A MAN has sadly died after his 220lb wife lost her balance and fell on him in a tragic accident.
The 59-year-old, described as slight in build, was reportedly smothered to death after his wife fell out of bed and got wedged against a wall.

She is said to have stumbled as she got out of bed and crushed her partner who had been lying on the floor.
Neighbours were alerted to the tragic situation by the woman's screams after she became trapped between the bed and the wall.
They are said to have rushed to their help in the early hours of Monday morning.
The neighbours managed to lift her off him, but he was already unconscious by the time firefighters and paramedics got there.
Efforts of medical responders to revive him after he went into cardiac arrest were unsuccessful.
The woman's weight is believed to be a key factor in why she was unable to get up after getting trapped.
It took five men to lift her off her partner, Portuguese daily Correio da Manha has reported.
The tragic events unfolded in Campanha on the outskirts of Porto.
Portuguese cops have investigated, but determined it was a freak accident and ruled out foul play.
One source close to the investigation said: "It's been categorised as an accidental asphyxia.

'It's obviously a very unusual death but there was no criminal intent.
"It was a stumble by the woman as she got out of bed and tried to move closer to her husband who was lying on the floor that led to what happened."
The dead man's partner is understood to have been offered grief counselling.
They had lived together as husband and wife for several years, according to local media reports.
However, they had not been formally married.
It comes after more than a dozen people have been hospitalised after eating the poisoned sandwiches from a food truck in Italy.
Two people have sadly died after biting into the food near the town of Diamante in Calabria.
Nine people are being investigated in relation to this, it is understood.
The food truck where the sandwiches were sold has now been seized.

The facility, run by Europa-park, is located in Rust, Baden-Württemberg, near the French border. German police said the sick attack took place on Saturday, August 9, L'Alsace reported. After sexually abusing her, the suspect reportedly left her alone in the woods. She was then found by a local passerby around 10pm the same day. The area she was discovered in was about 5km from the water park, and she was only wearing a swimsuit. The suspect is reportedly a 31-year-old Romanian national. He was living in the local region at the time of the attack, reports say. Cops are desperately continuing their manhunt for the suspect. And they put out an appeal for any information that may lead to his arrest. Iceland is believed to be the first major UK supermarket to bring in incentives for shoppers who snitch on the criminals. "I'd actually like to announce that we will give a pound to any customer who points out a shoplifter," He told Channel 5 News on Wednesday. "We will put it on their bonus card if they see any customer in our stores who are undertaking that offence." Asked if he thought the policy would deter thieves, he said: "Well, yeah, because some people see it as a victimless crime. It is not. "It also keeps prices from being lowered because it's a cost to the business, it's a cost to the hours that we pay our colleagues, as well as it obviously being about intimidation and violence." Mr Walker also revealed that shoplifting costs the supermarket chain more than £20million a year. "That's not £20 million of profit. That's just £20 million that we could pay in more hours to our colleagues or in lowering prices," he said. "So we'd like our customers to help us lower our prices even more by pointing out shoplifters and then we'll give them a quid back." It comes after The Sun revealed that Britain's shoplifting epidemic is costing households almost £147 a year, as stores hike prices to recoup their losses and pay for extra security measures. Some retailers, including Ann Summers, are even arming staff with body cameras to combat theft. There were 516,971 shoplifting crimes last year, according to the Office for National Statistics - a 20 per cent increase on 2023 when 429,873 offences were recorded. Mr Walker's comments come just days after Iceland announced it would have to hike food prices following the Rachel Reeves' tax raid on businesses. In recently published accounts, the retailer said National Insurance and minimum wage hikes had led to increased supplier costs. It was a significant U-turn to comments made by Mr Walker in January, when he told The Telegraph that companies should stop "wallowing" and complaining about the measures announced in Labour's Autumn Budget.
