BRAZILIAN sensation Estevao Willian rejected the offer to spend the rest of the Club World Cup with his Chelsea team-mates - because he wanted to say a proper goodbye.

That meant getting on a flight back to Sao Paulo rather than moving on to

The youngster explained: "I had to ask Essugo what Cole had said to me. He laughed a bit before translating, telling me 'Cole said he's excited for you and want you to come with us after the game'."
Estevao added: 'I wanted to stay some more time with my team pals.
'I came here with them. And I should go back to
Brazil
with them.

Ferguson latest as three Irish players star in six-goal display against Wycombe

Brighton put six goals past Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday in the Premier League side's first pre-season friendly - and three Irish players got minutes during the comfortable win. However, there was no sign of Boys in Green forward Evan Ferguson, who looks set for a move to Serie A giants Roma. Albion boss Fabian Hurzeler fielded a total of 21 players during the game, played behind closed doors at Brighton's Elite Football Performance Centre, with the team largely changed at half-time. Andrew Moran was the first Irishman to come into the action when he replaced James Milner on the half-hour. Moran also completed the second-half, while Eiran Cashin and Jamie Mullins also featured in the second-half XI. Moran and Mullins impressed in the final-third, but Ferguson's absence will only fuel speculation that a move to Roma is close. According to reports in Italy, the Ireland striker is keen on the move, while the two clubs are working to finalise a deal, which would initially be a loan switch. Ferguson could be a Roma player by next week, unless other clubs, such as Serie A rivals Atalanta, make 11th hour efforts to sign the 20-year-old. Popular sports outlet Corriere dello Sport reports that Roma's sporting director Frederic Massara is working to finalise a deal as soon as possible.

Prince Andrew is not off the hook despite FBI dropping probe into his Epstein links, victims' lawyer warns

PRINCE Andrew is not off the hook despite the FBI dropping its probe into his links to Jeffrey Epstein, warns a lawyer. Mr Kuvin said: 'I still don't think Andrew can sleep soundly. With the quick change of administration or new leadership at the Department of Justice, the investigation could be reopened or continued. Andrew needs to visit the US to answer questions from the FBI. Read More on UK News 'Avoiding this, merely makes people think he's guilty.' There is no statute of limitations for federal sex crimes in the US, meaning allegations against Andrew could be brought again at any time. Prince Andrew has never been more toxic - the public hate him and NONE of the royals back him either 3 Andrew and paedo pal Epstein together in New York's Central Park Credit: Jae Donnelly 'There is no way back for Prince Andrew', claims PR guru PRINCE Andrew's reputation is damaged beyond repair and he will never be able to engineer a return to public life, according to one of Britain's top PR gurus. Brand and culture expert Nick Ede, who runs East of Eden PR agency, called the shamed royal 'deluded' for thinking he could ever return to royal duties and urged him to give up and 'enjoy his life' in exile. It follows the release of Scoop - a Netflix movie based on the 2019 interview he gave to Newsnight. Nick said: 'There is no way back for him. 'I think you know this perpetual idea that he could still be back. Nobody cares. He hasn't got fans. 'There's nobody out there who's going 'We want to see Prince Andrew', not one single person. I think he has to realise that. But I think it's going to take a long, long time for him to actually understand. It's very deluded. "In my opinion, the best thing that he could do is just enjoy his life. He's got gorgeous daughters. He has a great relationship with Fergie, he has a lovely house. 'Just live a quiet life.' Reflecting on the interview five years ago - the fallout of which saw Andrew step back from royal duties "for the foreseeable future" - Nick compared the fallout to Frost vs Nixon and said he would have urged him not to do it. He said: ' If I had been advising him, I would say, go quiet, be quiet, just go to ground. You know you're a prince. Enjoy the life that you lead, but do not open this can of worms, because that's what it is. ' There was no admission that a relationship with somebody like Epstein was terribly toxic. There was no idea that there were loads of victims of trafficking whose lives were completely ruined by Epstein. He didn't seem to think that the association he had with that man was anything but positive. 'I think his worst gaffe was obviously being in that interview and agreeing to it in the first place, for not realising that he's actually going to be interviewed by a very, very good journalist who is going to ask him questions which he might not like. 'But I think what this has done is really shown how archaic Prince Andrew is in his opinions and thoughts. "Read the room. He's never read a room at all.'
