Kelley Wolf hospitalized after police detain her during Instagram Live amid split from Scott Wolf
Author and public speaker Kelley Wolf was transported to a hospital in Utah on Friday, June 13, following an encounter with police that was broadcast live on Instagram.
The 48-year-old, who has been staying at Sundance Resort in Utah since Wednesday, was handcuffed by Utah County sheriffs in response to a call about 'a female that needed some help,' according to a statement provided to PEOPLE by law enforcement.
'Upon speaking with the female, our deputies learned that she had made concerning comments to a family member, and she also made similar comments to our deputies,' the statement read. 'For that reason, our deputies transported the female to a local hospital.'
A spokesperson for the Utah County Sheriff's Department confirmed to PEOPLE that Wolf was placed in hand restraints in accordance with standard procedure for safety during transport.
'Typically, when we transport somebody in any of our patrol vehicles, they are placed in properly-fitted hand restraints, just for their protection and our protection as law enforcement as well,' the spokesperson said.
The incident comes just three days after Wolf revealed in an Instagram post that she and her husband of 21 years, actor Scott Wolf, had separated.
Following the encounter, Wolf posted updates to her Instagram Stories, sharing an image of what appeared to be a hospital room. 'This is horrible. I have been taken against my will. Please check on my kids,' she wrote, adding that she was 'happier than I have ever been' and expressing confusion over the situation.
In her Instagram Live, later shared to her main feed, Wolf could be heard protesting the officers' actions while remaining compliant. An officer assured her, 'You're not going to jail,' explaining that the goal was to 'make sure you're okay' after comments she had made to family and deputies raised concern.
Wolf has not issued a formal statement, and Scott Wolf's representative has not responded to media requests.

Dua Lipa, Callum Turner confirm engagement
Pop sensation Dua Lipa has confirmed she is engaged to actor Callum Turner, putting an end to months of speculation that began when fans spotted a diamond ring on her left hand in a Christmas Eve Instagram post. "Yes, we're engaged," the singer told British Vogue in its July cover interview. "It's very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don't know, be best friends forever — it's a really special feeling." Dua revealed that Callum had the ring custom-made for her, consulting her inner circle — including her sister Rina and close friends — to ensure it reflected her personality. "I'm obsessed with it," she said. "It's so me. It's nice to know the person that you're going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well." The couple, who began dating in January 2024, have mostly kept their relationship off the red carpet, instead offering fans the occasional soft-launch via sweet Instagram posts. That changed this year, when they made their official red carpet debut at the 2025 Met Gala. Dua wore a striking black Chanel halter dress with a plunging V-neck, while Callum complemented her look in a custom Louis Vuitton black suit, as reported by Vogue. Despite the public debut and engagement, wedding bells won't be ringing just yet. "I want to finish my tour, Callum's shooting, so we're just enjoying this period," Dua explained. "I've never been someone who's really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden, I'm like: 'Oh, what would I wear?'" The two first met at London's River Cafe, introduced by the restaurant's co-founder Ruth Rogers. They reconnected a year later over dinner in Los Angeles, where Dua was dining with poet Mustafa Ahmed and recognised Callum as "that really hot guy from The River Cafe." A shared love for books — specifically Hernan Diaz's Trust — sealed the connection. Since their relationship went public in early 2024, the couple have made several low-key appearances together, from vacationing in Mexico to attending the Glastonbury music festival, where Dua headlined. In October, she posted a photo of Callum kissing her cheek after one of her shows, writing: "Post-show fun and so much love!" As the couple look ahead, both are juggling packed schedules. Callum will next appear in Atropia, a war satire produced by Luca Guadagnino, and in a TV adaptation of William Gibson's Neuromancer. Meanwhile, Dua continues her Radical Optimism world tour, with stops across Australia and North America including a show at New York's Madison Square Garden.

Bear Rinehart denies Bo Rinehart's abuse allegations in emotional response
NEEDTOBREATHE frontman Bear Rinehart has responded to serious allegations of childhood sexual abuse made by his brother and former bandmate, Bo Rinehart. In a June 12 Instagram post, Bo accused multiple individuals, including Bear, of sexually, physically, and emotionally abusing him during his childhood. On June 14, Bear addressed the claims via the Instagram account of his solo project, Wilder Woods. "I feel the need to comment on the deeply hurtful and misleading accusations that my brother Bo made," Bear wrote. He denied being an abuser and expressed concern for his family, stating, 'As a father and husband, I must protect my family from claims that misrepresent the truth.' Bear revealed that both he and Bo were sexually abused at a Christian camp as children by a teenage counselor. He said they never received proper support until adulthood, which led to lasting trauma. Bear acknowledged a difficult counseling session five years ago, where he took responsibility for causing any pain during their adolescence but denied being an abuser. 'To now label me an abuser in such a heartless way is not only deeply painful, but also wildly misleading,' Bear wrote. He emphasized his love for Bo and hopes for eventual healing and reconciliation. The allegations come years after Bo's departure from NEEDTOBREATHE in 2020. He has spoken publicly about his abuse history since then.

Blake Lively seeks to block Taylor Swift involvement in Justin Baldoni legal case
Blake Lively has requested a protective order to block Justin Baldoni's legal team from pursuing her communications with former friend Taylor Swift, as tensions escalate in their ongoing legal battle. According to court documents obtained by Daily Mail, Lively's attorneys argue that Baldoni's team is using Swift and her fanbase as a media tool in the dispute. Lively, 37, is entangled in a sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni, 41, and has claimed that his legal team is employing aggressive tactics, including attempts to involve Swift unnecessarily. Her legal counsel, Esra Hudson, contends that Baldoni and his associates previously claimed to have secured communications from Swift's team in exchange for withdrawing subpoenas, yet have refused to produce the materials. 'This is a tactic to draw attention and weaponize Taylor Swift's name in the public eye,' Hudson wrote. Lively's lawyers say Swift was targeted as early as August 2024 by Baldoni's crisis PR firm, led by Melissa Nathan, which cited Swift's fanbase in a 'Scenario Planning' document as a public relations factor to 'take extremely seriously.' The protective order filing came after social media rumors claimed Swift had recently deleted Instagram posts featuring Lively, sparking speculation about their relationship. Swift's fans quickly refuted the claim, noting the posts were removed years ago during a marketing campaign for her 2017 Reputation album. Additionally, Lively has subpoenaed Scooter Braun and his company HYBE, seeking records related to Nathan's PR work for Baldoni. Braun, who famously clashed with Swift after acquiring her master recordings, was included as part of Lively's broader legal strategy. While Swift recently regained ownership of her early recordings and announced plans to release her debut album's rerecorded version, she admitted in a fan letter that rerecording Reputation has been delayed. She explained that the album was deeply tied to a specific period in her life, making it difficult to revisit creatively. Representatives for Swift and Baldoni have not publicly commented on the latest developments.
