Samantha Irvin rose to prominence as one of the top
WWE
ring announcers of all time. Her distinctive style, social media antics and presence captivated that audience and led to her gaining multiple fans. However, to the shock of many, Irvin unexpectedly resigned from the company before an episode of RAW in October 2024. Months later, after being involved in new ventures, her return to wrestling was confirmed by one of the closest people in her life.

During an appearance on the Battleground podcast, Samantha Irvin's husband, Ricochet, was asked about her return to wrestling. The former WWE United States Champion stated that she will eventually.

reminded that Irvin herself said it on social media. However, he was not sure when, as Irvin was content with her life at the moment, being at home with her daughter, pursuing other interests, and more.
Ricochet said,
'She says that she's going to… she said on her social media that she plans to return eventually. Absolutely. But right now, she's honestly loving life. And whenever that is, it's whatever she feels is best. At this point right now, she's really just loving her entire life—being home, being with her daughter, the puppies at home. It's great.'
