'Israeli' host Sharon Gal hawks same ‘Greater Israel' pendants gifted to Netanyahu
The gift was presented during a recent interview with 'Israeli' broadcaster i24NEWS, in which Netanyahu described himself as being on a "historic and spiritual mission" for the Jewish people and expressed a strong connection to the "vision of Greater Israel."
The interview, conducted on Tuesday, occurred as his government was preparing to expand military operations into the remaining parts of Gaza.
When asked if he felt a connection to the vision, Netanyahu replied, "Very much," and described his mission as spanning generations.
The concept of "Greater Israel" (Eretz Yisrael HaShlema) refers to the historic or desired borders of 'Israel'. While biblical definitions vary, the term is now commonly used by 'Israelis' to include the territory of the current state of 'Israel' along with the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
This ideology has been a foundational tenet of Netanyahu's Likud party, which traces its roots to Revisionist Zionism and its founder, Ze'ev Jabotinsky. Netanyahu has consistently opposed the creation of a Palestinian state, a stance he has reiterated publicly.
Critics argue that the government's settlement expansion policy is the physical embodiment of the "Greater Israel" vision, creating 'facts on the ground' that make a viable Palestinian state impossible.
Some view the ongoing war in Gaza as an accelerated attempt to implement this vision, asserting that the government's goal is 'maximum land, and minimum Arabs.'

'The National Service' a message that Jordan will neither be threatened nor broken
At a defining moment in the nation's history, and amid a delicate regional climate, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II announced a strategic national decision to reinstate national service (Khidmat Al-Alam), a timely and deliberate response to the evolving needs of the present and the aspirations of the Jordanian people. The reactivation of national service is not merely a procedural move; it is a profound political statement—one that clearly asserts Jordan's readiness to face any challenge. With its wise Hashemite leadership, its Arab Army, its vigilant security apparatus, and its conscious youth, Jordan stands resilient and fully capable of defending its borders and safeguarding its sovereignty against any attempts at destabilization. Undoubtedly, this decision is a direct reflection of the Hashemite leadership's vision, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, to fortify the home front, reinforce national identity, and instill the values of loyalty and belonging among Jordan's youth. Furthermore, this move comes as a direct and assertive response to the recent expansionist rhetoric voiced by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the far-right in Israel, voices that have irresponsibly hinted at ambitions toward Jordanian and Arab lands. The Jordanian response, eloquently delivered by the Crown Prince, was clear: Jordan is strong, steadfast, and unyielding in the face of delusions and threats. Its strength lies in its leadership, people, and army. The significance of national service extends well beyond its military dimension. It is a comprehensive developmental and societal initiative, aimed at preparing youth, encouraging them to actively participate in serving their country, and embracing their national, economic, and social responsibilities. It is a call to empower a new generation that believes in discipline, hard work, and commitment, a generation that will contribute meaningfully to Jordan's future. This strategic move is part of a broader, integrated vision shared by His Majesty and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, aimed at deepening the concept of comprehensive national security. It will inject new, spirited blood into state institutions, young Jordanians who believe in the national cause and understand the importance of unity in the face of escalating regional risks. Moreover, this decision lays the foundation for a new phase in the national project—one that strengthens social cohesion, consolidates authentic Jordanian identity, and promotes national unity and loyalty at a time when the region faces unprecedented polarization and danger. Reactivating national service is, ultimately, a strategic decision imbued with profound political, security, and social implications. It is a powerful affirmation that Jordan will not remain a bystander in the face of threats. Instead, it will act with confidence, grounded in its unwavering principles, proud of its youth, and determined to preserve its dignity and sovereignty. This is a renewed declaration to the world that Jordan will remain, as it has always been, a beacon of security and stability, a nation of honor and sovereignty, impervious to threat and resistant to collapse.

NBA star Kyrie Irving memorializes Gaza's youngest activist as his profile picture
NBA star Kyrie Irving drew attention to the ongoing violence in Gaza by changing his Instagram profile photo to honor Yaqeen Hammad, an 11-year-old Palestinian child who was killed in an 'Israeli' airstrike. Yaqeen, recognized as Gaza's youngest media activist, was killed on May 24, 2025, during an airstrike in the besieged enclave. Her work documenting daily life under the aggression had gained her recognition for raising awareness of the situation facing children in Gaza. Irving's advocacy for Palestine is not new. The NBA star has consistently used his visibility to address the conflict, often at the cost of facing criticism. Throughout his career, he has made symbolic gestures, such as wearing a keffiyeh, during games and post-game press conferences, as well as donning jewelry featuring the map of Palestine and a key, symbolizing the right of return for Palestinian refugees.
