Love Island is hit by new fix row as fans claim they've 'worked out' who will be dumped from the villa
In footage that is set to air on Sunday night, an unexpected couple will be asked to leave the villa, as all of this year's former Islanders make a surprise return.
Sources had previously claimed that the couple was chosen after many former Islanders began to 'question the interity' of their connection, but the dumped pair has not yet been revealed.
An insider told The Sun: 'This couple have been a big part of this series so this is a shocking moment.
'But having watched it back, ex- Islanders have become privy to action they weren't fully aware of and it left them more than questioning the integrity of this connection.'
Now fans are convinced that despite a huge row in Friday's episode, Meg and Dejon will keep their places in the villa, having already been saved once over fan favourites Megan and Conor.
Taking to social media, fans expressed their disbelief that the seemingly incompatible couple were receiving more votes than other islanders.
Addressing the ITV show's official X account, one fan fumed: 'FIX - you dumped the most natural compatible warm couple Conor and Megan and kept in devious Dejon and Fatal Attraction Meg just for the ratings. Its a fix love island [sic].'
Others agreed, writing: 'No sorry but love island. If they don't dump Meg and Dijon on Sunday I know it's 1000% a fix.
'No ex islander in their right might wouldn't vote for Meg and Dijon. They know how the public feel. It'll be you that's told them not to vote for them.';
'Love Island this is a f**king fix. All of them are going to target our Queens. Leaving Dejon and Meg to the finals.';
'The ex islanders are obvs not going to vote Meg and Dejon out. This is a fix.'
This is not the first time that the current season of the show has come under fire for seemingly being unfair.
One fan joked: 'the only way to fix love island atp is to stop all the public votes, stop the islanders from being able to save each other, and giving me and my friends the power to choose.'
Now fans are convinced that despite a huge row in Friday's episode, Meg and Dejon will keep their places in the villa, having already been saved over fan favourites Megan and Conor
The allegations come amid reports that the show is experiencing its lowest ever ratings, bringing in one million viewers that have since decreased in number from its opening episode.
This is a significant drop from the 2.5 million fans who tuned into the 2021 season and the 2.4 million who watched the opening episode in 2022.
Former Love Island winner Amber Gill speculated that the show has been losing popularity because of easily offended viewers.
Amber fumed: 'I've just seen articles about a girl saying someone's too glamorous for a 9-5 and everyone's like, "You can't say that!' I need everyone to get several grips."
'No wonder they come f**ing media trained, because God forbid you say anything out of line.
'I remember some of the s*** I said and trust me, I say worse in private!'

ITV are said to have been keen on signing him for some time - and bosses think they have found the ideal vehicle. A huge hit in Norway, The Box sees a dozen celebrities placed in separate boxes, each with a daring challenge to complete. It has been described as a cross between I'm A Celebrity and SAS: Who Dares Wins. A source told The Sun: 'The Box is massive in Norway, and the rights were quickly sold to Denmark and now the UK. They have long been sniffing around Gary and just needed to find the right format for him. Source "ITV are really excited about it - and believe they have finally found a worthy successor to Saturday Night Takeaway. 'They have long been sniffing around Gary and just needed to find the right format for him. 'They're confident they've found that now, and the BBC's loss is their gain.' A TV insider said: 'The scheduling hasn't yet been confirmed but filming takes place in the autumn, and the series is due to air early spring. 'It looks likely to get a Saturday night slot though, but obviously it's all still to play for.' Gary Lineker tears up as he bids emotional farewell to iconic Match of the Day after controversial BBC axe Ant and Dec's long-running show ended in April last year - and ITV have struggled to replace it. Lineker had been a fixture on BBC Saturday night screens for 26 years as host of Match of the Day. For the past eight years, he has been the BBC's highest paid broadcaster. Last month he still topped its annual pay league, earning £1.35million. He was due to quit the BBC after next summer's World Cup but was forced out in May after sharing a controversial post about Zionism on Instagram. 5 The new show is touted as the successor to Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway Credit: Rex 5 Lineker was a fixture on BBC Saturday night screens for 26 years Credit: BBC The dad of four — who had previously faced a string of controversies at the BBC — apologised but accepted his position was 'untenable'. British Grammy winner reveals teenage drug battle left her with speech problems and a driving ban
Clean Bandit released their new single Believe last month. Now, Grace Chatto, 39, the band's cellist and vocalist, has opened up about the emotional story behind the track, revealing her teenage battle with drugs that left her with speech difficulties and a driving ban. In a recent TikTok post, she shared: 'I speak so slowly because I took too many drugs when I was a teenager.' She also detailed other struggles she faces today, adding: 'I can't get car insurance because I had a driving ban.' Despite these challenges, the musician, whose band has topped charts with hits like Rather Be, Rockabye, and Symphony, said their latest single is poignant because it reminds her to count her blessings every morning. Alongside the caption 'I believe in us,' referencing the track featuring South African singer Lloyiso, she wrote: 'But I believe in us. Won a Grammy, gratitude for all that I have, I am strong, I'm nice, I am honest.' Her candid post resonated with fans, racking up more than 180,000 likes. It comes after the chart-topping British group were the victims of a shocking robbery in Ibiza last year - with £35,000 worth of equipment and cash stolen. The band had flown out to the Spanish party Island to record the music video for their single Cry Baby with DJ David Guetta. However, the exciting work trip quickly turned into a disaster when they returned from dinner to discover that someone had 'crowbarred the window and taken the lenses and laptops and cash'. Opening up about the ordeal in an interview with The Sun, band member Grace explained that they were filming footage for the video with David in the studio, before crashing at a friend's house for the night. The other two members of the group, Jack and Luke Patterson, had flown back to London to edit the video - but when Grace headed back to their hotel to grab the lenses, she realised what had happened. But, despite being 'scared' to sleep at their hotel following the robbery, the musician was partially relieved. She added: 'The main thing was that the footage was safe, because that would have been irreplaceable.' The band had flown out to the Spanish party Island to record the music video for their single Cry Baby with DJ David Guetta (pictured in June 2024) Meanwhile, the group hoped to get the stolen £35,000 back on insurance. They are planning to make a comeback to the music scene and drop their first album in six years in 2025, after struggling to 'get their momentum back' following the Covid-19 pandemic. During their career, the group have scored ten top ten singles, with their first being Rather Be featuring Jess Glynne, 35. The song topped charts worldwide and won a Grammy, paving the way for further success with hits like Rockabye and Symphony, and establishing them as a standout act in the music scene. Clean Bandit is expected to release their new album, CB3, in 2025. While a specific date is not yet available, their recent single, Believe featuring Lloyiso, was released on July 4th, suggesting the album is likely to follow later in the year.
