Vitalijs says one major warning sign of Jhaj's true intentions came after he spoke to the bride-to-be's mum.
She revealed the London-born predator had been in constant contact with the family for over a year.
Jhaj had spoiled the mum with money and gifts and even paid for a family holiday, Vitalijs claimed.
He told

Vitalijs, who only uses his first name for security reasons, also revealed he was offered £550 to play "the father of the bride".
But he was lied to as he signed up to give away the girl's 41-year-old mother.
He soon realised inside the theme park the "bride" was instead an underage girl as he immediately refused to be a part of the bizarre act.
Vitalijs then hatched a plan to get the ceremony cancelled as he broke into the park without a pass on the morning of the planned event.
Vitalijs approached the wedding stage and handed a note to Disney staff, who saw a "scared and confused" child in a big dress with four-inch heels taped to her feet.
Staff managed to stop the wedding immediately and called the French cops.
Several suspects were arrested within minutes - including Jhaj and the girl's mum.
Jean-Baptiste Bladier, the Meaux prosecutor, confirmed the Ukrainian child had not suffered "any violence, neither physical nor sexual" and had "not been forced into playing the bride".
The mum was later released without charge but Jhaj was held after being labelled the "mastermind" behind the operations.
It was then revealed that he had rented the resort outside of its opening hours to host the fake wedding.
His sick acts landed him charges of fraud, breach of trust, money laundering and identity theft.
He was also placed under assisted witness status for corruption of a minor.
After his arrest, the convicted paedophile told the examining magistrates in Meaux: "I'm just a simple actor who took part in a film shoot".
His dark past was soon uncovered as in 2016 Jhaj was found guilty of sexual activity with two 15-year-olds in Britain.

Zelenskyy says he'll only meet Putin when Ukraine gets security guarantees

UKRAINIAN PRESIDENT VOLODYMYR Zelenskyy has said he will meet Russia's Vladimir Putin but only after his country has received security guarantees to ensure Russia does not re-invade. He mentioned Switzerland, Austria or Turkey as possible venues for the talks. 'We want to have an understanding of the security guarantees architecture within 7–10 days,' Zelenskyy said. 'Based on that understanding, we aim to hold a trilateral meeting,' he said. The trilateral would involve Zelenskyy, Putin and US President Donald Trump. Despite efforts to move towards a peace deal, Russia has continued to pound Ukraine with strikes, while Ukraine has carried out testing of a long-range cruise missile. Advertisement Russia launched hundreds of drones and missiles against Ukraine overnight in the biggest barrage since mid-July, killing one person and wounding many others. Ukrainian officials said the strikes showed Russia was not serious about a peace deal. 'Russia continues to demonstrate that it is not interested in peace,' Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko said. 'Last night, Ukraine was subjected to a large-scale combined strike: drones, cruise and ballistic missiles, even hypersonic weapons.' Ukraine's air force said Russia launched 574 drones and 40 missiles. Air defence units downed 546 drones and 31 missiles. 'One person was killed and two were wounded as a result of the combined UAV and cruise missile strike in Lviv,' said Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the military administration in the western city's region. 'Dozens of residential buildings were damaged,' he added. Russian fire also wounded 12 people in the city of Mukachevo near the border with Hungary and Slovakia, the city council said. Related Reads Putin will face a 'rough situation' if he does not agree to a peace plan, Trump says Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga said there was 'no military logic or necessity' to the strikes, adding they were 'just terror against people'. Russia's defence ministry said it destroyed '49 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles' across multiple regions. The ministry did not detail any casualties or damage. Meanwhile, Ukraine has tested a long-range cruise missile known as Flamingo that can strike targets at 3,000 kilometres. Zelenskyy said mass production could begin by February. 'The missile has undergone successful tests. It is currently our most successful missile — it can fly 3,000 kilometres, which is significant,' he said. Read on to see how Kris deals with the haters LOVE WINS I'm trolled for leaving my husband after he ended up in a wheelchair – he's in a care home while I'm remarried with kids KRIS Armstrong was one of the lucky ones, after finding her best friend and husband at the age of 16. But her life soon turned upside down at the age of 23, when she got a phone call on her way to work. 3 Kris Armstrong with her first husband Brandon Credit: tiktok/@followmetothemouse 3 Kris decided to divorce Brandon after a car accident left him with PTA Credit: tiktok/@followmetothemouse Advertisement Her husband, Brandon Smith, had been involved in a car accident and by the time she arrived at the hospital, he was already in a coma. When he woke up two months later, the Brandon she knew was gone. Brandon woke up with post-traumatic amnesia and now needed constant care. The pair, from Texas, had both planned to start a family after getting married at the age of 22, but those plans were now unachievable. Advertisement "His memory, which really he's never fully gotten out like 10 seconds long. This is when it really became clear that I went from being a wife to a caregiver," Kris told CBS. "When someone has a severe traumatic brain injury in a big way, you lose that person, but you gain somebody new," she said. "And it took me a long time to realise that." Kris decided to quit her job and become Brandon's full time carer, even changing jobs to become a speech pathologist to help them communicate. Advertisement But after years of trying, it was clear that the severity of Brandon's injuries meant their relationship had changed and Kris filed for divorce to become his legal guardian instead. "I had made vows that I would be with him in sickness and health, and I took that very seriously," Armstrong said. Heartbreaking tributes to Brit woman, 43, killed in jet ski crash at Costa Del Sol resort "I didn't stay married to him, but I wanted to take care of him." Kris took care of all of his appointments, his health insurance and financial matters and vowed to be there for the rest of their lives. In a TikTok clip, Kris revealed that she soon 'drowned' as she tried to keep up with Brandon's care needs. Advertisement Despite having a huge support group, it became too much and Kris had to make the painful decision to place Brandon into a care home. Kris was by his side the whole time, even in 2014, when Kris met her now-husband James Armstrong, she kept her promise. She told James about the situation and he was fully onboard with having Brandon in their lives as well. When the pair first met, Brandon even asked James if they could have a beer together, helping to solidify their bond. 3 Kris' second husband James is also there for Brandon Credit: tiktok/@followmetothemouse Advertisement FAMILY FOR LIFE Now, Kris and James are married with small kids, and also look after Brandon and keep him included in the family. A recent TikTok video saw Kris pick up Brandon so he could celebrate her 41st birthday with them. In the clip, Kris takes Brandon out to lunch, assisting him with eating and drinking, and later shares cake with him back at home. At one moment in the video, Kris shares a sweet clip of James, who can be seen hugging Brandon and giving him a kiss on the forehead. "Thanks for hanging out with me on my birthday," Kris says to Brandon, who responds in kind by mouthing "I love you" back. Advertisement But despite Kris' determination to keep Brandon in her life over the last 16 years since his accident, trolls cruelly slam her for divorcing him in the first place. One wrote: "She divorced him when he got into the accident. Let's not pretend she's a saint please. He has to watch her with her new husband and children after she abandoned their marriage because it didn't suit her." Another penned: "Through sickness and health… but you divorced him and put him in a home." "He's looking at you like he wants you everyday. So sad when people leave their spouse when illness hits," commented a third. In the past, Kris and Brandon have addressed the negative comments, saying they'd rather share it and help others in similar situations than keep it bottled up. Advertisement Kris wrote: "We can choose to bottle up what we go through in fear of being judged but then we don't get the beautiful benefit of community."

Russia launches missile attack on Ukraine as Zelensky seeks security guarantees

Russia launched one of its biggest aerial attacks this year at Ukraine, firing 574 drones and 40 missiles overnight, the Ukrainian air force said on Thursday. The attack mostly targeted western regions of the country, it said. The strikes killed at least one person and injured 15 others, according to officials. Ukraine's foreign minister, Andrii Sybiha, said Russia struck a 'major American electronics manufacturer' in western Ukraine. He provided no further details. Western parts of Ukraine are far from the battlefield's front line in the east and south of the country. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the overnight attack which left one person dead (Jacquelyn Martin/AP) Much of the military aid provided by Ukraine's Western allies is believed to be transported and stored there. It was Russia's third largest aerial attack this year in terms of the number of drones fired and the eighth-largest in terms of missiles, according to official figures. The strikes occurred during a renewed US-led effort to reach a peace settlement in the three-year war following Russia's invasion of its neighbour. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attack, saying it was carried out 'as if nothing were changing at all'. Ukrainian soldiers practise their skills on a training ground near Kharkiv (Anatolii Lysianskyi/Ukraine's 127th Separate Brigade via AP) Moscow has shown no signs of pursuing meaningful negotiations to end the war and urged the international community to respond with stronger pressure, including tougher sanctions and tariffs, he said. Russia 'wasted several cruise missiles against an American business', he said, noting it was a regular civilian enterprise producing domestic utilities, such as coffee machines. 'And that too became a target for Russia. Very telling.' Earlier, Mr Zelensky said Ukraine will hold intensive meetings to understand what kind of security guarantees its allies are willing to provide after receiving signals that the United States would back reinvigorated discussions seeking an end to war. The details are being hammered out among national security advisers and military officials and Mr Zelensky thinks they will take clearer shape within 10 days. He then expects to be ready to hold direct talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin for the first time since the full-scale invasion. The talks could also be conducted in a trilateral format alongside US President Donald Trump, Mr Zelensky said. 'We want to have an understanding of the security guarantees architecture within seven to 10 days. And based on that understanding, we aim to hold a trilateral meeting. That was my logic,' Mr Zelensky said, speaking to reporters on Wednesday after his trip to Washington along with Europe's top leaders. Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov said working on security arrangements in Ukraine without Moscow's involvement would not work, according to state news agency RIA Novosti. 'We cannot agree with the fact that it is now proposed to resolve collective security issues without the Russian Federation. This will not work. We have already explained more than once that Russia does not overstate its interests, but we will ensure our legitimate interests firmly and harshly,' Mr Lavrov said at a news conference on Wednesday.
