Education Sector in Sana'a commemorates Sarkha anniversary
The Education Sector in Sana'a Governorate today organized a speech and cultural event to commemorate the anniversary of the Scream in the Face of the Arrogant. This event, in support of the decisions and choices made by the leadership, and as a declaration of combat readiness, was held under the slogan "The Scream in the Face of the Arrogant: A Weapon and a Position."
At the event, Abdul Qadir al-Jilani, Secretary-General of the Governorate's Local Council, emphasized the importance of commemorating the Scream in order to consolidate the Quranic project brought by the martyred leader Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, embody it in practice, and reinforce the concept of loyalty to God, His Messenger, and the believers.
He pointed out that the martyred leader returned the nation to its correct path by standing up to the forces of arrogance, explaining that the slogan of the Scream exposed the enemies of the nation.
Al-Jilani called for understanding the meanings of the slogan and implementing it practically as a renaissance project in various aspects.
During the event, attended by Deputy Governor Abdul-Mughni Dawood, Deputy Governor for Education and Youth Taleb Dahan addressed the slogan's origins, connotations, and meanings, as well as its impact on the nation's enemies.
He explained that the slogan was born from a sense of responsibility, suffering, and innocence of God's enemies. He noted that the martyr leader, through the Quranic project he established and the slogan "The Scream," was able to shatter the wall of silence and fear at a time when the nation was living in subservience and submission to the forces of hegemony and arrogance.
He emphasized that the slogan represents a weapon and a stance against arrogant enemies, pointing to their attempts to eliminate it from the time it was first chanted by the martyr leader Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and that it continues to be a source of concern and annoyance for them.
The event, attended by the deputy head of the education sector in the governorate, Mohammed Khamis and Sultan al-Hakimi, and the heads of the departments, featured a poem by poet Dhaif Allah al-Rajhi.

Yemen bans use of foreign currency in local trade
Yemen's internationally-recognized government announced on Tuesday that all commercial transactions within areas under its control must be conducted using the Yemeni rial, prohibiting the use of foreign currencies for domestic trade and services. According to the state-run Saba news agency, the decision prohibits foreign currency use in transactions like tuition fees, medical expenses, rent and travel tickets, where foreign payment is not inherently required, reports citing foreign media. Ministers and provincial governors are tasked with enforcing the ban and reporting progress to the prime minister on a regular basis, Saba reported. This measure aims to strengthen the rial's sovereignty and stability. Currency traders in Aden told Xinhua that the rial surged to 1,617 per US dollar in government-controlled areas on Monday, a 40-percent recovery from nearly 2,900 weeks earlier. Yemen faces an unprecedented financial crisis after more than two years without oil revenue, which constitutes 70 percent of government income. The crisis deepened following Houthi attacks on oil export facilities in southern Yemen in late 2022, and amid the prolonged conflict since 2014. The war-torn Arab nation remains divided between the internationally-recognised government based in Aden and the Houthis that control the capital Sanaa and northern regions.

Women's protests in several Saada districts in solidarity with Gaza
Sa'ada – Saba: The Women's Authority in the districts of Sahar, Saada, Al-Safra, Haydan, Majz, and other areas in Saada's subdistricts organized rallies in solidarity with the Palestinian people and in protest against the genocide and starvation they are facing. Participants condemned the brutal massacres and starvation campaign carried out by the Zionist enemy in the Gaza Strip with clear complicity and participation from the United States and Western countries. Statements issued from the rallies denounced the disgraceful and shameful positions of Arab and Islamic regimes in the face of crimes committed by the Zionists against humanity — crimes that shock the conscience. They held the American enemy, the international community, and the collaborating and normalizing regimes fully responsible for the Zionist entity's ongoing crimes in Gaza around the clock. The statements called on all the peoples of the Islamic nation to support the steadfast resistance in Gaza with weapons and all means that strengthen its resilience, stressing that this is the wise and correct choice. They affirmed continued large-scale activity as part of this honorable stance — striving in the path of God, fulfilling their responsibility, and remaining steadfast in a clear, firm, escalating position in support of their brothers in Palestine. The statements also praised the sincere and honorable positions of the revolutionary leadership, the armed forces, and the Yemeni people in supporting their brothers in Gaza, defending Al-Aqsa, and honoring the blood of the martyrs. Yemen's Houthis Claim Three Drone Strikes Inside Israel
Sana'a – Yemen's Houthi movement announced Friday that it had launched three drone strikes deep inside Israeli territory, targeting strategic sites in Lod, Beersheba, and Ashkelon. The attacks mark a dramatic escalation in the group's involvement in the broader Middle East conflict, as it positions itself as a military actor in solidarity with Gaza. Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Houthi-led Yemeni Armed Forces, said in a televised statement that the operations were 'qualitative and successful,' claiming the drones struck Ben Gurion Airport in Lod and undisclosed 'vital targets' in Beersheba and Ashkelon. He warned international shipping companies operating in Israeli ports that their vessels 'will be targeted regardless of destination' unless they cease cooperation. Israeli military sources confirmed that two drones were intercepted without triggering air raid sirens, in line with current defense protocols. However, footage and reports from regional media suggest that at least one drone may have reached its target, causing panic and temporary disruption. The strikes come just days after the Houthis claimed responsibility for launching a hypersonic missile—dubbed 'Palestine-2'—toward Ben Gurion Airport, in retaliation for what they described as Israeli provocations at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
