Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce shut down bizarre fan-fueled rumor about their relationship

Taylor Swift is setting the record straight on one of the strangest rumors to surface about her relationship with Travis Kelce. While joining her boyfriend and his brother Jason Kelce on their New Heights podcast earlier this week, the pop star, 35, addressed speculation that she secretly suited up as a bear in Adam Sandler 's Happy Gilmore 2. 'This is one of those ones where [Travis and I] will send it to each other and I'm like, "Hey, did you hear I was the bear?" And he's like, "Yeah, did you hear we bought a house in Lake Como?"' Swift joked during the episode. 'Whoever did the bear acting was exquisite.' In the film, Kelce makes a cameo as a waiter who ends up covered in honey before being mauled by a bear, which quickly sparked online theories that the 14-time Grammy winner was the one behind the costume. Swift laughed off the rumors, but admitted she was flattered. 'I can deny [the rumor],' she said. 'At this point, we're like, of course they think I'm inside of the bear costume. I'm honored to be thought of in that context because I loved that movie so much, I watched it multiple times. Loved it so much.' The singer also took a moment to praise Kelce's scene partner Bad Bunny, who plays the character responsible for dousing the Kansas City Chiefs star in honey. 'He absolutely delighted me in that movie,' she raved. 'He's amazing. His comedic timing is so good.' The theory that Swift made a quiet cameo in the film came after she shared a glowing review of Happy Gilmore 2 on social media. 'Happy Gilmore 2 had me cackling and cheering the whole movie!' she wrote on her Instagram Story last month. 'An absolute must watch, 13/10, go watch it on @netflix as soon as humanly possible.' She even added a honey emoji, making a sly reference to a scene. Kelce's cameo is just one of many celebrity appearances in Sandler's golf sequel, which also features Kid Cudi, Nick Swardson, Eminem, Post Malone and Margaret Qualley, alongside returning cast members Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald and Ben Stiller. Happy Gilmore 2 is now streaming on Netflix. The couple also gave a rare glimpse of how their relationship unfolded in the public eye after he attended one of her Eras Tour concerts in July 2023. Travis planned to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it, but he was unable to meet her after the show. Later, he talked about it on the podcast, which Taylor heard, leading to them finally meeting. 'This dude didn't get a meet and greet, and he's making it everyone's problem,' Swift quipped. The Karma hitmaker compared their love story to being in 'an 80's John Hughes movie' adding, 'and he was just like standing outside my window with a boom box just being like "I wanna date you!"' 'I was like, if this guy isn't crazy — which is a big if — this is sort of what I've been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager.' Swift also gushed that she was grateful to the New Heights podcast, for helping her land her boyfriend after 'Travis decided to use [the podcast] as his personal dating app.' The performer went on to praise Travis for 'the way he could make' her laugh. 'He's just a vibe booster in everyone's life that he's in. He's a human exclamation point,' she explained.

I knocked 5 years off my age with TWO quick beauty swaps – people say I'm in my ‘clean girl' era & ‘look so much better'

A WOMAN has left people gobsmacked after she knocked five years off her appearance thanks to two quick beauty swaps. It seems that after countless years of rocking cakey make-up, orange fake tan and mega fluttery eyelashes, many women in the world are finally realising that less is more. 2 2 The so-called ''clean girl'' aesthetic promotes enhancing natural beauty - rather than covering it up. With a glow-down, out are the hair extensions, fake nails and lash extensions - and in is learning how to take care of your skin to make it radiant. As beauty buffs are learning to love and rock their authentic selves, thousands have taken to social media to show off their epic transformations - including TikTok user Nicole (@ glitchnicole). For the past six years, Nicole had been getting facial fillers - and while at the time she didn't care what others had to say about the look, Nicole recently decided she was ready for a major change. ''It made me really happy. But now, I'm in a different stage and I wanted to reverse it - and I just did it,'' she said in a video posted this week. ''It is my body, my choice and my happiness. I'm really happy with my decision now but I'm not going to deny, I was also really happy then - and that is exactly the point. ''You don't always change something because you hate yourself - sometimes you do it simply because you want to, because it feels right for you.'' Nicole added that while she loved that people were ''going natural'', there could be a time where she could return to fillers - if that's what she wanted. As well as ditching fillers for the time being, the beauty buff has also said goodbye to another popular trend - hair extensions. Up until the jaw-dropping makeover, the TikToker was sporting Rapunzel-like hair - which weighed a whopping 400g, she revealed in a follow-up clip. I've lost 9 stone & am barely recognisable from my former self - my transformation's so insane people even think it's AI According to the stunner, the transformation has knocked off ''five years of age'' - and it's all thanks to giving up these two looks. But while Nicole may eventually have facial fillers again, one thing is clear - social media users cannot get enough of her new self. Posted just two days ago, the glow-down has racked up more than 150k views, with hundreds in awe at how much younger she looked. Four ways to give yourself a glowdown Thick fluffly lashes are out, so is the fake tan and long how to have the ultimate glow-down in four steps... The term "glow-down" refers to a woman removing what once was the most popular beauty choices, for a more natural look. Eyelash extensions - Thick, bold "Russian lashes" used to be all the rage, but nowadays, girls are opt for subtle, individual eyelash extensions to lengthen what they already have. Nails - Gone are the long, plastic talons, more women are favouring BIAB or gel manis. Hair colour - Remember when everyone wanted icy white hair? Not anymore! Millions of women are trying to go back to their roots (literally), and have soft blondes, and warm gold tones added to their hair, in a bid to achieve the "old money blonde" look. Makeup - Sculpting your face shape through the art of contouring is no more. Ladies are adding freckles and sweeping blush across cheekbones instead. One person wrote: ''You look SOOO much better. Younger. More vibrant.'' Another fan agreed, adding: ''Incredible honestly!! Best decision you've made to remove them fillers.'' Someone else chimed in: ''An angel got her wings back.'' ''Absolutely YES! You looked like you were already in your 40s!! Now you're glowing,'' a viewer commented. ''I'm Dutch, and even for a Dutch person I can be very straight forward. So my honest opinion: best decision ever and please don't ever do it again!'' a fan begged,

Edinburgh local who 'despises' Fringe brands festival an 'embarrassment' in tirade

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info An Edinburgh local has shot out online about the Edinburgh Fringe, calling it an "embarrassment" where tourists have "no respect for locals". They posted an angry video to TikTok, showing a mobbed Edinburgh street packed with tourists amid the capital's busiest time of year. In the caption they included a tirade against Festival season and the crowds it brings to Edinburghers' doorsteps. They said: "Words cannot describe how much I DESPITE this sh**** festival. There's little in the world I hate more than the embarrassment that is the Edinburgh Fringe. "Nobody has any respect for the people who live here. Just full of the same unfunny middle class English shows every year. "I could write a book on why this festival needs to be terminated." Fellow capital residents joined ranks in the comments to share their frustration at the Fringe. One commented: "At this point Edinburgh is just a theme park for the English". A miffed parent added: "My daughter has to elbow her way to work from Waverley during August. She booked her own holiday days this year to miss some of it". Another shared: "I do wish BBC would give more coverage to the Edinburgh festival, not the Fringe". However, there were many Edinburgh residents in who disagreed with the hot take and offered alternative points-of-view on the festival. One said: "We live somewhere with the world's largest arts festival on our doorstep. We're so lucky." Another offered: "I stayed in Edinburgh for about 20 years and it's one of the best things about the city. Can't beat a wee sunny afternoon in the Pleasance Courtyard". A third penned: "Disagree and I've lived in Edinburgh during the festival. It's amazing for tourists and culturally important". Others added: "It's an essential tool for people who want to get into the arts and it's a feeder for some of the best British theatre and TV".
