Her career as a golf influencer has given Paige Spiranac such a global positioning that she is more followed on social platforms than Tiger Woods himself. Not surprisingly, she has had the opportunity to play with many celebrities.
So many, in fact, that Spiranac had a hard time deciding who is the most famous person she has played golf with.

Paige Spiranac speaks onstage during the Fanatics Fest NYC 2024 at Jacob Javits Center on August 17, 2024 in New York City. She was asked this question on the latest edition of the Skratch's Vanity Inside podcast, on which she was a guest, and the answer had several twists and turns, including an amusing story about popular movie star Chris Pratt.
"I was in a foursome with Mark Wahlberg and Justin Timberlake and Gary Player," Spiranac recalled. "So, that one was pretty sick."
"And then I played at Genesis, they did the Celebrity Writer Cup and my partner was [singer and actor] Nick Jonas and we played against Chris Pratt."
"He was very slow," she revealed of Pratt while laughing. "Might be the slowest golfer I've ever played with. Super nice guy, unbelievably slow... He had all these people around him and he tells, like, these amazing stories and we're like, 'Hit the golf ball. Hit it.'"
Despite this hilarious anecdote, Spiranac did not settle on Pratt as the most famous person she has ever played golf with.
"I would probably say that foursome with Gary Player, Justin Timberlake, and Mark Wahlberg was number one."
You do NOT want to be stuck in the group behind Chris Pratt. 😂@PaigeSpiranac joined Vanity Index to talk about playing with celebrity golfers, the evolution of her career, what she would do as Commissioner of the PGA TOUR and more. As golf fans prepare for another historic weekend, the PGA Tour took to X on Wednesday with a reminder of the last time a Canadian claimed victory at the national championship. The Tour's post featured a clip of Nick Taylor's walk-off eagle to win the 2023 RBC Canadian Open at Oakdale Golf & Country Club, with the caption, 'For the eagle. FOR THE WIN. Nick Taylor's walk-off victory at the 2023 @RBCCanadianOpen was one for the ages." Fans online were quick to reminisce on the iconic moment. Advertisement "Big moment for the win ⛳️," said one user. "Never forget," one other commented. Turning pro in 2010, Taylor joined PGA Tour Canada (2011-13), graduated from the Tour to the PGA Tour in 2014 and has since put together five PGA Tour wins. Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of contributors If last year's "Wicked" taught us nothing else, it's that there's always more than one side to a story. Diving into the mythology of Oz and adapting the Broadway musical of the same name, "Wicked" earned itself millions of fans who will no doubt never see the story of "The Wizard of Oz" the same way. Read More: 'Wicked 2': What We Know About 2025 Sequel Just as anyone who's ever seen "The Wizard of Oz" knows the so-called wizard was never what he seemed, the so-called "Wicked" Witch of the West, Elphaba played by Cynthia Erivo proves to be a much more complicated character than the one from the 1939 classic. Now it's time to show the second part of the tale in "Wicked: For Good". The new trailer for the highly anticipated for the sequel just premiered. We have it here along with other information you need to know for the follow-up. L to R: Cynthia Erivo is Elphaba and Ariana Granda is Glinda in WICKED, directed by Jon M. Chu L to R: Cynthia Erivo is Elphaba and Ariana Granda is Glinda in WICKED, directed by Jon M. Chu Universal Studios Watch 'Wicked: For Good' Official Trailer The epic conclusion comes to theaters this November. Watch the #WickedForGood trailer now 🧹🫧 — Wicked Movie (@wickedmovie) June 5, 2025 When does 'Wicked: For Good' Come Out? "Wicked: For Good" will be released in theaters on November 21, 2025. Who is Playing Dorothy in 'Wicked: For Good'? So far, there's been no confirmation on exactly why will be playing Dorothy Gale in "Wicked: For Good", though so far most rumors point to Irish actress Alisha Weir. Per IMDb, the confirmed cast of the film includes: Cynthia Erivo (Elphaba) Ariana Grande (Glinda) Jeff Goldblum (The Wonderful Wizard of Oz) Michelle Yeoh (Madame Morrible) Jonathan Bailey (Fiyero) Ethan Slater (Boq) Marissa Bode (Nessarose) Peter Dinklage (Voice of Dr. Dillamond) What Will 'Wicked: For Good' Be About? From "Wicked," we all know that Elphaba is not the force of evil that a surface reading of "The Wizard of Oz" would lead us to believe, but if Oz himself has anything to say about it, no one in his magical land will see her as anything but a villain. In fact, as Elphaba grows more powerful and fights for the liberation of the animals of Oz, the Wizard declares her an enemy of the state. All the while, assuming "Wicked: For Good" faithfully adapts the Broadway musical upon which it's based, things will build up to an emotional reunion between Elphaba and Glinda.
