Probe launched for 'unexplained' death of man at Glasgow home
A body of a man was found in a house in Easterhouse yesterday, February 23.
Police raced to the address on Lochend Path in the city's East End following reports of the sudden death of a man at around 5am Sunday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'Around 5.05am on Sunday, 23 February 2025, we were called to address in Lochend Path, Easterhouse following the sudden death of a 52-year-old man.
'The death is being treated as unexplained.
'A 48-year-old man was arrested in connection with an assault and later released pending further enquiries. Enquiries are ongoing.'

FBI seeks 2 "persons of interest" after officers allegedly attacked in Bay Area immigration protest
Officials with the FBI announced that they are seeking two people it says attacked federal officers during a protest outside a Bay Area immigration court earlier this week. On Friday, the agency's San Francisco office released photos of the pair, who the FBI said were seen at Tuesday's protest at the courthouse in Concord and are considered "persons of interest" related to an assault on federal officers and the theft of government property. According to the FBI, one of the people sought was wearing a green baseball cap, sunglasses, a black surgical-style mask, black zip-up sweatshirt, black t-shirt and jeans, along with black shoes. The second person was seen wearing a black surgical-style mask, a black shirt with a graphic, gray vest, brown pants, black boots and a multi-colored crossbody bag. "Concord is home to a federal immigration court, which is intended to provide individuals with a fair opportunity to present their cases and be heard. We support those who choose to exercise their constitutional right to peaceful protest. Police Scotland make further gangland feud arrests
Two more arrests have been made in connection with a gangland feud across central Scotland, taking the total number of arrests to 44. Police Scotland launched Operation Portaledge in response to a series of assaults, shootings and firebombing incidents in Glasgow and Edinburgh since March. The force said a 25-year-old man was arrested and charged after a firearm was recovered from Roseburn Path in Edinburgh on Wednesday. Officers also arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with fire-raising of a vehicle on Peacocktail Close in Edinburgh on 16 May. Meanwhile, detectives are investigating whether an incident at a property on Walter Scott Avenue in Edinburgh is linked to the dispute. A police spokesperson said a window was discovered damaged at a property in the street on Friday. In a separate development, a 21-year-old man has been reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with wilful fire-raisings at two properties in Glasgow and one in Shotts, North Lanarkshire, in April. Officers also executed warrants at addresses in South Queensferry and Edinburgh on Friday. Det Ch Sup Dave Ferry said police were continuing to follow a number of lines of positive inquiry and thanked local communities for their support. He added: "Our continued activity and arrests show our commitment to targeting organised crime and bringing those responsible to justice." More than 8,000 homes have been visited and over 1,600 vehicles stopped as part of the current investigation.
