According to distributor Prathyangira Cinemas, Kubera minted a solid USD 505,468 from its premiere shows alone in North America. The film opened across hundreds of locations on June 20, with fans of Dhanush, Nagarjuna and Telugu cinema turning up in large numbers for the early screenings. The strong advance bookings had already hinted at a promising start, and the premiere numbers confirmed that the film had lived up to expectations.
But the momentum didn't stop there. As of 9:15 AM IST on its opening day, Kubera had added another USD 400K from early Day 1 shows across North America. This takes the film's total North America gross to over USD 900K ( Rs 7.80 crore) within a very short span, putting it well on track to breach the coveted USD 1 million mark by the end of its first day.
This performance is particularly significant for Dhanush, who enjoys a loyal fan following in the overseas market.

Kuberaa marks his most substantial North American start to date, bolstered by the presence of Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna, both of whom are popular names in the Telugu diaspora.
Trade analysts predict that if this momentum holds through the evening and weekend shows, Kubera could easily secure a position among the top-grossing South Indian films in North America for 2025. The positive word-of-mouth and solid early audience feedback suggest that the film is not just a star vehicle, but a well-received entertainer across markets.
With over USD 900K already in the bag, Kuberaa is proving to be a major overseas winner for Dhanush and the team. Dhanush is all set to retrun to Hindi cinema with
Aanand L Rai
after Raanjhana and Atrangi Re. The film has been titled Tere Ishk Mein where
Kriti Sanon
is paired opposite him.

6 side activities that could make GTA 6 insanely replayable

(Image via Rockstar Games) GTA 6 is shaping up to be the most ambitious entry in Rockstar's legendary series — and with the vast state of Leonida to explore, there's one thing every fan wants: replayability. Main story missions? Great. But what really makes a GTA game iconic are the random things you can do when you're not saving (or destroying) the world. So here are 6 side activities Rockstar could pack into GTA 6 to keep players hooked long after the credits roll. 1. Drug Dealing Jason and Lucia are clearly tied to the underworld, and GTA has flirted with drug dealing in the past. But imagine a full-on, evolving mini-economy—like managing supply chains, avoiding feds, striking deals with shady dealers. Think Breaking Bad meets GTA . Every region could have different rules, risks, and rewards. Not just sell-and-run— build an empire. GTA 6 To Feature A Rap Group That Looks A Lot Like The City Girls 2. Rap Battles & Music Production With Real Dimez and Only Raw Records part of the world, Rockstar has to lean into this. How cool would it be to spit bars in underground rap battles or produce viral tracks in a mini music-making sim? Custom beats, lyric choices, and performing at clubs could become a whole vibe. Let players live the hip-hop hustle. 3. Extreme Sports Challenges Vice City's beaches + Mount Kalaga's wilderness = a playground for adrenaline junkies. Picture dirt bike races through wetlands, base jumps off towers, illegal jet ski courses, or even wingsuit flying. Add leaderboards or online challenges, and this becomes a TikTok-worthy flex spot. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch vàng CFDs với sàn môi giới tin cậy IC Markets Tìm hiểu thêm Undo 4. Social Media Clout Missions We're in 2026—of course clout is currency. Let players grow fake IG/TikTok-like followings through viral stunts, live-streamed crimes, or wild moments captured in-game. Maybe going viral unlocks exclusive brand deals or side gigs. It's GTA meets influencer culture—and it could be hilarious . Things We NEED In GTA VI.. 5. Vice City Property Flipping GTA 6 could bring back property management — but with style. Buy cheap motels in Port Gellhorn, renovate strip clubs in Little Haiti, or run shady Airbnbs in the Keys. Stack cash, upgrade properties, and deal with… unusual tenants. It's a chill grind with big-time returns. 6. Vice City's Underground Fight Clubs Lucia's trained to fight. So where's the underground scene? Picture illegal fight clubs under strip clubs or abandoned warehouses. Bet on yourself. Climb the ranks. Earn respect. The combat system in GTA needs a glow-up anyway—this could be a fire way to do it. Side activities are what turn GTA from a one-and-done story into a sandbox of infinite chaos . If Rockstar leans into variety, depth, and a little bit of madness, GTA 6 might be the most replayable game in history. Let's hope they bring the heat—and the weird. Kuberaa Box Office Collections: Rings 26cr worldwide on first day, Career best opening for Dhanush

Sekhar Kammula directed Telugu-Tamil bilingual Kuberaa grossed Rs. 17 crore approx at the Indian box office on its first day. The Dhanush starrer delivered his biggest opening to date, surpassing his previous best, Raayan, which opened to Rs. 16.50 crore last year. Additionally, the film grossed another Rs. 9 crore approx overseas, for a worldwide gross of Rs. 26 crore, also his best. The Telugu version led the charge, while the Tamil version was on the lower side. There were also Hindi and Kannada dubbed versions, but they were non-starters, though the film had a pretty good first day in Karnataka state. The film grossed Rs. 10 crore approx in the Telugu states, with a good contribution from both the Andhra and Nizam sides. Tamil Nadu came in at Rs. 4.25 crore approx, which is below par for a Dhanush film, but a couple of days ago, even Rs. 3 crore seemed doubtful. The film did well to end up where it did. It saw a good pick-up in collections as the day progressed, which also bodes well for its overall prospects. Kuberaa has high costs involved, north of Rs. 125 crore. It managed to make good recoveries from the non-theatrical rights, which have eased immediate pressure on its box office run, but it still needs to gross close to Rs. 125 crore to see its investors through. From this start and with seemingly positive reception, the film looks like a potential winner. This has been a terrible year for the Telugu box office, with a drought of releases since the two weeks of the Sankranti period in January. There were a couple of releases that did well at the medium level, but overall, the situation is grim. Kuberaa shall provide some relief, but a lot more is needed. The First Day Box Office Collections of Kuberaa are as follows:

Every year, June 21 is celebrated as International Yoga Day to promote the many benefits of yoga for mind, body, and soul. For actress Malvi Malhotra, yoga is more than just a fitness routine—it's a way of life that nurtures her emotional, mental, and physical well-being. Malvi, who began her acting journey with the popular TV show Udaan, has remained consistent in her yoga practice over the years. Recently, as she underwent a demanding physical transformation for her upcoming Bollywood project, yoga once again became her strongest ally. Talking about her fitness journey, Malvi shared, 'Fitness has always had paramount importance in my life and when it comes to yoga, we all know how important it is when it comes to a 360-degree holistic approach towards well-being. I have always practiced yoga and I know how much it has helped me in my emotional, mental and physical wellbeing.' She added how yoga helped her achieve her body goals without extreme measures: 'Even now, when I needed a certain fitness transformation in my body to lose 5 kgs, I resorted to yoga itself. From different forms of yoga like power yoga and vinyasa that helped me burn a lot of calories to increasing my overall physical activity with a good diet to help me gradually build muscle, I have done everything that was needed on my part.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Buy Brass Idols - Handmade Brass Statues for Home & Gifting Luxeartisanship Buy Now Undo Malvi further revealed her favorite poses, saying, 'My favourite asanas are Sukhasana, Padmasana, Vrikshasana, Natarajasana, and Paschimottanasana.
