The death of a man on a canal boat in Warwickshire is being treated as unexplained, police have services were called to a "medical emergency" on a section of Coventry Canal on Coleshill Road in Atherstone shortly before 16:30 BST on Monday.A man, aged in his 70s, was pronounced dead on board the boat, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.A spokesperson for Warwickshire Police added the man's next of kin had been informed and his death was being treated as "unexplained" at this time. Gardaí investigating after unexplained death of man in Co Kerry

Gardaí are investigating 'all of the circumstances' following the unexplained death of a man found unresponsive outside a premises in Kilgarvan, Co Kerry in the early hours of the morning. An area has been sealed off. At about 4am gardaí were notifiedthat a man in his 70s, had been brought to University Hospital Kerry in Tralee. He had earlier been found unresponsive outside a Church Street premises in Kilgarvan and was subsequently pronounced deceased at the hospital. The State Pathologist and the local coroner have been notified. A postmortem has been arranged, the outcome of which will determine the course of the investigation.

The body of a woman has been found at a house. Cheshire Police said officers and paramedics went to a house in Pearson Street in Macclesfield at about 18:50 BST on Friday and a 72-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The force said it was currently treating the woman's death as "unexplained", and described it as an "isolated" incident. "We would like to appeal to anyone who may have any information in relation to the incident to come forward, or anyone who saw anything suspicious or unusual in the area recently," said Cheshire Police Det Ch Insp David Hutcheon. Police treating death of boy, 2, in Carlisle as 'unexplained'

CUMBRIA Police are treating the death of a two-year-old boy in Carlisle as 'unexplained'. Emergency services were called to a property on Edderside Drive at 4.19pm on Thursday and the Great North Air Ambulance was also deployed. A two-year-old boy who was reported as 'being unwell' was taken to hospital by ambulance and later died. Police have now confirmed that they are treating the death as 'unexplained' however do not believe there are any 'suspicious circumstances' surrounding the incident at this time. A Cumbria Police spokesperson said: "The death is currently being treated as unexplained however there are no suspicious circumstances at this time." A police investigation is currently ongoing. In a previous statement, a Cumbria Police spokesperson said: "Emergency services have responded to an incident in Carlisle. "Police were contacted by the North West Ambulance Service at 4:19pm today (17 July) with a report of a child being unwell at an address on Edderside Drive. "The child, a 2-year-old boy, was taken to hospital and has sadly died. "Officers are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the death."
