
Hodeidah University honors Minister of Transport for supporting its programs
Hodeidah - Saba:
Today, Hodeidah University honored Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim with the university's shield, in appreciation of his role in establishing the College of Agriculture and his support for the university's activities during his tenure in the governorate.
The honor came on the sidelines of the launch of Investment Law 2025, where Qahim expressed his gratitude, praising the university's academic excellence and cultural and social achievements. He also stressed the importance of the College of Agriculture in providing the agricultural sector with qualified cadres, noting the interest of Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi in agricultural education to achieve self-sufficiency.
In turn, University President Mohammed Al-Ahdal praised Qahim's efforts in supporting the university's programs and facilitating the establishment of the College of Agriculture.

Sana'a - Saba: An expanded meeting chaired by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Scholar Mohammed Muftah, discussed on Wednesday aspects of coordination among various ministries and government agencies to complete the implementation of the emergency plan. The meeting, attended by the Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Local Development Affairs, Mohammed Al-Madani; the Ministers of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim; Economy, Industry, and Investment, Engineer Muin Al-Maqari; Oil and Minerals, Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir; Electricity, Energy, and Water, Dr. Ali Saif; the Deputy Minister of Health and Environment, Dr. Nasher Al-Qaoud; the Technical Affairs Undersecretary of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Taha Zabbara; and several concerned officials, reviewed the progress of the emergency plan's implementation and the achievements made in this regard. During the meeting, the First Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of proceeding with the plan's implementation to address any emergencies through coordination and cooperation among all relevant parties, ensuring a swift response to carry out any required tasks. He noted that the emergency plan, adopted by all state institutions, is essential given the aggression, blockade, and targeting of Yemeni people's resources that the nation is facing. The meeting stressed the importance of integrating roles among all concerned parties and mobilizing all available resources to ensure full readiness for executing any emergency tasks. It underscored the necessity of working according to approved mechanisms that define the responsibilities of each entity to enhance and improve performance. Anti-Corruption & Transport ministries discuss irregularities & solutions
Sana'a - Saba: A meeting held on Wednesday in Sana'a, attended by Redhwan Mohammed Al-Mutawakel, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Authority, and Mohammed Qaheem, Minister of Transport and Public Works, discussed aspects of cooperation and coordination in combating corruption. The meeting reviewed a matrix outlining the most prominent irregularities within the ministry and its affiliated agencies, along with preventive measures to address them. The matrix was prepared by the Authority through its Corruption Prevention Department, based on reports, complaints, and case files under review. The Deputy Chairman of the Authority emphasized the commitment to seriously implementing the preventive measures outlined in the matrix to address irregularities, thereby enhancing corruption prevention within the ministry and its affiliated entities. This aligns with the directives of the leadership, the program of the Government of Change and Construction, and the implementation of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy. For his part, the Minister of Transport and Public Works affirmed the ministry's dedication to strengthening anti-corruption efforts and adhering to the measures outlined in the matrix prepared by the Authority, in line with the proposed solutions.
