Tom Cruise performing death-defying stunts in action films has always been the highlight of his movies. But now, according to sources, his rumored girlfriend, Ana de Armas, worries about Cruise. She feels the actor might hurt himself someday while doing dangerous stunts in his films.
Talking about Armas' fear, a source told Globe that the Cuban and Spanish actress is 'in awe of Tom and what he's pulled off over the years.' However, since the rumored couple have 'gotten close,' the star worries 'that he's going to get seriously hurt one day.'
The insider further revealed that even at 63, since the 'Mission Impossible' actor is 'throwing himself out of helicopters and dangling from buildings like he's invincible,' he is making Armas more scared. The 37-year-old actress has become more concerned about Cruise after hearing 'him talk about his plans to push the stunts even further in upcoming projects.'
Despite being petrified, 'there's zero chance' that Armas is going to talk him into slowing down.' The actress 'winces' whenever Cruise 'talks about jumping off another skyscraper or clinging to the side of a jet.' It's very difficult for Armas to 'see him putting his life at risk this way.'
Armas' worries intensified after Cruise reportedly considered a Doug Liman project titled 'Deeper.' As per Deadline, the story is about an 'astronaut who encounters a terrifying force while on a deep dive into a never-before-explored trench.' According to the outlet, Liman and Cruise are also plotting a NASA film. The upcoming project, which remains in development, will he shot in collaboration with SpaceX in outer space.

On this day: man makes replica of Back to the Future DeLorean
On this day in 2015, the Telegraph and Argus reported that a lifelong film fan had turned Hollywood into reality by building a full-scale replica of a time machine. Mike Hutchinson, aged 37 at the time of reporting, spent around £20,000 and two years turning his car into a replica of the DeLorean used by Marty McFly in the 1985 film Back to the Future. The finished article included castings from the original car (in Universal Studios in Hollywood), and "time circuits" enabling people to be "transported" back to their birthdate. Mr Hutchinson, at the time a mortgage and protection adviser for a Bingley firm, said: "The film is a real passion for me. "I was seven when it came out. "I have seen the film hundreds of times and know it off by heart. "It has always been a big film, and this year [2015] marks the 30th anniversary since the original one came out. "It has not been a cheap car. "I needed to get quite a lot of parts. "I would research them for four or five hours each night. "It took up hundreds of hours. "A lot of them were vintage aircraft parts, they were all weird and wonderful parts. "There were quite a lot of them. "There are only about four converted DeLoreans in the country. "The other three are in the south - mine is the furthest north. "I would call myself a car lover. "I'm not going to sell the car, it would take a lot of money for me to even think about it. "It's going across the country. "My family love it. "My dad helped with the work on it too. "I had it for about six months before I decided to convert it. "I have not drilled any holes in the car so that the whole thing can be put back to a stock DeLorean car within an hour." Mr Hutchinson planned to showcase the car at science fiction events across the UK, including the upcoming 2015 Bradford Classic Car Show. The DeLorean DMC-12 is a sports car, manufactured by John DeLorean's DeLorean Motor Company for the US market from 1981 to 1983.

Microsoft-owned developer Obsidian Entertainment is announcing a price drop for the The Outer Worlds 2 today. The game was originally supposed to debut at $79.99 in October, but it's now going back to the regular $69.99 Xbox game price. Microsoft announced earlier this year that it would be raising the price of new Xbox first-party games from $69.99 to $79.99, alongside increases to its consoles and controllers. The move to suddenly drop the price of The Outer Worlds 2 is a clear sign that preorders haven't gone too well and that gamers are rejecting Microsoft's initial move to $79.99 Xbox games. If you've already purchased the game then refunds will be handled by the Microsoft Store, Steam, PlayStation store or wherever you preordered The Outer Worlds 2. Other first-party Xbox games coming this holiday will also be sold at $69.99, instead of Microsoft's new $79.99 pricing. 'We're focused on bringing players incredible worlds to explore, and will keep our full priced holiday releases, including The Outer Worlds 2, at $69.99 – in line with current market conditions,' says an unnamed Xbox spokesperson in a statement to IGN. It will be interesting to see whether Microsoft continues to push its new Xbox game pricing in the new year, or whether this is a sign that it's fully rethinking the increase to $79.99.
