Ed Sheeran is now set to play two shows at Optus Stadium in Perth next year due to overwhelming demand for tickets from fans.
Last week, the global pop superstar announced he would be coming to Australia on his Loop tour, kicking it all off in Perth on Saturday, January 31.
On Monday, it was announced that a second show on Sunday, February 1, has been added to the itinerary.
Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne also received another show each.
Having already sold more than 2.5 million tickets across Australia and New Zealand to date, Sheeran's Loop Tour will see the beloved singer returning to our shores with a brand-new live show that follows the release of his new album, Play out on September 12.
Sheeran's most recent visit to Optus Stadium in March 2023 set the record for the single largest crowd ever at the venue with 73,092.
He was also the first artist to host a concert at the stadium, rolling out his Divide Tour with back-to-back shows in March 2018.
Tickets for all shows – including the newly added dates – will be available to Frontier Members in Monday's presale.
With staggered start times for each city, fans can check the Frontier Touring website for relevant start times.
