The branch of the Land, Survey and Urban Planning Authority in Hodeidah Governorate organized a cultural gathering on the Corniche of Hodeidah City on Tuesday to commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), under the slogan 'At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.'
During the event, First Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Bishri highlighted that the atmosphere of joy and celebration across Hodeidah reflects the deep bond Yemenis hold with the Messenger of Allah. He stressed that this spiritual connection is embodied in Yemen's firm stance in defense of the causes of the Islamic nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.
He noted that celebrating the Prophet's birth reaffirms the presence of his message in the life of the Muslim community and reflects the Yemenis' adherence to his path of dignity and freedom, proving their unwavering determination to continue on the path of steadfastness until victory is achieved.
Al-Bishri pointed out that the coincidence of this commemoration with Yemen's achievements in resisting enemy conspiracies signifies that the celebration is also a renewal of allegiance to the Prophet's school—a school that shaped a proud nation capable of breaking hegemony.
He described the Prophet's Birthday as the greatest message of loyalty to the Messenger, emphasizing that through this celebration, Yemenis reaffirm their solidarity with the oppressed in Palestine , Gaza with steadfastness and principled resolve.
He further stressed that under the wisdom and Quranic vision of the Leader of the Revolution, the celebration has transcended beyond festivity to become a platform for strengthening collective faith identity, renewing resolve to confront American-Zionist tyranny, and foiling its schemes, inspired by the Prophet's message of justice and support for the truth.
Deputy Governor for Services Affairs, Mohammed Halisi, noted that the occasion serves as a constant reminder of the greatness of the Prophet's message, which illuminated humanity's path to justice and freedom. He added that by celebrating today, Yemenis renew their commitment to follow in his footsteps.
He emphasized that the participation of the Authority's staff reflects institutional and national commitment to upholding the values of truth brought by the Prophet, translating them into public service, and embodying awareness that their mission extends beyond administrative work to being part of the national struggle for dignity and independence.
For his part, Deputy Director of the Authority's branch, Ahmed Al-Marouni, affirmed that the Authority, by marking this occasion, reiterates its duty to society and the protection of people's rights. He called on the event to be a motivation for greater awareness and for emulating the Prophet's example in responsibility and selfless giving.
He underlined that such commemorations strengthen faith values in future generations and reaffirm Yemenis' loyalty to the divine message. He further stressed that the celebration represents an opportunity for the Muslim nation to return to the Prophet's path in confronting deviation and confusion.
Meanwhile, Judge Mohammed Al-Saafani, speaking on behalf of scholars, said that celebrating the Prophet's birth is in essence celebrating the birth of a nation and an eternal message that continues to inspire hope and steadfastness in facing challenges. He explained that this anniversary reminds Muslims of their ability to restore their civilizational role once they return to the Prophet's teachings and make his values the foundation of unity, strength, and dignity.
He added that Yemenis, by holding this commemoration despite more than ten years of aggression and blockade, are sending a clear message to the world that they remain steadfast on the Prophet's path, upholding his principles until victory is achieved. He affirmed that this steadfastness reflects deep awareness that celebrating the Prophet's Birthday is a practical stance manifested in the arenas of struggle and resilience in defense of the nation and its mission.

Germany considers 'E1' settlement project violation of international law
Berlin – SABA: The German Foreign Ministry announced today, Wednesday, its outright rejection of the Israeli settlement project 'E1,' describing it as a violation of international law, and urged 'Israel' to immediately halt all its settlement activities. Earlier today, the Israeli occupation authorities approved a settlement construction plan in the 'E1' area east of occupied Jerusalem, which includes the construction of more than 3,401 housing units, in addition to establishing a new settlement called 'Ash'ah'el,' comprising 342 settlement units and public buildings. The 'Peace Now' movement indicated that the approval of settlement construction in 'E1' was carried out at unprecedented speed. Last week, the extremist occupation government's Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, declared that the 'E1' settlement plan effectively links the Ma'ale Adumim settlement with Jerusalem, severs the geographical continuity between Ramallah and Bethlehem, and represents the final nail in the coffin of the idea of a Palestinian state.
