Exclusive: Behind-the-Scenes of Party Girl Rose Gray's Pop-Up Show in NYC
It's a beautiful thing when party people come together. At least, that's what rising pop supernova Rose Gray proved during her impromptu show at NYC hotspot Jean's on July 23. Her breakout debut album, Louder, Please, boasts electrifying, hypnotic anthems with nods to 2000s club culture that are keeping that very energy alive two decades later. Upon the first note of any of her songs, you'll easily catch on to the fact that Rose is an it-girl in every sense. The British artist is making waves across the pond as she joins her party girl predecessor, Kesha, as a supporting act on the Tits Out Tour this summer. She's also brushed shoulders with some of Hollywood's elite off-stage, from Gracie Abrams to her longtime love and fellow up-and-comer, Harris Dickinson. If that wasn't enough proof that Rose effortlessly oozes star power, then her long line of fans awaiting her arrival might do the trick. 'I had a 5 p.m. soundcheck at Jean's, and as I left to get ready at the hotel, I saw a queue of fans wearing my merch, holding roses, and holding my CDs. Honestly, I wasn't even sure anyone was going to show up. But the night was wild,' Rose exclusively tells Cosmopolitan of her pop-up show. 'I played new remixes, jumped on the decks. The energy was unreal. Jean's was so chic. I loved it, and I can't wait to be back mid-August to play Night Club 101.' Luckily for us, Rose brought us along for her slinky, sublime, and sweat-filled pop-up show at Jean's through her POV. So, come for her chic looks and signature wine-red hair flips, and stay for her iconic party girl photo captions, shared exclusively with Cosmo.

Tom Cruise Attends Oasis Concert Despite Gallagher Brothers Once Claiming They ‘Hate' the ‘Little F–ker'
Tom Cruise doesn't look back in anger. Despite Liam and Noel Gallagher dissing him once years ago, the actor recently attended one of Oasis' reunion concerts in London. As captured in an Instagram photo posted by Goldie on Saturday (July 26), Cruise joined the British music producer in the stands at Wembley Stadium for Oasis' first of five performances this month at the famed venue. In the snap, the Top Gun star smiles excitedly and holds up a 'hang loose' hand symbol while posing next to Goldie at Friday's (July 25) show. More from Billboard Oasis' Reunion Tour Is Only Getting Better: 7 Best Moments From Wembley Stadium's Opening Night Pantera Cancel Tour Dates to Mourn Ozzy Osbourne Ed Sheeran Expands 2026 Australia and New Zealand Tour Cruise also appears in the background of a clip also posted by Goldie, who dances along to the Gallagher brothers' set as the action-movie icon cheerfully interacts with fellow concertgoers behind him. The outing comes nearly two decades after the Oasis siblings made their dislike of Cruise very clear in 2007 documentary Lord Don't Slow Me Down. In a clip from the tour film, Noel says frankly, 'He's a little f–ker, and he's not been in one good film in his entire career.' Liam replied at the time, 'I hate Tom Cruise,' calling the actor a 'bastard.' Even so, Cruise was one of thousands of Oasis fans who couldn't resist coming out to see the band's first tour in years. The Gallagher siblings had nurtured a bitter sibling feud for about 16 years until August of last year, when they announced that they'd be hitting the road together once again. 'The guns have fallen silent,' Oasis wrote in a statement at the time. 'The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.' Months later, the group's Live '25 Tour kicked off July 4 in Cardiff, Wales. Following stops in Manchester, England, and now in London, the bandmates will spend the next four months touring through Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and Latin America — meaning Cruise and other fans will have plenty more opportunities to see Oasis live this year. Scottish TV in crisis as demand collapses amid economic gloom
Scottish TV has been plunged into crisis as economic gloom hits advertising revenues and demand for new shows. Scottish Television (STV), which holds the Channel 3 licence in Scotland and is the country's largest commercial broadcaster, has warned that its revenues and profits would be 'materially' below expectations this year. Shares in the broadcaster plunged by as much as a third to their lowest level in more than 12 years in response to the update, pushing its market value below £90m. ITV, which licences many of its programmes to the Scottish channel, was also down 2pc. STV suffered a 10pc drop in advertising revenue in the first six months of 2025, which it said was in line with expectations following strong trading in the same period last year during the Euros football tournament. But bosses warned the market had since deteriorated further, with ad revenues plunging by a fifth in July. In addition to the advertising downturn, STV warned of a significant slowdown in its production division, which is the largest in Scotland and is behind shows such as the BBC's Blue Lights and upcoming Sky drama Amadeus. Studio businesses are considered a key area of growth for broadcasters as they grapple with a decline in traditional TV viewing. But rising costs and tough competition from streaming rivals result in many channels having to cut back on programming spend, leading to fewer commissions. ITV last week said it was slashing its programming spending as part of a wider cost-cutting strategy, while Channel 4 is also investing significantly less in making TV shows. Focus on Britain STV said that while it is working on projects for US streaming giants including Netflix and Apple, it remains primarily UK-focused, meaning it has been 'disproportionately' hit by a drying up of demand in the domestic market. STV forecasts production revenues of between £75m and £85m for the full year, well behind its targets of £200m by the end of the decade. Overall, STV said it was lowering its full-year revenue forecasts to between £165m and £180m with a profit margin of around 7pc. Richard Bernstein, the head of fund manager Crystal Amber, which was previously the largest shareholder in STV, described the profit warning as 'vicious'. He said: 'We've been tracking the company and saw today's warning as inevitable: it was over a year since its last new studio commission, we think the worst is yet to come.' In May, STV announced that it would combine its traditional TV and streaming businesses into a single division, aiming to streamline the company for the digital age. It also announced plans to launch a new Scotland-focused commercial radio station while doubling revenues in its studios unit. Bosses said they were ramping up cost-cutting plans with a further £750,000 in savings identified, bringing the company's total target for the year to £2.5m. Further cost-cutting is expected next year. Broaden your horizons with award-winning British journalism.
