Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Shake Up Their Team as 4 Key Staffers Exit
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Shake Up Their Team as 4 Key Staffers Exit originally appeared on Parade.
A handful of staffers have left their jobs working for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in recent weeks, according to People on June 13. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made a number of changes in their staffing over the past year, several of those changes being rather significant ones.
People shared that the four key staffers who recently exited their positions include Kyle Boulia, who was the deputy press secretary for the couple. Boulia was based in Los Angeles. Hello! reported that Charlie Gipson, the pair's press officer based in the United Kingdom, has left as well.
Boulia and Gipson joined Prince Harry and Markle's staff in April 2024, People shared. In addition to the departures of Gipson and Boulia, Hello! noted that two people from Meghan's private team also left in recent weeks.
The new exits come months after Markle and Prince Harry brought on Meredith Kendall Maines, a veteran of Hulu and Google, to be their first chief communications officer.
In response to the recent exits, Maines said, "As the Duke and Duchess's business and philanthropic interests grow, I have made the strategic decision to move toward a more traditional communications structure of specialist agency support."
Maines added, "Transitioning from a team of two to an agency support staff of eight, operating across five different time zones, will give international media and stakeholders better access, and critically, faster response times to inquiries."
An insider told Hello!, "Something tells me there will be another change in the future. Meghan and Harry have hired some of the most incredible people at the top of their fields, yet somehow none of them ever work out."
In August 2024, Prince Harry and Markle made headlines with other staff departures. Fox News quoted photographer and royal broadcaster Helena Chard as saying "something is wrong," prompting the "revolving door" of staff for Markle and Prince Harry.
At the time, Chard said, "A revolving door of staff seems to be the norm for Harry and Meghan. Eighteen members of their staff have departed their team."

Why Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Split After 7 Years Together
THE RUNDOWN Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have split after seven years together, Us Weekly reports. The couple got engaged in 2019 and welcomed their daughter, 4-year-old Daisy Dove, in 2020. A source close to them told Us Weekly, 'Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable. It's not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.' The breakup was 'a long time coming. [Things] have been tense for months,' the source said, adding, '[They] have been living apart since Katy has been on tour.' A second source explained distance contributed to their issues: 'Katy has been very busy working, and they are apart often. That has caused tension.' The insider noted that despite their years-long engagement, they 'never set a date for the wedding or got around to planning anything, and Orlando is 'over it.'' On June 13, a source told People that their relationship was 'pretty much done,' adding that the former couple does not 'really see them[selves] being able to turn things around here.' The issues had been there for quite some time, the source shared: 'It's been breaking down the last couple of months and isn't looking good.' A few days earlier, several sources told the publication that tension rose during the release of her latest album, 143. 'Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album,' one source said. 'It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension.' A second insider said of Perry, 'She was also disappointed in some of the tour reviews. It's put stress on their relationship.' The former couple's last public outing was in March 2025 at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. During the weekend of June 21 and 22, Bloom was seen with Daisy in Perth, Australia, where Perry was touring. The couple wasn't photographed together. They have broken up before, taking time apart in 2017. In September 2024, Perry shared during her Call Her Daddy interview, 'We weren't really in it from day one. He was because he had just done a huge time of celibacy, and he had set intentions. I was fresh out of a relationship, and I was like, I can't do this anymore. I need to swim in a different pond, but I had to do a lot real work.' She added of her mentality versus his, 'He wasn't playing that cat-mouse game anymore. I was like, 'This is boring. I'm moving on.' I was so used to this push-pull. Because once you have it. I was playing games.' She then shared that she and Bloom attended couples therapy to help maintain their relationship. 'We want to we're in our relationship is to become better humans so we can raise this beautiful human being, [Daisy Dove],' she said. 'It's been different layers. The more we do the work, the more we find the next level. And sometimes we get stuck, and we're like, 'OK, let's go in to do the work and this is going to be annoying, and I don't want to do it. We don't have the time. I'm tired.' But we're gonna do it. And we find the next level. That's why we're continuing in the relationship.'

Did you know The Bear season 4 returns tonight? Here's how to watch
How can the release of an Emmy-winning show go under the radar? The Bear season 4 returns tonight, and no one is talking about it. Well, at least not yet. The Bear season 4 premieres at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Wednesday, June 25. All 10 episodes stream on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+. Recommended Videos The lack of promotion from the cast and the network is somewhat alarming. Most high-profile television shows flood the media with press in the days and weeks leading up to the premiere, from interviews and late-night talk shows to magazine profiles and podcast appearances. Apart from a trailer and a few television spots, The Bear season 4 has had little to no press surrounding the rollout. It's a strange decision, considering it's one of FX's most valuable properties. The Bear season 3 set viewership records for Hulu on its way to becoming the most-watched FX season premiere ever. Season 3 was also the most divisive, as it failed to meet the critical acclaim of the previous two seasons. Even without the lack of promotion, what The Bear does have working in its favor is consistency. A new season of The Bear has premiered every June for the last four years. Created and executive produced by Christopher Storer, The Bear stars Jeremy Allen White as Carmen 'Carmy' Berzatto, Ayo Edebiri as Sydney Adamu, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Richard 'Richie' Jerimovich, Liza Colón-Zayas as Tina Marrero, Abby Elliott as Natalie 'Sugar' Berzatto, Lionel Boyce as Marcus Brooks, and Matty Matheson as Neil Falk. The Bear season 4 will deal with the aftermath of the Chicago Tribune's review of the restaurant. The review was mixed, judging by the reactions of the characters in the trailer. The Bear's benefactor, Cicero (Oliver Platt), informs Carmy that the restaurant must start turning a profit or it will shut down. Also, Sydney grapples with leaving The Bear to work at another restaurant. It's unknown if The Bear season 4 will be the show's last. The show's marketing has not mentioned the words 'final season' in the lead-up to the premiere. Then again, almost nothing has been revealed about season 4. Time to fall in line, chefs, and trust the process.
