The re-release of Mahesh Babu's 2010 film Khaleja today has attracted significant attention. While some fans are expressing their enthusiasm online, others have landed themselves in trouble.
According to reports, a fan in Vijayawada entered a theatre with a snake in his hand. He was seemingly inspired by a scene in the film that shows Mahesh Babu's character walk in the desert with a snake. The fan wanted to recreate the scene. At first, people around him thought it was fake — until it moved and sent others into a panic. A video of the same has gone viral.
In another development, fans expressed disappointment when they found out that approximately 20 minutes of footage, including popular 'Sunday Monday' song, were missing from the re-released version. Several videos of fans expressing their anger and fighting with theatre owners surfaced online.

With the growing intolerance, exhibitors quickly shared a statement that read, 'We have seen a few tweets that some scenes or songs have not been screened. Please be aware that we only play the content provided by the makers. Do not let us down by creating unnecessary issues. Please understand.'
Soon after, Khaleja's production team responded. Taking to their official X account, they wrote, 'Everything sorted. Enjoy Khaleja 4K to the fullest in theatres near you.'

'That mans charisma and aura are just outstanding': Nagarjuna shares fantastic experience with Rajinikanth in Coolie

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 12 (ANI): Telugu superstar Nagarjuna shared his experience of working with actor Rajinikanth as "fantastic" in the multi-starrer movie "Coolie" scheduled to release in theatres worldwide on August 14. The Megastar made the remarks at the album launch event of the movie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj in Mumbai, attended by actress Shruti Haasan and music director Anirudh Ravichandran. Nagarjuna plays the role of an antagonist in the movie which also features Kannada superstar Upendra, Aamir Khan and Sathyaraj in prominent roles. "Working with Rajini sir is fantastic. Something I will take back home. That man's charisma and aura on set are just outstanding. It was really nice that he helped me with Tamil dialogues and guided me. Though I played the most negative role, I take back something very positive with myself after doing the film," said Nagarjuna. Nagarjuna has always preferred working as a protagonist in his movies. His negative role in 'Coolie' is considered to be one of the rare feats for the Telugu superstar. It was not easy for Lokesh Kanagaraj to rope in Nagarjuna in the movie. "I made him work for it. I had to make sure that I was doing the right thing playing a baddie. It took 7-9 meetings before he convinced me to be part of the film," said Nagarjuna. However, this is not the first time that Nagarjuna played a complex or negative role in his career. Recently, Nagarjuna was seen in the movie 'Kuberaa', which also starred Dhanush in the lead role, where he played the role of an honest officer who turned corrupt for a businessman after seeing how life had treated him badly for being on the right side. Meanwhile, the makers of 'Coolie' shared the trailer of the film earlier this month. The trailer shows Thalaiva in a powerful new look with intense action scenes, dramatic moments, and strong dialogues. Fans will also see actor Nagarjuna playing the villain. The film has officially received an A (Adults Only) certificate from the censor board. This marks the superstar's first A-rated film in many years, hinting that the film will be packed with intense and unfiltered action. One major highlight of the much-awaited film is the reunion of 'Thalaiva' and actor Aamir Khan after nearly three decades. The two last worked together in the 1995 film 'Aatank Hi Aatank.' In 'Coolie,' Aamir Khan will be seen as Dahaa. A poster showcasing Aamir's rugged new look was recently shared by the makers. Coolie is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner. The film is set to clash at the box office with another big release, War 2, which stars Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR. (ANI)

(Picture Courtesy: Facebook) With just days to go before 'Coolie' storms theatres on August 14, excitement is peaking — and the film's Mumbai promotional event only added fuel to the fire. The highlight of the evening came when Telugu superstar Nagarjuna opened up about his first collaboration with Rajinikanth, describing the experience as nothing short of 'fantastic. ' Rajini sir's guidance on set - His charisma and aura were just really great In 'Coolie', directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj , Nagarjuna steps into a full-fledged negative role. Speaking about working alongside the Tamil superstar, he said, 'His charisma and aura were just really great. He helped me with Tamil dialogues and guided me. It was really nice of him. Though I played the most negative role, I take back something very positive with myself after doing the film.' Rajinikanth's Viral Fall Video: Real Clip or Digital Hoax? Convincing Nagarjuna to play the villain The actor revealed that accepting the role wasn't immediate. 'I made Lokesh work for it,' he said with a smile. 'I had to make sure I was doing the right thing playing a baddie. It took 7–9 meetings before he convinced me.' Despite his initial hesitation, Nagarjuna admitted he enjoyed portraying the antagonist. Star-studded event The event also saw Shruti Haasan, who plays a crucial role in the film, sharing her admiration for Rajinikanth. 'I unconditionally love my Appa (Kamal Haasan) but I am also a Rajini sir fan,' she said, recalling a close-up scene with him that left her in awe. Music composer Anirudh Ravichander was also present, further ramping up the hype. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth admitted that he doubted Soubin Shahir's casting in the film. During his speech, the superstar said, "I asked Lokesh, 'Who is Soubin? Which films has he acted in?. I was literally blown away while watching some of Soubin Shahir's movie scenes." 'Coolie' is all set to clash with 'War 2' on August 14.

Coolie vs War 2 advance booking: Rajinikanth's film sells 500% more tickets than Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR's film

Coolie vs War 2 advance booking: This week is set to witness a massive box office clash, with Rajinikanth's much-awaited film Coolie releasing on the same day as Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR's War 2. With advance bookings for both films now underway, the competition has grown even more fierce. For now, Coolie holds the lead in advance booking sales. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, War 2 has secured more screens than Coolie across India. While Rajinikanth's Coolie has 7,338 shows pan-India, War 2 will be screened at 8,510 shows, as of 9 am, 12 August. Despite leading with a larger number of shows, Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR's War 2 has sold 1,26,287 tickets in advance booking sales for day 1. Comparatively better, Coolie has sold a whopping 8,35,850 tickets for day 1, which is about 561.7% more than the YRF's spy-thriller. Coolie is likely to have a bigger opening day business than War 2. However, there's still time for Hrithik and Jr NTR's film to catch up with Coolie's numbers. In terms of revenue, War 2 has raked in ₹ 4.11 crore from advance booking sales for its release day. Considering the blocked seats, it is set to premiere with a business of ₹ 8.54 crore. On the other hand, Rajinikanth's Coolie has minted ₹ 17.72 crore alone from day 1 advance booking, which is already higher than the total estimated business of War 2. Considering blocked seats, Coolie is eyeing a debut with ₹ 24.28 crore, which is an impressive figure. War 2 will release in Hindi (across 2D, IMAX, DOLBY, 4DX, and other formats), Tamil (2D), and Telugu (2D, 4DX). Coolie will release originally in Tamil with dubbed versions in Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada languages, in 2D formats. While the Hindi 2D format of War 2 leads with the highest number of Day 1 tickets sold, Coolie has recorded the maximum sales among its Tamil audience. War 2 is directed by Ayan Mukerji. It stars Hrithik, Jr NTR alongside Kiara Advani. The film marks Jr NTR's Bollywood debut. War 2 was passed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with a U/A 16+ certificate. It has a runtime of 2 hours and 50 minutes. Coolie is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. It features Rajinikanth with Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Aamir Khan. It has been certified 'A' by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). It has a runtime of 2 hours and 48 minutes. Both are releasing on 14 August.
