The last two weeks and a bit have seen some of snooker's finest contest in Sheffield for the sport's grandest prize, but only one can win.
From last year's champion in Kyren Wilson being a victim of the Crucible curse in the first round to Ronnie O'Sullivan's remarkable run to the semi-finals, the very best have endured the bravado of snooker's World Cup.
O'Sullivan, like world No.1 Judd Trump, fell to the brilliance of our two finalists: Mark Williams and Zhao Xintong.
The former is no stranger in this arena, looking to a fourth World title to his collection, whilst Zhao aims to become the third consecutive first-time winner and first Asian after the success of Wilson and Luca Brecel in the last years.
There's talk of a potential change in scenery in the future, but when the tournament keeps producing moments like this, why move?

Tore Andre Flo believes his former club Chelsea should sign Norway international star Antonio Nusa in the summer transfer window. The Blues are looking to recruit a new winger after sending Jadon Sancho back to Manchester United following his loan spell in west London. They are already in talks to sign Borussia Dortmund's Jamie Gittens but Flo feels Nusa – who plays for RB Leipzig – should also be in Chelsea's sights. The 20-year-old, who is valued at €28m (£23.6m) by Transfermarkt, can be deployed as a winger or attacking midfielder and is under contract with his current club until 2029. Flo has been left impressed by his Norwegian compatriot after his performance in the 3-0 World Cup qualifying win over Italy on Friday, in which Nusa assisted his country's first goal and then scored the second. 'I've been watching the national team for a bit now,' Flo, who played 76 times for Norway from 1995 to 2004, told Metro via Nusa joined Bundesliga side RB Leipzig from Club Brugge in August 2024, signing a five-year deal. He's played 36 times for RB Leipzig to date, conjuring up a total of 12 goal involvements. Nusa has particularly impressed on the international stage for Norway, scoring five goals and registering seven assists across 14 caps. 'There are some big superstars in there but [Chelsea] wouldn't be able to buy Erling Haaland or Martin Odegaard. There is a player called Antonio Nusa. 'I think he is very, very exciting. I've just seen him play against Italy and he was amazing in that game. I think he'd be possible to buy for a big club like Chelsea.' Meanwhile, Flo feels that AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan is a 'very smart' signing for his old club in the summer transfer window. 'There has been a lot of talk about the goalkeeping position at Chelsea,' Flo said. 'I think it was on the cards that something was going to happen there. 'It sounds like a good signing to me. A club like Chelsea would improve the squad straight away if there was any doubt [over Robert Sanchez]. To me it sounds very, very smart.' Chelsea signed Ipswich striker Liam Delap in a £30m deal this summer and Flo has set a goal target for his first season at Stamford Bridge. Weeks later Iling-Junior, who originally departed Chelsea for Juve in 2020, was back in England and heading to Middlesbrough. And it was while playing for the Championship club that he decided he wants his future to be at left-back. Iling-Junior, who is battling with Tino Livramento to start there for England U21s in Thursday's Euros opening against Czech Republic, said: 'I definitely settled into the left-back role and going up and down the pitch [at Boro]. I enjoyed that, bringing my parts into the team with assists, tricks and being creative. 'It's an honour to be one of the players that the manager has chosen and I want to repay that on the pitch. 'Tino has obviously had that great season with Newcastle. The competition is always healthy. If I can bring out the best of him and he brings out the best of me and we go and win the tournament then it's happy days.' Iling-Junior has represented England at every level bar the seniors and has seen several of his team-mates graduate into the Three Lions first-team. And he knows this month's tournament in Slovakia could lead to a huge season ahead for him at both club and international level as he revealed his ambitions for the coming 12 months. Iling-Junior has already tasted Euro joy with England at U19 level and was part of the Juventus side alongside the likes of Dusan Vlahovic and Adrien Rabiot that beat Atalanta to lift the Coppa Italia last season. 3 He added: 'Winning the Coppa Italia, winning a trophy, is one of the best feelings I've had. 'Juventus is a big, big club and I learned what winning actually meant there, and not just winning, dominating and that's a really nice feeling knowing that you're part of history. 'I enjoyed the pressure there. That gave me motivation each game to go out with a bit of pressure and do what I enjoy. Winning the Euros would definitely be up there with that.' England kick-off their Euro campaign against the Czech Republic on Thursday. They then face Slovenia three days later and finish the group stage against Germany on Wednesday 18 June with all of the Young Lions' matches being broadcast on Channel 4.
