This new Riyadh venture brought under the partnership with Syed Wayez Ahmed, Group CEO of Wayez International Group of Companies, Mohammed Asghar Ali, Managing Director of Peacock Group of Hotels and Restaurants, and Mohammad Ali Al Jaidi, CEO of MAJIC Investment Company, India and Zaki, Vice President of Wayez International Group of Companies, promised to serve the taste with quality containing Indian cuisine and Indo Chinese Cuisine.

Vivo Maintains Lead Amid Steady Growth in India's Smartphone Market
Vivo India smartphone market sold 70 million mobiles in the initial half-year of 2025 with the market experiencing a tiny 0.9 percent Vivo sales growth India year-over-year (year-over-year). Ahmedabad spacetech firm joins consortium for indigenous satellites
1 2 Ahmedabad: India's first fully indigenous commercial earth observation (EO) satellite constellation is taking shape, and Ahmedabad is playing a starring role. PierSight Space, a spacetech firm from the city, has joined a four-member private consortium selected by Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe), under the department of space, to build and operate the network. The Rs 1,200 crore project, under a pioneering public-private partnership (EO-PPP) model, will deploy 12 satellites equipped with synthetic aperture radar (SAR) for round-the-clock imaging in all weather. The consortium is led by PixxelSpace India and also includes Satsure Analytics India and Dhruva Space. Officials of IN-SPACe, headquartered in Ahmedabad, said that for the first time in India's space history, a private grouping will fund, design, build, and operate such a system, with the constellation expected to be launched over the next five years. The resulting EO data will serve critical sectors including climate change monitoring, disaster management, agriculture, infrastructure, marine surveillance, national security, and urban planning, said experts. Affordable housing may bear brunt of US tariffs
Kolkata: A collateral damage of US President Donald Trump's 50% tariff on Indian goods could be affordable housing, a leading real estate consultancy firm has warned. If that happens, Kolkata could take the biggest hit as the share of affordable housing in residential sales is the highest in Kolkata. Local developers though are confident they will be able to tide over the challenge as they feel the impact will be temporary. "Trade tensions between India and the US are mounting post the imposition of 50% tariffs as it is causing widespread trade disruptions. If not negotiated into moderation, they will massively impact many critical yet vulnerable sectors that drive India's affordable housing segment," said Anarock executive director (research & advisory) Prashant Thakur. But I do not believe this will have any long-term effect," he said, adding that the government can take serious steps to improve ease of doing business that can help reduce overhead and interest costs. Credai Kolkata president Siddharth Pansari felt any decline in the export of raw materials like steel can actually work to the housing industry's advantage as it can reduce home prices. "The definition of affordable housing has also changed. It has moved up from Rs 45 lakh to Rs 65 lakh in Kolkata. I don't think this segment will be majorly impacted by the tariff war," he said. Biplab Kumar, senior vice-president at NK Realtors, pointed out that affordable housing has been shrinking over the years. "In 2018, affordable housing priced up to Rs 45 lakh made up about 40% of total home sales. By 2021, that dropped to around 37%, and in the first half of 2025, it's fallen further to 32%. This clearly shows a shift in buyer preferences. That growing demand for mid-income housing could help offset some of the impact from the slowdown in the affordable segment," he remarked.
