Rahul Bhat is all set for his Hollywood debut with 'Lost and Found in Kumbh'. In fact, he also attended the Cannes Film Festival for the third time to unveil the teaser of the film. However, before 'Lost and Found in Kumbh', the actor will be seen in Sudhir Mishra's next. Titled 'Summer of 77', he will be playing politician Sanjay Gandhi in the project. In an exclusive interview with India Today Digital, the actor opened up about Gandhi, and how he tried to get his aura right to nail the role.advertisement"People don't know Sanjay Gandhi," Rahul Bhat exclaimed when we asked him about the role in 'Summer of 77'. "I feel today's generation has forgotten even Mahatma Gandhi, woh Sanjay Gandhi ko kya hi yaad rakhenge (how will they remember Sanjay Gandhi)."Sharing an interesting anecdote, he said, "I have met Sanjay Gandhi when I was a child. I sat on his lap and he gave me one of those glucose biscuits - I still remember that. The aura, the energy of the man of distinct."
And that's what he is trying to recreate in the Sudhir Mishra project that will be released on SonyLIV. "I have tried to get that right, this aura, his style, his way of talking. I have tried, let's see what people think."Rahul Bhat had earlier collaborated with Sudhir Mishra for the film 'Daas Dev'.
