Tom Clover's filly had plenty in hand when getting off the mark at Wolverhampton 23 days ago. The handicapper hasn't gone mad with her opening mark of 72 and there's a lot more to come. GILLALI LASS (2.30 Musselburgh, nb) Has been a close second on her past two starts, both at Catterick. She has enough pace for the five-furlong trip and can end her run of bad luck here. Good ground suits and trainer David O'Meara is in decent form. ANGLE LAND (3.45 Lingfield, treble) Landed a game win at Yarmouth two runs ago and was just touched off there last time. A 1lb rise in the weights gives her a chance and Silvestre De Sousa gets back on board which is a major plus as he steered her last win. ATMOSPHERE (2.15 Lingfield) Looks good for the Lucky 15. He had a bit up his sleeve when striking at Thirsk last time and is back from the same handicap mark. Horse racing tips: ‘No penalty for hammering rivals last time out' – Templegate's Monday NAP

TEMPLEGATE'S Monday picks are below. Back a horse by clicking their odds. RECOBELLA (8.20 Beverley, nap) Hammered her rivals at Nottingham last week and crucially escapes a penalty for that win in an apprentice race. It was her second run for the yard and first try over 1m2f in Britain, which brought about marked improvement. With conditions ideal and confidence high, she can follow up with plenty to spare. MILTEYE (8.50 Beverley, nb) Got his reward for a string of consistent runs when landing a big-field handicap at Carlisle on soft ground. A 3lb rise looks lenient, he stays well and the rain is a plus. OPAL STORM (6.50 Beverley, treble) Was second in this last year and went close in a higher grade at Ayr last time. She handles soft ground and has a good record over today's trip. JUDGE FRANK (8.40 Windsor, Lucky 15) Returned to form with a close third at Bath last time and is close to his last winning mark. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up FINEST VIEW (3.13 Stratford, nap) She is chasing a fantastic four-timer and was impressive over course and distance last time, tanking along before quickening away. She's still improving and has a cracking chance of going in again from just 1lb higher in the weights. HIDDEN VERSE (5.45 Redcar, nb) Won with loads in hand at Chepstow on Thursday. He's clearly on the up and should take some stopping, even with a penalty. Stepping up to this sharp six furlongs holds no fears. ELEMENTAL EYE (3.25 Redcar, treble) Has been knocking on the door and this looks a good chance. This marathon trip and ground suit and he's well in off the same mark as a good Ayr effort.
