She made a cracking start to the season with a win on the sand at Southwell before following up nicely here two runs ago. Her hat-trick bid was thwarted by a shockingly slow start at Salisbury which gave her little chance. She's usually better away at the stalls and can get back on track with a speedier start in this modest race.
MR JETMAN (7.22 Ripon, nb)
He was impressive when scoring over course and distance 17 days ago. He has never been out of the frame at this Yorkshire track and should be right there again.
Has been second on all three starts and can go one better. He shapes as though this step up in distance will suit.
Looks good for the Lucky 15. She took a fair step forward when second at Chester last time and looks ready to win for William Haggas.

A woman has been charged after the body of Polish mother, Izabela Zablocka, was uncovered by police 15 years after she vanished. Anna Podedworna, 39, has been charged with murder, preventing a lawful and decent burial and perverting the course of justice. It comes after the body of Izabela Zablocka, 30, was found in a garden in Derby on June 1 of this year, having been missing for over a decade. Izabela, who moved to Britain in 2009, lived on Princes Street and worked at the former Cranberry Foods Turkey and Chicken Factory in nearby Scropton. She last made contact with her family in Poland on August 28, 2010 and despite their efforts to trace her, she was never found. Samanatha Shallow, Deputy Chief Crown Prosecutor in the East Midlands, said: 'Following a review of the evidence provided by Derbyshire Constabulary, we have authorised criminal charges in relation to the death of Izabela Zablocka 'Ms Zablocka went missing in August 2010, when she was aged 30. Her body was recovered in Derby on 1 June 2025. 'Anna Podedworna, 39, from Derby, has been charged with her murder. She has also been charged with preventing a lawful and decent burial and perverting the course of justice. 'She will appear at Derby Magistrates' Court on Friday, 6 June 2025. 'Our thoughts remain with the family of Ms Zablocka at this time. 'The Crown Prosecution Service reminds all concerned that criminal proceedings against the defendant are active and that she has the right to a fair trial. 'It is extremely important that there should be no reporting, commentary or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings.'

Ex-footballer Jay Emmanuel-Thomas jailed over £600,000 cannabis smuggling plot
A former Arsenal academy footballer had a 'catastrophic error of judgment' when he engaged in a £600,000 drug smuggling plot while he was out of contract. Jay Emmanuel-Thomas was arrested after officers from the National Crime Agency seized cannabis as it was being brought through Stansted Airport by his girlfriend and her friend. Chelmsford Crown Court in Essex previously heard how the women, whom Emmanuel-Thomas recruited, believed they were importing gold. Yet Border Force officers detected roughly 60kg (132lb) of the drug in two suitcases, which had arrived in the UK from Bangkok, Thailand, via Dubai. The 34-year-old footballer, of Cardwell Road in Gourock, Inverclyde, was arrested in the town in September 2024. He pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to fraudulent evasion of the prohibition on the importation of cannabis between July 1 2024 and September 2 2024. Emmanuel-Thomas was sacked by Scottish Championship side Greenock Morton after his arrest last year. Prosecutor David Josse KC told Chelmsford Crown Court the 'interception' of the two women – Emmanuel-Thomas's girlfriend Yasmin Piotrowska and her friend Rosie Rowland – happened at the airport. He said it 'became apparent this defendant, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, had been involved in their recruitment to travel to Thailand '. He noted Emmanuel-Thomas 'had played a few games, 11 in total, for a club in Thailand'. The barrister said Emmanuel-Thomas had 'some awareness and understanding of the scale of the operation' and was acting in an 'operational management function' in the plot. He pointed out the defendant's 'relationship with Ms Piotrowska' when describing the recruitment of the two women. The footballer, whose former clubs include Ipswich, Bristol City, QPR, Livingston, Aberdeen and Thai side PTT Rayong, was sentenced on Thursday. The bearded defendant wore a grey suit jacket and black shirt, with his long hair swept back as he listened to proceedings from the secure dock. Ms Piotrowska sat in the public gallery and wept for much of the hearing. Alex Rose, for Emmanuel-Thomas, said: 'The financial gain in this case for Mr Emmanuel-Thomas was £5,000.' Mr Rose said the defendant was a father-of-two and had made a 'catastrophic error of judgment'. He said a 'period of being out of contract led to very significant financial hard times' and he 'succumbed to temptation'. 'Although he had previously experienced periods of being in between contracts or – putting it another way – being unemployed as a footballer, they had largely been on the back of fairly lucrative long-term contracts,' said Mr Rose. He said the 'situation was rather different in the background to this'. 'Having been out of contract prior to signing for Greenock Morton, he had a brief contract with Kidderminster Harriers but that was very much a short-term contract, almost to try to assist someone he had a good relationship with,' he said. Mr Rose continued: 'His football career is finished and that's something he has brought entirely on himself. 'It's a devastating blow for somebody who had such promise and such an impressive football career.' Judge Alexander Mills, jailing Emmanuel-Thomas for four years, said: 'It's through your own action that you will no longer be known for playing professional football. 'You will be known as a criminal. A professional footballer who threw it all away.' The judge said Emmanuel-Thomas had played five games for Greenock Morton and was on a £600 per week contract at the time of the incident. He said the defendant 'recruited' his girlfriend and her friend and was 'essentially turning the importation of cannabis into an all-expenses paid holiday in the Far East', arranging business class flights, hotel costs and discussing in messages how to maximise their time on the Thai island of Ko Samui. Emmanuel-Thomas looked straight ahead as the judge read out his sentence. He nodded towards the public gallery as he was led to the cells. Ms Piotrowska, 33, of Purves Road, Kensal Rise, north-west London, and Ms Rowland, 29, of Southend Road, Chelmsford, Essex, denied the charge and at an earlier hearing prosecutors offered no evidence in their case. Mr Josse said at an earlier hearing that the women 'said they thought they were importing gold not cannabis', and the judge directed that not guilty verdicts be recorded for them.

Boy, 16, dies in hit-and-run as man arrested
A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a teenager was killed in a hit-and-run collision in Sheffield. Emergency services responded shortly after 4.50pm on Wednesday to reports of an accident in Staniforth Road in the Darnall area of the city. South Yorkshire Police said it is understood that a grey Audi drove towards three electric bikes, colliding with one rider. The car continued to travel following the crash with the electric bike and was further involved in a collision with a teenage pedestrian. 1:27 The driver of the Audi failed to stop at the scene. Graphic CCTV footage of the incident appears to show the car veer into the opposite carriageway before hitting the 16-year-old pedestrian at speed. The boy was taken to hospital. Despite emergency treatment, he died as a result of his injuries. The boy's family has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. An 18-year-old man, who was the rider of the electric bike, remains in hospital with serious injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening. A 20-year-old man in Kent has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in police custody. Three people, a 45-year-old woman and two men aged 26 and 46, have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. All three remain in custody. Senior Investigating Officer in the case, Detective Chief Inspector Benjamin Wood, said: "This is a tragic incident in which an entirely innocent bystander, who was going about his daily business, has sadly lost his life. Our thoughts are with the boy's loved ones, and we remain focused on securing justice for them. "We know that this incident will have caused concern in the local community, and we have a team of detectives working at pace to piece together the circumstances which unfolded. "We're aware of footage being shared online and I'd like to reiterate our message to the public to withhold from speculating or circulating videos which may cause distress to the boy's family. "If you have any footage, imagery or information that may help our investigation then please share this directly with us - it may form an important part of our enquiries. We are also keen to hear from the riders of two electric bikes who were in the area at the time of the incident."
