Pushpa Impossible
. The show, which commenced in June 2022 revolves around the life of Pushpa Patel, a woman in her mid 40s and her journey from a house help to an independent woman who crosses all hurdles in her life.
Talking about his role, Gaurav said, "I am one of those fortunate actors, who has been offered interesting and not the cliche roles on TV. Pushpa has an interesting story and my role is well-written. I play a lawyer, who becomes a mentor to Pushpa after much reluctance. The mentorship is earned and he motivates her in her journey ahead."
He added, "TV is a great medium and I have always enjoyed playing roles which have a challenge and depth. I have preferred to keep away from roles which are common in social dramas. In the past few years, while I was acting in
films
and OTT shows, I had never decided to keep away from TV.
I was waiting for the right roles."
Gaurav shared how he has not followed the show Pushpa but he prefers it that way. He said, "I tend to make strong opinions when I watch shows or any content so I prefer to do my homework on a show when I am approached for a role in it. I do watch TV shows but not on a regular basis. I also don't watch OTT shows. I prefer to watch classic films at home and there is a lot to learn from them." Gaurav has been part of many shows like Uttaran, Gulmohur Grand and recently seen in films like Bachchan Pandey and Gadar 2.

World Environment Day: Karuna Pandey, Aditya Redij and other celebs share everyday actions to protect the planet

On June 5, World Environment Day serves as a powerful reminder of our shared responsibility to protect and preserve our planet. This global observance encourages individuals and communities to adopt sustainable practices, raise awareness about climate change, and make conscious choices to ensure a greener, healthier Earth. Reflecting on this crucial day, television actors Karuna Pandey, Pariva Pranati, Aditya Redij, and young talent Vrihi Kodvara from Sony SAB shows shared heartfelt thoughts and personal eco-friendly actions they hope will inspire change. Karuna Pandey, best known as Pushpa in Pushpa Impossible, stressed the urgency of the climate crisis. 'The celebration of World Environment Day is important to raise awareness of the rapidly rising levels of pollution, climate change, and other issues that threaten the survival of our planet. After COVID-19, I feel we are more aware of how vital our environment is. The simplest way to protect the Earth is to reduce, reuse, and recycle. We must adopt sustainable consumption and follow the three R's to conserve resources.' Pariva Pranati, who plays Vandana in Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey, echoed the need for individual responsibility. 'As a mother, an actor, and a citizen, I believe it's our duty to leave behind a greener, healthier planet for the next generation. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch vàng CFDs với mức chênh lệch giá thấp nhất IC Markets Đăng ký Undo Every small step counts—whether it's conserving water, reducing waste, or planting a tree. 'Portraying a wise ruler has shown me how deeply our ancestors respected nature. In today's fast-paced world, we must revive that balance. World Environment Day is a call to action—let's choose sustainability for our future.' Vrihi Kodvara, the young Swara from Pushpa Impossible, shared a simple yet powerful message. 'I love plants and butterflies! My mom says treat Earth like your home, so I don't waste water and try to keep it clean. I hope everyone plants one tree and stops using plastic. Let's take care of nature every day!' Together, these actors remind us that even small, consistent efforts can spark big change.

Adish Vaidya urges urgent forest preservation: Development and environment can go hand in hand

Television actor Adish Vaidya, known for his impactful roles in Naagin, Barrister Babu, and currently seen as Vikram Saran in Pushpa Impossible, marked World Environment Day 2025 with a strong and thought-provoking message. Reflecting on the critical state of our forests and biodiversity, the actor emphasized the need for a balanced approach to progress. 'In the name of development, we are practicing deforestation, which is welcoming a dangerous future,' Adish warned. 'The world's forests have the ability to capture and store carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, which makes them crucial in the fight against the climate crisis. But we continue to destroy more forests every single day due to ever-increasing global demands and urban development.' Highlighting the gravity of the situation, he added, 'Humanity is cutting down its forests, apparently oblivious to the fact that we may not live without them. Even we are disturbing our biodiversity—animal safety is another concern too.' On World Environment Day, Adish made a heartfelt appeal: 'I would like to urge everyone to wake up. I feel development and the environment can still go hand in hand. We do not constantly need to kill our environment for the sake of development. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Tecno Pova Curve 5G | Outcurve Everyone TECNO Mobile Book Now Undo Without pure oxygen and uncontaminated air, we cannot survive for long. Speaking about his own eco-friendly habits, he shared, 'Being responsible, I try to have more plants, arrange shelter for stray animals, limit the use of plastic bottles, and recycle plastic bags with limited use. I feel every one of us taking small steps can bring a huge difference.' Adish's words serve as a reminder that mindful living and collective action are the keys to protecting our planet's future.

Gaurav Taneja's wife Ritu Rathee says she has quit social media, calls out ‘fake' world of influencers: ‘The burden became too much to handle'

Influencer couple Gaurav Taneja and Ritu Rathee, who have millions of followers on Instagram between the two of them, spoke about her decision to quit social media. She said that social media was never a priority for her, and that she doesn't miss it at all. She also doesn't mind losing out on potential brand deals, and said that she finds the world of influencers 'fake' and full of 'lies'. Gaurav, who's more popularly known as Flying Beast online, said that not every influencer is a cheat, and that some are actually honest. In his new vlog, he asked Ritu if she has actually quit social media or if she has taken a sabbatical. She said that she hasn't even opened her Instagram account in a year, and doesn't miss it at all. 'It's one thing that you're earning a living on social media, but if you look closely, your life won't be incomplete without it. I don't miss it at all.' Asked if she worries about the money she's losing out on, she said, 'Not at all.' 'It wasn't a career for me. It was a hobby. Yes, at times I would do shoots and brand posts, but for me, that wasn't the priority.' When Gaurav asked if she'd ever return to social media, Ritu replied, 'No, why would I return to such a fake world, filled with lies? I'm not saying that you're a liar, but all of this just doesn't interest me anymore.' Ritu said that the 'burden' simply became too much to handle. A commercial pilot by profession, she said, 'Now, I live the way I want to for my children and for you.' Ritu's fans left supportive comments under the video. 'Ritu didi bhot zyada sensible or nek dil hai… aise bhot kam log hote hai jo aise level ki socialmedia reach hone ke baad bhi sab chor ke simple jiwan jiye.' Another person commented, 'After entering into spirituality there is a huge change in an individual.' A third person wrote, 'Let her live.' Around the time when Ritu took a backseat from social media, rumours of her and Gaurav going through a rough patch in their marriage also began doing the rounds online. A video showed Ritu at a godman's ashram, talking about being betrayed by her husband. She later put out a video in which she emotionally spoke about the speculation, but didn't confess or deny them. During this time, she had also stopped appearing in Gaurav's vlogs.
