Concerns grow for missing woman with links to Glasgow

Pauline Burke was last seen at around 3.50pm on Tuesday, August 5, at the Galashiels Transport Interchange in the Scottish Borders.
Police say the 52-year-old, from Hawick, has connections to the Summerston area of North Glasgow.
Pauline is described as around 5ft 2ins, of medium build, with short, greying hair.
When she was last seen, she was wearing black trousers, a black body warmer and black Nike trainers. She also has reading glasses.

Inspector Colin Deans said: 'Concerns are growing for Pauline's welfare, and we need to make sure she is safe and well.
'Enquiries so far suggest she took a bus from Hawick to Galashiels. She may then have taken a train to Edinburgh, and she also has connections in the Summerston area of Glasgow.
'We are asking anyone who has seen Pauline or knows where she might be to get in touch.'

The family of a man who died after being found injured in a flat in Aberdeen have paid tribute to their "popular" son. ‌ Austin Ironside, 25, was found injured at a property on Skene Street in the Granite City at around 3pm on Sunday, August 3. He was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where he died two days later. ‌ Following the results of a post-mortem examination, police have confirmed they are treating his death as suspicious. ‌ In a statement released via Police Scotland, his family said: 'Austin was popular, with friends across the city, and would do anything to help others. He was always smiling and his infectious laugh brought light into the lives of everyone who knew him. We are all devastated by what has happened and would like privacy at this terrible time.' The investigation is being led by detectives from Police Scotland's Major Investigation Team. A picture taken on Monday showed a home on the street cordoned off with officers in attendance. No one has been arrested in connection with the incident. ‌ Detective Chief Inspector Carron McKellar said: 'Our thoughts remain with Austin's family and friends as they come to terms with their tragic loss. Extensive enquiries to establish the full circumstances remain ongoing and I would like to reassure the local community that everything is being done to trace who is responsible. "We will have a continued police presence in the area and I would like to thank the local community for their co-operation. We continue to appeal for anyone with any information which may assist our efforts to please come forward. Julie Wood said: "Such a tragic loss for the family, a young life gone too soon. Rest in peace, and know you're grandma and uncle and so many more family will be waiting for you." A man has been charged after cannabis worth £562,500 was seized in a raid in Dundee. On Thursday, officers executed a warrant at a property on Albert Street where a large quantity of cannabis was recovered. A 24-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the recovery. He is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Friday. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
