SINGAPORE: Chinese action star Jet Li recently underwent surgery, he revealed in a social media post. In a Douyin post last Sunday, the 62-year-old, a Singaporean citizen since 2009, shared two photos: one of himself on a hospital bed and another taken outside the operating theatre. "I experienced another trial of impermanence recently," he wrote in the caption. He later posted a video reel on Douyin of himself being wheeled into the operating theatre by medical staff. "Some hardware issues, returning to the factory for repair," he wrote. "Thank you, everyone for your concern, don't worry too much about me. Rest, I just need a little rest."
