Showjumper had ‘mutual agreement' with partner to cheat before ‘forcing underage girl into sex with him & horse rider'
'SEX PACT' Showjumper had 'mutual agreement' with partner to cheat before 'forcing underage girl into sex with him & horse rider' A SHOWJUMPER had a "mutual agreement" with his girlfriend to cheat before he forced an underage girl into sex with him and a horse rider, a court heard. Guy Simmonds, 37, and Lauren Jarvis, 26, are accused of targeting the girl despite knowing she was under 16. Ms Dimes told Cardiff Crown Court today how she gave her permission for Simmonds to have sex with other women on the understanding that she 'did not want to know anything about it.' Prosecutor James Hartson said: 'You say there was an understanding that he might stray. Did he say 'This is how it is going to be?'' Giving evidence, Miss Dimes said: 'No. It was a mutual understanding.' Advertisement The court heard the couple met on Tinder before moving in together in 2022. Ms Dimes said in her evidence that the alleged victim would "tell stories" and often spoke about sex. She also denied she had been "coached or manipulated' by Simmonds over what to tell jurors. The court heard in January 2024, he messaged fellow rider Jarvis to organise a "threesome" at her home - asking when he should "pop over". Advertisement Simmonds then allegedly text the girl to inform her of the plan, telling her: "You will both do what daddy says." The girl told the court Simmonds got her and Jarvis to "do stuff" with each other before he had sex with both of them. Jurors heard previously Simmonds messaged Jarvis after the alleged encounter to say: "You both loved that haha". Jarvis then replied: "Yeah, you missed round two" with a wink emoji. Advertisement They later hatched a "pact of silence" when they got wind that the girl was talking about it, the court heard. Simmonds text Jarvis, saying: "Hey, I have a feeling that [name of alleged victim] has said about us. "If anyone asks for sake of both of us nothing ever happened that night xx." Jarvis replied: "Hey, who's she told? Oh god has she really, what's she trying to do, make our lives hell? Of course I will xx." Advertisement Simmonds ran a riding school that offered "showjumping horse production and sales, coaching and schooling" in the village of Undy in Wales. He added the girl on Facebook and told her "thanks for accepting" before being told her age, it is said. The experienced showjumper would allegedly regularly take the girl into a horsebox to sexually abuse her while they were alone at the stables. Jurors heard that at one point, this was happening every couple of days when Simmonds' girlfriend was away. Advertisement The alarm was raised when the girl told her dad what had allegedly happened and he alerted police. In her police interview, the girl said she felt she could not just walk away because she was scared Simmonds would "hurt me". She added: "I wasn't smiling and stuff when this was going on. If you looked at my face you could tell there was fear." The girl claimed there was one occasion where Simmonds took out his phone and allegedly began filming her. Advertisement She told police he had a "little smirk on his face", the court heard. Simmonds later dumped his mobile in a bin at a Tesco just days before he was arrested for alleged sexual contact with a child. He denied he was attempting to destroy evidence - and claimed the phone was broken when he was quizzed by police. The court heard he also burned or threw away a mattress from his horse box where he is accused of repeatedly having sex with the victim. Advertisement Simmonds told police he did not have any form of sexual contact with the victim. He also claimed any messages about the alleged encounter were "banter and a wind up." Simmonds denies six counts of sexual activity with a child, while Jarvis has pleaded not guilty to one charge of sexual activity with a child. The trial continues. Advertisement

He, of the city's Govan, was being assisted at the hearing with a Mandarin interpreter. Prosecutor Hazel Kerr said today: "On receiving his sentence from the sheriff, He became aggressive. "He began shouting in Mandarin while pointing his finger towards the sheriff. "The sheriff asked the interpreter to translate what He was saying." The interpreter replied: "Wait until I get out, I will find you." When asked what he meant by the sheriff, He replied: "When I get out of jail I will find you." He then leaned over the dock and pointed his finger at Sheriff Ablett. A custody court officer took hold of He who then shouted to the sheriff: "I will kill you." Sheriff Matthew Jackson KC deferred sentence until next September pending background reports and granted He bail meantime. The sheriff said: "The social worker can explain to me why you behaved in the dreadful way that you did. "As your lawyer has told you, this is a serious matter and a custodial sentence is at the forefront of my mind. "I will not make a decision until I see the reports before me."

Girl survives being blasted 100ft from Kyiv tower in Putin blitz that killed 11 – but says ‘what happened to mum & dad?'
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A YOUNG girl has miraculously survived a 100ft fall off a tower block after her family's apartment was hit by the latest deadly Russian attacks. Vladimir Putin's evil forces unleashed a terrifying night of strikes which killed 11 people, including a six-year-old and his mother, and left Kyiv decimated. A terrifying explosion ripped through the towering block of flats as those inside were blasted out of their homes and sent flying through the sky. Veronika was sent plunging over 100ft to the ground but managed to cheat death by landing on her cushioned bed. She was left with a broken leg and lost a tooth. The emotional toll has weighed far greater on her with her parents yet to be found among the rubble. Speaking on the horrific wake-up, Veronika said: "I fell from the ninth floor. I just had a broken leg and a tooth was knocked out. "I was conscious, I was just sleepy and didn't understand what was happening. "I heard an explosion and a second later I was on the ground. I don't know how it happened. "I don't know what happened to my father, what happened to my mother. I don't know where they are yet. What happened to them?" The tragic death toll from the strikes sits at 11 with another 135 injured. Russia threatens Trump with 'devastating' strikes after US president cut Putin's ceasefire deadline Thirty of the wounded are still receiving treatment in hospital - including five children. Many, including Veronika's parents, remain missing. Vlad reportedly sent eight Iskander-K cruise missiles and 309 Shahed drones, according to Ukraine's armed forces. Five buildings were directly hit, they added. President Volodymyr Zelensky posted a video of burning ruins, saying people were still trapped under the rubble of one residential building. He said: "Kyiv. Missile strike. Directly into a residential building. People under the rubble. All services are on site. Russian terrorists." Kyiv mayor Vitaly Klitschko paid tribute to those who were killed as he described the attack on the capital as the heaviest night of horror for children since the start of the war. Telegram channel Pravda Gerashchenko added: "While rescuers are clearing debris and searching for survivors, people are at the scene of the tragedy waiting for news about their loved ones. "These scenes break the heart. Show them to those who think the maniac Putin can be appeased." The latest strike shows Putin has no intention of avoiding Trump's ire and cutting a peace deal with Ukraine. The US President has repeatedly said that the nightly bombing of civilians shows him Vlad isn't serious about peace. Trump's shortened 10-day deadline could now see massive sanctions slapped on Russia or those who buy Moscow's oil by August 8. Trump slammed tyrant Putin while visiting Scotland earlier this week as he has not taken Trump's peace efforts seriously. Trump said was "very disappointed" with him and said there was "no reason" to not implement sanctions earlier on Russia. He has made getting peace in Ukraine a priority and has talked to Putin directly as he has tried to get him to cut a deal. But the tyrant has not moved away from his maximalist demands and will only sign a deal that leaves Ukraine defenceless. Vlad has spent months talking up the prospect of peace, but appears to have alienated Trump after launching huge barrages at Ukrainian civilians. The deadly blitzes are intended to sap morale and hammer civilian infrastructure, experts say. 5 Officials in Kyiv are still searching for any missing civilians under the rubble Credit: Shutterstock Editorial
