Two suspects on an e-scooter wanted in North York auto theft

Toronto police are looking for two suspects who allegedly pulled up to a vehicle in North York on an e-scooter before stealing it.
On the evening of June 4, police said two male suspects were in the area of St. Dennis Drive and Don Mills Road, south of Eglinton Avenue East, on an electric scooter.
Police said they were observed entering a vehicle, described as a grey 2023 Honda CR-V, which they later stole. The vehicle was last seen travelling on Don Mills Road.
Police released an image of the suspects on the e-scooter in a news release on Friday.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact police at 416-222-TIPS (8477) or Crime Stoppers anonymously.

Britain's Starmer announces national inquiry into ‘grooming gangs'
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on Saturday he would accept a recommendation for a national inquiry into grooming gangs who sexually abused thousands of girls, having previously resisted calls for a statutory review. The scandal, which revealed how gangs of mostly Pakistani men had groomed, trafficked and raped young white girls more than a decade ago, returned to the political agenda this year after U.S. billionaire Elon Musk criticized the British government. On Saturday, Musk responded to a post on X thanking him for drawing attention to the matter, saying he is 'glad to hear this is happening.' Interior minister Yvette Cooper in January asked Louise Casey, a former senior official, to undertake a 'rapid audit' of the scale and nature of gang-based exploitation in Britain. Casey's report is expected to say that vulnerable white British girls were 'institutionally ignored' by police and local authorities fearing being accused of racism, Sky News reported on Saturday. '(Casey's) position when she started the audit was that there was not a real need for a national inquiry, over and above what was going on,' Starmer told reporters en route to the G7 summit in Canada on Saturday. 'She has come to the view that there should be a national inquiry on the basis of what she has seen. I have read every single word of her report and I am going to accept her recommendation,' he added. The Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch said Starmer had to be led by the nose to make what she said was the correct decision. 'I've been repeatedly calling for a full national inquiry since January,' she said. 'Many survivors of the grooming gangs will be relieved that this is finally happening. Sask. RCMP arrest two suspects after assault in Martensville
Warman RCMP have arrested two suspects in connection with an assault at a business in Martensville, Saskatchewan, on Friday evening. Shortly before 10 p.m., officers were called to the 200 block of Centennial Drive North in Martensville, where police say two suspects – an adult male and a male youth – entered the business and got into a physical altercation with two victims, an adult male and a male youth. In a news release sent Saturday afternoon, the Saskatchewan RCMP said the adult victim suffered stab wounds and was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The youth victim was physically assaulted and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. According to RCMP, responding officers provided first aid until EMS arrived. The suspects were later arrested – the youth suspect was taken into custody at the hospital after being treated for injuries, while the adult suspect was arrested in a home in Martensville. Police say a third male youth was also arrested but later released without charges. Police believe the incident was not random in nature and ask anyone with information to contact them.
