Jason Momoa rocks out with son during rare festival performance
That's right, the "Aquaman" actor showed off a different set of performance chops over the weekend, taking the stage during the festival on July 12 to treat fans to a hard-rocking set.

Momoa also made the performance a family affair, bringing son Nakoa-Wolf, 16, who he shares with ex-wife Lisa Bonet, on stage with him for the band's big finale, a rollicking cover of Metallica's "For Whom The Bell Tolls."
"Milwaukee, what's up?" Momoa's son, who is set to appear alongside his father in "Dune 3," screamed, electric guitar in hand, from the Harley Homecoming stage.
"The apple doesn't fall far from the tree," Momoa quipped.
The Metallica cover came at the end of a six-song set that included covers of the Cranberries' "Zombie," Rage Against The Machine's "Bulls on Parade" and Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Can't Stop."

An increasingly sweaty Momoa appeared to be having a blast, showing off some serious bass skills, but letting the band's frontman, Mike Hayes, do most of the showboating.
"We've never done anything like this before, look at this," Momoa said of the band's rare festival gig. But the invite was appropriate: Momoa is a massive Harley-Davidson fan. While in Milwaukee, Momoa was seen riding his bike around the motorcycle brand's museum.
"I love you so much, Milwaukee, what an amazing city," Momoa said amid his set. "I've been working with Harley-Davidson for many, many, many years. I love this company with all my heart. Besides my children and my lady, my favorite thing in the world is being on a motorcycle and traveling around the world. I bleed this company, I bleed Harley, I love them so much."

Stream it: August is action-packed with ‘Alien: Earth,' ‘Eyes of Wakanda' and ‘The Pickup'
The blockbusters aren't just in cinemas this summer, as streaming services have plenty of explosions and car chases to go around. The latest animated addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe launches on Disney+, as well as a terrifying new entry into the 'Alien' franchise. Crime fans get a hilarious heist and a British murder to solve, while Jason Momoa releases his epic historical saga. Check out the latest thrills hitting streaming services this August. 'Chief of War' Jason Momoa ('Aquaman') developed and stars in this gripping historical drama about his native Hawaii. Kaʻiana (Momoa) is a seafaring explorer who is drawn into a bloody civil war and colonial violence when the British arrive on the islands. The series pays especially close attention to historical accuracy, using Hawaiian dialects from the 19th century and even building reproductions of authentic war canoes from local materials, with help from the staff at the Honolulu archiving institute Awaiaulu. Momoa shines as a brooding and conflicted hero combating the destruction of his homeland. Watch it: Streaming on Apple TV+ starting Friday, Aug. 1. 'The Pickup' Eddie Murphy returns to the action-comedy genre and Pete Davidson is along for the ride in 'The Pickup.' The two play armored-truck drivers when their vehicle is hijacked by a professional thief (Keke Palmer). As the plan goes south, she pivots to making the hapless pair rob a casino. Having two of the funniest and most talented 'Saturday Night Live' alumni dodging explosions while bantering is a great way to spend any 90 minutes. Tim Story ('Ride Along') directs. 'Alien: Earth' The Predator recently received a new series on streaming, and now it's the Xenomorphs' turn. A fight with the extraterrestrials on Earth has been teased since 'Alien: Resurrection,' and showrunner Noah Hawley ('Fargo,' 'Legion') is bringing it to life. When a spaceship filled with Xenomorphs crashes into Earth in 2120, a group of synthetic humans led by Wendy (Sydney Chandler) are sent to investigate on behalf of their employer. However, this time there are actually five different types of invasive species being let loose, upping the stakes considerably. Shot in Thailand, the new series recaptures the grimy feel of the Ridley Scott original before branching out into the more lush settings of Earth. Watch it: Science fiction. Streaming on Hulu starting Aug. 12. 'The Thursday Murder Club' It's a golden age for elderly sleuths thanks to 'Only Murders in the Building' and the return of 'Matlock.' Netflix is jumping on the bandwagon with 'The Thursday Murder Club,' which centers on a group of British retirees investigating cold cases until they get involved in a new murder. Helen Mirren ('MobLand') stars as a former spy, now leading the titular club comprising a union leader (Pierce Brosnan), a psychiatrist (Ben Kingsley), and a nurse (Celia Imrie). Mirren brings an imperial bearing and razor wit to the role of Elizabeth Best, the character created by novelist Richard Osman, and with the series up to five books, there will be plenty of room for sequels. This looks as cozy as listening to a true crime podcast wrapped in your grandmother's quilt. Watch it: Crime drama. Streaming on Netflix starting Aug. 28. 'Eyes of Wakanda' Marvel animation may have stopped asking 'What If… ?' but it still has a deeper look at the 'Black Panther' universe ready this month. The four-part anthology series chronicles key moments in the history of the reclusive Afrofuturistic nation, including a disgraced Dora Milaje on a mission, a pirate and an appearance by the Immortal Iron Fist. The series was developed by Oakland native Ryan Coogler ('Black Panther'), with Todd Harris, storyboard artist for multiple MCU projects, serving as showrunner.

Metallica Remember Their Friend Ozzy Osbourne: ‘Hero, Icon, Pioneer, Inspiration, Mentor'
Metallica have paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, whom they credit for giving them their big break. The musician died on Tuesday morning at the age of 76. 'It's impossible to put into words what Ozzy Osbourne has meant to Metallica. Hero, icon, pioneer, inspiration, mentor, and, most of all, friend are a few that come to mind,' the band wrote in a statement on Instagram. 'Ozzy and Sharon believed in us and transformed our lives and careers. He taught us how to play in the big leagues while at the same time being warm, welcoming, engaging, and all around brilliant.' More from Rolling Stone Pat Boone Says He'll Always Cherish the 'Warm Friendliness' of His Old Neighbor Ozzy Osbourne Ozzy Osbourne's Memoirs Return to Top of Charts Following Singer's Death The Tao of Ozzy Osbourne: 17 Profound Quotes From Metal's Prince of Darkness As drummer Lars Ulrich told Howard Stern in a 2023 interview, Osbourne 'was known to bring out bands that were kind of on the verge of breaking' to tour with him. In 1986, Metallica had released Master of Puppets, and Ulrich said Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne 'were kind enough to take us out and give us a shot.' He said that five years prior, he and singer James Hetfield were still trying to 'figure out what we were doing,' and then with the Osbourne's invitation to tour, 'we were out playing arenas in America.' 'It was such a transformative time,' Ulrich told Stern. 'And it was our first go around in the big leagues, and hanging with Ozzy and being around that A-level energy and that sort of A-league, like we were in the we were in the majors.' On that tour, during soundchecks they would play Black Sabbath songs, something the band heard Osbourne thought was them 'taunting him,' but it was really because 'we wanted him to come up and sing with us. That was like our big dream,' Ulrich said. Of course, that dream did come true. They performed together during 2009's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame event, where they delivered 'Iron Man' and 'Paranoid' together. More recently, Metallica performed during Osbourne and Black Sabbath's Back to the Beginning farewell show in their hometown of Birmingham, England on July 5. The band covered Black Sabbath's 'Hole in the Sky' from 1975's Sabotage and they also covered 'Johnny Blade' from 1978's Never Say Die! 'We are heartbroken and devastated by this loss and send our love and condolences to Sharon and their family, bandmates, and his very large circle of friends,' Metallica concluded in their tribute. 'He left an incredible legacy and will be sorely missed.' Black Sabbath paid homage to their leader and scores of artists from across genres and generations remembered the heavy metal pioneer, who collaborated and shared the stage with the likes of Slash, Elton John, Motörhead, and Madonna, as well as Busta Rhymes, Yungblud, and Post Malone. Pete Davidson says it's been his ‘dream' to be a dad
Pete Davidson is overjoyed to be entering his dad era. The actor and comedian is expecting a child, his first, with his partner Elsie Hewitt. 'I'm very lucky and very, very happy,' he told 'E! News' while attending the New York premiere of his new horror movie 'The Home' this week. Hewitt, a model and actress, made the announcement via Instagram last week sharing photos and a clip of her and the 'SNL' alum from her sonogram. Davidson said he's gotten advice from his 'SNL' buddies Adam Sandler and Colin Jost. 'Everybody's just been super excited for me, because they know it's been my dream,' Davidson said. 'They all just have been like, 'You're going to be great at this. It's the best thing you'll ever do in your life.' Sandler gave me some great advice.' It sounds like the couple have been getting quite a bit of support. 'It's been really nice that everyone's super excited,' he said. 'When you do something, when we do anything, you want everyone to be excited, especially having a child.' Hewitt and Davidson were first publicly linked in March. Davison has previously dated several famous women including Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande. In February he talked to Page Six about why people seem so fascinated with his dating life, which has sparked memes about him being everyone's boyfriend. 'Everyone is dating everyone and it's Hollywood. But because I'm ugly, they wrote about me,' he said at the time. 'I was harassed for like five years and it made my life a living hell.' CNN's Dan Heching and Alli Rosenbloom contributed to this report.
