official start of summer in the northern hemisphere.
