OnePlus Pad 3 with Snapdragon 8 Elite processor launching next week: All you need to know
OnePlus has confirmed that its latest Android tablet, the OnePlus Pad 3, will be launched in North America, Europe and the UK on 5 June, powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. On the same day, the company is also set to launch its India-exclusive OnePlus 13s compact flagship, which will feature the same SoC.
However, the company is yet to announce whether the new tablet will be launched in India. The timing does seem ideal, given that last year's OnePlus Pad 2 also debuted around the same time during the OnePlus Summer Launch event.
OnePlus Pad 3 will feature Open Canvas, which debuted with the OnePlus Open in 2023 and was later introduced to the OnePlus Pad 2 last year. This feature enables users to multitask with ease by opening up to three apps simultaneously.
The promo images also reveal that, just like last year, OnePlus will offer a separate keyboard and stylus for the tablet. However, these accessories will most likely be sold separately.
Leaks suggest that the tablet could be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro, launched in China last month. If these rumours are true, the tablet could feature a 13.2-inch, 3.4K, 144 Hz display with a High Brightness Mode (HBM) of 900 nits.
Apart from being powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, the tablet could come with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
In terms of optics, it could feature a 13 MP primary camera with an LED flash and an 8 MP front-facing camera for video calls and the occasional selfie.
The tablet could feature a 12,140 mAh battery with support for 67 W SuperVOOC wired fast charging. It is expected to run on Oxygen OS 15, based on Android 15, and support all the new AI features already seen on the OnePlus 13 (Review) and OnePlus 13R (Review).

Gemini Live camera and screen sharing rolling out to all users- Here's how it works
Google's popular Gemini Live camera and screen sharing feature is officially rolling out to all Android and iOS users, bringing advanced AI capabilities at the touch of a button. The feature was first teased as part of Project Astra back at Google I/O 2024. Later, the feature was rolled out to Gemini Advanced users for Pixel 9 and Samsung Galaxy S25 series users. While it's available to several Android users from mid-April, Google confirmed the Gemini Live camera and screen sharing capabilities for iOS at the recent developer's event. Now, the feature has started to roll out to all users, including the free-tier Gemini users. Therefore, if you want to use powerful AI capabilities, then know how this new Gemini Live feature works on smartphones Gmini Live was introduced last year as a conversational model with an audio-based interface. Now, Google has expanded its capabilities to share the camera or screen within Gemini Live conversation. With these features, users can simply point the camera at to object, place, or monument and ask questions. Gemini will be able to analyse the object for relevant responses. Google also says that, 'Gemini will provide real-time feedback based on the new skill you're learning or task you're completing.' In April 2025, the feature was rolled out to several Android devices, now it's also available to iOS users. Additionally, Google has also expanded its access from subscription users to free-tier users. Key Findings: * Digital-Native Demographic: 60% of respondents are aged 18-34, with law students (36.6%) and advocates (23.8%) leading participation, signaling strong grassroots readiness for AI experimentation. * Widespread Early Adoption: Nearly 60% have used AI tools in the past year for legal research (77.9%), summarization (65.7%), and drafting support (54.7%). * Productivity Gains vs. Trust Deficit: While 79.7% report significant time savings on repetitive tasks, only 4.1% fully trust AI outputs without human verification, and 48.8% insist on review before use. * Critical Barriers: Over half (58.1%) cite unreliable output quality, 51.2% point to hallucinated or incorrect content, and 42.4% lament lack of India-specific legal context in existing tools. * Governance Shortfalls: Although 77.1% believe firms should disclose AI use in advice and filings, just 11% have formal written AI policies in place. Key Challenges Identified * Unreliable Output Quality (58.14%): Over half of respondents flagged inconsistent accuracy and "hallucinated" content as top pain points when using AI tools. * Data Privacy & Security (47.67%) Nearly half of users worry about protecting client information and complying with confidentiality obligations. * Lack of India-Specific Legal Context (42.44%): AI models trained on global data often misinterpret or omit nuances of Indian statutes and precedents. * Ethical & Professional Responsibility Concerns (38.37%): Professionals expressed unease about liability, bias, and the ethical use of AI in client work. * Training Gaps & Awareness (40.12% & 34.30%): A significant portion cite limited staff training and low awareness of available tools as adoption barriers.
